My old man got tickets to both home games against England and France. I got first dibs on what game I wanted to go to. Being an impatient 17 year old at the time I almost took the France ticket. Thankfully, I did not. Funny enough, I just sent off for the Tom English book "The Grudge" which is all about that game and the back drop to it.

I was at the 1990 Scotland v England grand slam rugby game where I think FOS was first sung as the "national anthem". That is a moment that I'll remember for the rest of my life.

Even if we got offered 2mil for McKenna I would not take it. The boy has, all be it a "weekend squad", played 4 games for Scotland and captained them the once as well. The kind of money that is thrown around down south for very average players would make a 2mil bid a big no for me.

Soccerbase says that Krystian Nowak is at Panionios. But, It says that he signed on the 30th of June for them. Maybe a touch of the Willo Floods about that.

I've used https://www.familysearch.org/ in the past and found it very good. It's run by the Church of the Latter Day Saints but you would never know that going through the site. They don't try and convert you or anything..... My last name is Duguid, so it was easier to find relatives with having a less used last name. Not sure how you will go if your last name is Smith or Jones... I managed to go back to the 1600's just using free sites.
