  1. I see the SFA have made under 16 tickets £5 for the final. Excellent t move by them (for a change), hopefully there will be a decent turnout for it.
  2. Do they not (like Brentford) want to sack their manager at the end of the season?
  3. Found the exact same!
  4. Haha brilliant. That result appears it would typify how we've been this season (generally speaking). A lot more resilient. Previously teams would not have come back from a goal behind to ICT. Fantastic by the team, dare to dream
  5. Yaaassss excellent! How'd we play?
  6. Inverness CT: Esson, Raven, Warren, Meekings, Shinnie, Ross, Tansey, Christie, Williams, Ofere, Watkins. Subs: Vincent, Doran, Devine, Tremarco, Polworth, Kink, Mackay. Aberdeen: Brown, Logan, Taylor, Reynolds, Considine, McGinn, Flood, Jack, Hayes, McLean, Rooney. Subs: Langfield, Smith, Pawlett, Goodwillie, Low, Shankland, Daniels.
  7. I guess the argument for creating jobs is something I mentioned earlier. There is very little other industry out there currently. That's not to say that there wouldn't be with the right investment, tourism especially. Even if a small portion of that was spent on tourism, you could still have a small scale naval base there without the need for pointless submarines. That way the "naval economy" is still kept in tact. Either way, the product doesn't justify the spending in my eyes. English folk down here keep harping about an increased threat from Russia. Well, I'm quite certain if Russia did want to attack, we'd be fucked anyway. A few nukes arent going to stop them.
  8. When you think our last decent striker was Stavrum, Rooney is barely ever offside. Something that will always stick out for me as a memory of Stavrum. Rooney is fully deserving of the award, but it won't be going his way will it
  9. From his pre match conference yesterday, sounds like we've got a fully fit squad bar the banned Robson. Very good news. He also mentioned Russell wouldn't be travelling, can see him being saved for the home games.
  10. Amazing what you find out on a forum, it is an fascinating subject and blows your mind thinking about it. I'm assuming you have to get the exposure absolutely spot on to be able to photograph deep space well? I've been to a couple of the events down here in London at the Hub in Regents Park. Surprising how much you can see with a few telescopes. I think they're called the Baker Street Irregulars. Interesting bunch.
  11. Very good, didn't see you making much of an effort
  12. Nowhere as yet, but I know there were a few noises about it being hard given his family are down south. I can't see him leaving next season though as every interview I listen to, he seems like he's enjoying it.
  13. Well, they lost the appeal and Robson is out for 2 games. Shame considering he'd arguably played some of his best games of the season of late.
  14. Just listened to Logans ICT preview on RedTV, what a character! Said everyone should note that he's a right back so he should win that and there should be an award for the celebration Would be very sad to see him go, if that is the case.
  15. 25 year anniversary of the Hubble telescope, more pics on the economist website: http://www.economist.com/gallery/2015-04-22/hubbles-25-years-stellar-vision?fsrc=scn/tw/te/bl/ed/hubblegallery
  16. I'm going to go for post cup blues for caley! Out Flight to Amsterdam Amsterdam Amsterdam 2-0 Dons, McGinn and Rooney Did I mention I was going to Amsterdam?
  17. 4-0 victory against the tarts today Shankland (double), Felek and Ross with the goals. http://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/sport/football/the-dons/dons-u20s-take-step-closer-to-title-with-4-0-win-against-hearts-1.867940 Would be a great achievement if they won the development league
  18. Adam Johnson charged this afternoon with 3 counts of sexual activity with an under age girl and one offence of grooming. That should be his career fucked then. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-32436422
  19. This bit especially, a full house, a healthy points tally and making the team feel appreciated will only help us retain and recruit! Need to keep the buzz going.
  20. Good question TC. On face value, the season has been a disappointment, if only for the Celtic games, the last one in particular. We've made massive leaps and bounds on and off the field but we've very little to show for it and still seem to consistently bottle it against them. The cup games, well I think everyone has already mentioned these so I won't go over old ground. But then you take a step back. Massive progress has been achieved off the field, the club is debt free and signed a player from a fellow league team for substantial cash. We've signed a fantastic player in Shinnie who I cannot wait to see tearing down the wing next season. We've also consolidated our best players on long term deals. This all goes hand in hand with the fact that we have been within touching distance of the horrible dhims up until recently. We've been more resilient on the park too and had an incredible amount of shut outs. The goal of the season thread alone fills me with excitement for next season. I do think i'll always wonder what if though. What if they hadn't bottled it against the arabs, what if we'd actually taken some points off the dhims earlier in the season? Let's hope the team get right up for it and finish with as many points as we can. The future is potentially looking quite rosey
  21. Rich bastard
  22. Whilst I know tyrant was speaking sense, there was still a glimmer of hope in my heart. But now that I don't think it is achievable, it should hopefully remove any pressure there might have been and the players can go out and focus on winning games because they want to. Agree it will only be a good thing to try and take as much positivity into the euro games as possible. Regardless, the fact even some of us were still holding out hope shows how much we gave come over the past two seasons. Long may the progress continue.
  23. Really? Good excuse to eat lots of curry then
  24. No point in booking my flights then! Fyvie MOTM, played well tonight. Entertaining game too.
  25. Dhims one up, dodgy decision from the referee (quell surprise) after the ref pulled it back despite playing advantage and the tim fucks messed it up.
