  1. Here's another thought... Let the media focus on DM. Less stress on the players. If the story is always DM's Leaving... DM's leaving... And he isn't, and the team go about their merry business of winning football games (much to our delight) and only have to answer "That's DM's business; ask him" when the Meejies (nice combo eh? Meeja and Weegies lol) ask, it's a damn sight better than having to answer questions like "Your teammate, Ben McThornley, was seen at a fast food restaurant again last night. Do you have any comments as to his fitness and why he canna seem to crack the starting line up"? Much easier to let the manager take the heat and not throw a team mate under the bus.
  2. The Huns know that they need to bring a bigger manager than McInnes to lead them. They still have no ready cash and they are no bigger than we are as a club right now. I DO concede that they have a bigger stadium and better facilities which does give them an edge. Last I checked though (Last week aside) we are still in the running for the league right now! So, Until that is Mathematically no longer the case, I say, "If it ain't broke, DON'T FIX IT"!!!" and leave the gaffer in the job! COYR
  3. Nothing wrong with short term deals. you get to test drive a player under "live ammunition" and are not really put out if it doesn't pan out. If it does, then the player has earned his contract. McInnes has shown a knack for taking local talent and turning out STUDS. The trick here is finding the next ones. whether they be Scottish, Irish, English, French, Dutch... CANADIAN... (Kyle Larin would look awesome up front. Already scores wearing red...)
  4. This whole idea is BORSHT! Milne would be out of his mind to allow the BEST manager in Scotland to leave for our most HATED enemy! That said, I am still scratching my head over Ryan Jack going to the Huns but the team have thrived in his absence. Management style of letting any asset go to a rival that can directly impact your progress is tantamount to shooting oneself in the foot! :hammer:

  7. 4-nil over Livi and a hat trick for Rooney! Gotta think the boy's days as a Don are numbered. Somebody south of Hadrian's Wall is gonna offer up money in the transfer market. Let's just hope it's someone in the Premiership! Not cool on Ryan Jack either! Hope he's ok ~COYR
