In the games I have seen him so far I think has done not too bad, few good touches, plenty of movement etc. His confidence does seem a little low but hopefully that will change when he scores his first goal.

The opinion is varied but I personally think that Langfield maybe could have came off his line to support his defence a bit better for the first two goals. That would be nit picking though, the whole team, other than Pawlett, just did not look in the game at all.

Disappointing result and a really disappointing performance. I assume the only way to go to from here is up as I don't think we could get much worse

Superb result last night, the lads went out and got the job done, 80% through my .... As for Langfield, I see both sides of the coin with him, he is a good shot stopper and has saved us countless times since he has been at the club. At the same time you don't get the nickname 'clangers' for nothing lol!

I thought we played quite well last night and we could have easily have come away with a win, just a little unfortunate that our final ball seemed to be lacking last night. Obviously a tough away to come in Holland next week but I fully believe that we can score against them and push for the result.

Always good to welcome new players to the club, especially as it will give us some squad depth for the upcoming season. I too hope that a left full back is our next focus, I know people are starting to warm to the idea if Hayes playing there but I am not convinced personally, would much rather see him back on the wing.

Overall I am happy with the signing, the lad does have talent and I am sure McInnes can get him back on form.

I thought we played quite well, they were a very poor side with poor discipline, our boys did well not to let the game descend into an ill tempered affair, it would have been good to score more but if that lot can put 6 past us in Latvia without reply then we would deserve to go out lol! Job done for me. My only gripe would be for Robson, if your going to wrestle a penalty off Rooney, make sure you score it! Lol.

With the rumors that they are also looking to bring Bougherra back to the club it does make you wonder where the cash is coming from, especially if they are skint. Oh well I am glad the Boyd saga is now over, next target please DM!

I wish Zola all the best but I agree I think he had to move on. I do hope this means Kris Boyd will be joining us, he would be a great signing.

I certainly wouldn't mind Boyd coming to Aberdeen. He is a proven goalscorer and I personally think he would do well for us. Maybe the attraction of playing in Europe could persuade to come to us.
