Don’t think Scott Burns is far wrong when he says you struggle to see where the goals will come from. We have looked toothless in recent weeks with Miovski having to work with very little service. We have however looked slightly better at the back but Celtic will be a different proposition to Dundee and Livingston. Anyway just about to get moving and head through. Had a very discussion in work yesterday. If either of the bigots had appointed Thelin it would have been described as a bold and innovative move in the press but when it’s one of the diddy clubs it’s a huge gamble because we went outside the old boys club of managers who fail repeatedly.

Not sure about keeping him on as think his poor periods out weigh the purple patch. Only reason for keeping is it would be one less body to find in the summer. At best he is an average SPL keeper.

Being reported that Ferguson is out for the season and will miss the Euros. Disappointing for lad missing Euros and bad news for Dons as probably means no summer transfer so no sell on fee.

Feyenoord winning 6-0 not really doing them much good as they are still 9 points behind PSV. Ajax are currently 6th 7 points behind the last of the European places which is currently filled by AZ. Cannot remember last time Ajax were not in Europe.

Said before I think it’s just wrong time for us to appoint McCabe. Mixture of him not being in charge long enough at Airdrie and us having been burnt by having inexperienced managers in last few years. As Orlando says I will be very surprised if we do not go with a manager who has been in a job for a number of years and has a longer track record than McCabe. I do however think that McCabe is doing a great job at Airdrie and will move on to a bigger club hopefully before he gets Airdrie promoted.

Two games against Dundee have both been poor this season and cannot see Saturday being any different. We are not an easy team to watch at the moment but we just need to get the results that get us safe for the season. Would expect the team to be broadly similar to Saturday if everyone is fit. Would like to see us try Ryan Duncan instead of Hoillet on left just to try something different. Duk did not do anything when he came on at Livingston to make me think he would be any better than Hoillet. In Train then pub Y Pub then train 1-0 Miovski

Thelin allegedly was just beaten to the Sunderland job by Michael Beale so with the Sunderland job being available again I wonder if the reason for the delay is him holding on to see if they come back in again.

Poor performance today. Created very little all game. Thought we were fine defensively in first half but once McDonald came on at start of second half we looked very shakey. As well as he did as sub last week Duk was poor this week. Really don’t see what Hoilett does to keep starting. Thought he was really poor again. New manager is going to have a busy summer.

Phillips is supposed to be ill.
