  1. Poland might not be around by then either. Vlad wants the old Russian empire which includes Poland as well as Ukraine.
  2. They did however avoid a red card for Jack’s knee high tackle at the end.
  3. Tribute Act 1-0 down to Arabs. Not a result that suits us but funny all the same.
  4. Dean Campbell was 88th minute sub for Kilmarnock in their 3-0 win against Raith. Ryan Duncan played 62 minutes of Peterhead’s 1-0 loss to Airdrie. Kieran Ngwenya played full 90 minutes of Kelty’s 1-0 loss to Forfar. Evan Towler played 90 minutes of Elgin’s 2-0 defeat from Cowdenbeath which puts Elgin in real danger of dropping into relegation play off place. Kevin Hanratty was unused sub.
  5. Pish.
  6. Usually when we have these cup double headers with Motherwell the team that loses the first wins the second. Not sure that this will happen today. Hopefully we have McCrorie back as he and Bates look a better pairing than Gallagher and Bates. Not so bothered about Brown as we have cover in central midfield. Would start Besuijen as he at least looked like he might create something when he came on Tuesday. oot flat Bonnyrigg Rose v Bo’ness United pub 1-1 Ramirez
  7. Beat me to it. Not my first choice but should do a decent job get us back to 4th or 5th at least. Just hope he adapts his style of football as St Mirren and Alloa under him were not the easiest on the eye. Be interesting to know if he is accepting our current recruitment model or if that is going in the bin.
  8. Absolutely no problem with us getting rid of Brown. For wages we are allegedly paying there’s no way we are getting value for money. I don’t think we would be much worse off points wise without him.
  9. Scott Burns claiming Goodwin has signed 2.5 year deal. Also suggesting that St Mirren approaching Scott Brown.
  10. They looked a really good side especially with them just just being in preseason. Imagine playing well in Europe during your preseason.
  11. Tribute Act 4-1 in Dortmund. What the fuck is the world coming to.
  12. Imagine appointing your best mate as manager. No professionally run club would do that…………oh wait.
  13. Well remembered. I had completely forgotten that.
  14. It’s actually fucking true. This could be hilarious.
  15. It surely can’t be McGhee. I just assumed folk were putting Strachen working for Dundee and them being mates together to get the completely wrong answer.
  16. Dundee sack McPake. Only surprise is they left it so late.
  17. Gutted.
  18. Whoever comes in is going to have a job on his hands on tonight’s showing.
  19. Point probably keeps us out of relegation fight. Might have sneaked it at the end but for good save at back post. I have to assume nobody scouted Montgomery as he is rotten.
  20. Thank fuck.
  21. Far too many long balls. Midfield offering little movement.
  22. Good to see Lewis back. Barron probably deserves his start after his performance on Saturday.
  23. Whist I suspect you are right about being out of our budget I would say Solskjaer’s time at Molde (55% win ratio in both his spells) would mean he does have the relevant experience of managing a team like Aberdeen. From memory (which is by no means reliable) most Norwegian teams operate a similar set up to the one we are trying to put in place so it would not be an alien concept to him. ETA: I should say that I am not advocating for Solskjaer to get the job just pointing out that it might not be as outlandish as it first sounds. Just because Charlie is an idiot does not make it a bad idea. Even a broken watch is right twice a day.
