I'm continuing the merry go round of AFC forums. Used to post on the old old site (stuff?) and then moved to Donstalk for a while and was here during the time when we all got banned from the Hat. When this place got quiet I did quite a bit of lurking on Abmad but didn't really post. Hadn't been on any afc forum for a while until logging into Abmad today and discovering that this place might get busier again, so I've come full circle.

I had forgotten all about this little gem of an idea amongst all the other embarrassing stuff that was going on during the season. If ever proof was needed that the SPL is a total shambles this is it. I really, really, really wish the other clubs would have the balls to do something like baggy suggests above but sadly we all know they'll allow the bigot bros to carry on regardless. The sooner Scottish football goes bust and we have to start again the better it'll be.

That one quote sums up exactly what I've been feeling for the past year or so. I'm really trying but it's a real struggle to give a toss about Scottish football any more. The whole circus that has been this season is so trivial it that it has really started to wind me up how seriously the Huns and Tims have been taking it. For the rest of us the whole thing is just pointless as we're never going to come close to challenging in the league, and our own chairman doesn't really seem bothered about trying to change that, so why should I waste any time and energy on the SPL? The ball's burst but most of the players don't seem to have noticed yet and are carrying on trying to play the same old way they always have.

Definitely holding players back. The scrapping of the reserve league is just another symbol of the short-termism and general lack of vision that is ruining the game in Scotland.

For all that Diamond had a bad game today, I thought Vujadinovic was even worse. It must be a nightmare playing beside that guy as the number of times he gets caught too far in front of the rest of the back three/four/five is unbelievable. We desperately, desperately need an experienced centre half who will talk the rest of the defence into shape as the plonkers we have at the moment don't seem to have the intelligence or concentration necessary to defend properly for 90 mins.
