  1. 4-0 victory against the tarts today Shankland (double), Felek and Ross with the goals. http://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/sport/football/the-dons/dons-u20s-take-step-closer-to-title-with-4-0-win-against-hearts-1.867940 Would be a great achievement if they won the development league
  2. Adam Johnson charged this afternoon with 3 counts of sexual activity with an under age girl and one offence of grooming. That should be his career fucked then. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-32436422
  3. This bit especially, a full house, a healthy points tally and making the team feel appreciated will only help us retain and recruit! Need to keep the buzz going.
  4. Good question TC. On face value, the season has been a disappointment, if only for the Celtic games, the last one in particular. We've made massive leaps and bounds on and off the field but we've very little to show for it and still seem to consistently bottle it against them. The cup games, well I think everyone has already mentioned these so I won't go over old ground. But then you take a step back. Massive progress has been achieved off the field, the club is debt free and signed a player from a fellow league team for substantial cash. We've signed a fantastic player in Shinnie who I cannot wait to see tearing down the wing next season. We've also consolidated our best players on long term deals. This all goes hand in hand with the fact that we have been within touching distance of the horrible dhims up until recently. We've been more resilient on the park too and had an incredible amount of shut outs. The goal of the season thread alone fills me with excitement for next season. I do think i'll always wonder what if though. What if they hadn't bottled it against the arabs, what if we'd actually taken some points off the dhims earlier in the season? Let's hope the team get right up for it and finish with as many points as we can. The future is potentially looking quite rosey
  5. Rich bastard
  6. Whilst I know tyrant was speaking sense, there was still a glimmer of hope in my heart. But now that I don't think it is achievable, it should hopefully remove any pressure there might have been and the players can go out and focus on winning games because they want to. Agree it will only be a good thing to try and take as much positivity into the euro games as possible. Regardless, the fact even some of us were still holding out hope shows how much we gave come over the past two seasons. Long may the progress continue.
  7. Really? Good excuse to eat lots of curry then
  8. No point in booking my flights then! Fyvie MOTM, played well tonight. Entertaining game too.
  9. Dhims one up, dodgy decision from the referee (quell surprise) after the ref pulled it back despite playing advantage and the tim fucks messed it up.
  10. 1-0 hibs so far. Live on Alba too. Didn't realise they showed "live" games on there? http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/live/bbcalba Ooft, 1-1, absolute peach of an equaliser.
  11. Courtesy of DollyDigital. Hopefully we still have something to play for!
  12. Probably the most sense FIFA have spoken in decades.
  13. Good post Tubilay. It is quite shocking that those running the game aren't supporting the club better by maximising revenue streams (such as through sponsorship of the league etc...). I guess it's all if's and but's and unfortunately all of it does depend on them fighting out corner. The TV "deal" was a complete farce.
  14. Went for the McGinn goal just on the technical skill of it.
  15. We've scored some fantastic goals this season, none of them were flukes either which isn't necessarily something which could have been said in previous years. A joy to watch! 1 - Nicky Low vs Partick 2 - Niall McGinn vs Partick 3 - Adam Rooney vs Livingston 4 - David Goodwillie vs Dundee 5 - Jonny Hayes vs Motherwell 6 - Adam Rooney vs Hamilton 7 - Niall McGinn vs Hamilton 8 - Peter Pawlett vs Caley 9 - David Goodwillie vs St. Johnstone 10 - Adam Rooney vs St. Johnstone 11 - Shay Logan vs Ross County 12 - Peter Pawlett vs Ross County
  16. I think it would be fair, see how he handles that and give him one more chance to break into the first team post Jan.
  17. Ffs. I'm writing a letter to.the SFA. This is a farce.
  18. I used to be the same, but then Sainsbury's upped their game and I preferred going there. Not sure what it was but they gave off the air that their produce was superior to that of tescos. Then the budget supermarkets ala lidl and aldi came along and took their cheap tag away from them too. Down here in London, there are far too many shitty little tesco and sainsburys stores though. Do my head in. Expensive and understandably limited in their supply.
  19. So I see west ham have confirmed that they will be slashing season ticket prices by 25% when they move into the new stadium due to the increase of TV money. Very refreshing to read.
  20. Wow, I know they were lying about their profits and cooking the books but seriously, £5 billion?!?! Going to america really did fuck them. Is it a case that they saturated the market too quickly?
  21. Christ! Even we put up a better fight than that
  22. Excellent post stupie. This is going to make both the SFA and the dhims look incredibly stupid and petty. I hope the rest of Scottish football stands behind them and let's it blow up in their faces. How the SFA could be so stupid and naieve to allow this to happen has genuinely gobsmacked me. This is a whole new level of stupidity. Pathetic.
  23. Here's hoping that Porto can stick two fingers up at Bayern tonight. Not a massive fan of them as a club but will be nice to see a team that isn't one of the favourite progress.
  24.
  25. Club are appealing the red card! I am surprised http://www.afc.co.uk/news/5979.php#.VTZ1ESHBzRY
