I would have though the best option would be to call back Rogers and use him and Brown to the end of the season, heck Rogers may come in and make the No 1 jersey his own for all we know. Then surely we could use any wages freed up to try and strengthen the outfield, preferably midfield.

They had Houston and Rogers on STV News last night, basically Houston said he has a good relationship with McInnes and he would not want to ruin that by holding on to Rogers if we want him back. Rogers said he would be happy to come back if he was to get first team football.

According to Tyrone from STV via his Twitter account, Peter Houston said earlier today that they would let Danny Rodgers come back to Aberdeen if we needed him back. He said we were good enough to let him got Falkirk in the first place and would not want to fall out with anyone.

The starting tactics baffled me, once again we change the whole shape to shoe horn Considine into the squad even after his awful showing against Partick where I think the Dons may have been better nipping Dobbies and tracking down a garden slug and giving him a starting place over Considine, harsh?? Maybe after that performance at the weekend I dont care. What really surprised me as the lack of fight shown by the players at the weekend, it was as if they were not interested in trying to win that game at all. Our playing style has become so predictable that teams now know how to stop us quite easily and unless McInnes can come up with another idea or 'Plan B' then that wont change. If McInnes also bleats on about not strengthening the squad this month again after that showing then I think his sanity needs questioned. Either bring players who actually want to play or give some of the younger lads a chance.

That was an absolute shambles of a performance, it was if the players did not even get of the team bus! I dont think I need to say anything about Considine, awful performance. Our central midfield were once again non existent, when will we fianlly sign a CM with a bit fight and a presence about them?? McGinn and Hayes were not on form and unfortunately due to a central midfield being utter tripe, if those two are not performing then we arent really creating much in front of goal. Overall just a really awful performance and a huge let down for the fans, especially the large travelling support that made their way down to Edinburgh.

Gutted that Ward is being recalled but they way he has played and with the fact that Liverpool's current keepers are not on the best of form it isn't a surprise really, still a hammer blow though. If Rodgers cant be recalled then we are in a bit of a pickle. If this is the case then I would like to see go and try and secure a permanent replacement rather than another loan. Would not say no to Bain from Dundee or McGovern from Hamilton.

Would it not make more sense to move Nuttall up or recall Shankland?? The problem with taking a striker in on loan is will he get a game before Rooney as the system we favour only uses one up front. The lad has been recalled once already for lack of game time, would he see anymore at Aberdeen??

If we have any intention of keeping him then we need to get him tied down ASAP.

I would definitely like to see us a add a central midfielder in January it is definitely an area we lack cover in. I guess McInnes could also look to tie up a pre contract or two like we did with Shinnie, Logan, Brown, Ward, Goodwillie are all out of a deal at the end of the season so I am sure we may already be looking at possible replacements.

First half display was a shambles, we were being bossed on midfield again and the cock up for their goal between Flood and Reynolds was shocking. Thankfully what ever was done at half time worked as we came out flying in the second half, I think County had a small chance just after the second half started but then we turned the screw and before we knew it we were 2-1 up! We did seem to then sit back again though and invite County on to us and they had a few chances including the one that needed a top save from Danny Ward, it actually seemed to be that save that spurned us back in to gear and then went on to get the 3rd. Overall I though the second half performance was very good and it was reminiscent of our early season form. Touching on the comment about the negative comments from the Dons fanbase. As a season ticket holder I will openly share my opinion on how I think the team are performing whether it is positive or negative and I certainly dont think fans could be begrudged having a moan considering how awful we have been playing recently.

I just dont understand how we can go from that team that won 8 on the bounce to the team that we are currently, we are truly awful, how does such a rapid decline just happen overnight?? McInnes I dont think knows how to get us back on form, to me he looks completely lost.
