It doesn't seem like this tram are capable of it, on paper they definitely are but for some reason appear to lack that killer touch. All that being said though, they have got back to winning games...and 3 points and a decent performance is all I ask for. I really hope it clicks for McLean soon, you can see he does want to do well but I think stooge has hit the nail on the head. Its almost like he's trying too hard which is hindering his clear ability. Hopefully he gets a goal soon and it settles his nerves.

Completely agree, especially with the last paragraph. I do just about remember when the SPL came about but can't say I was very aware of why etc. Have to hand it to the FA / EPL, they know what they're doing in terms of marketing. I'm sorry Rico, but I just can't see your plan working, pretty much for the reasons both myself and rocket have outlined. Its a nice idea and I agree with it in principle, but I think the very idea of professional sport needs reward. And sharing wealth sees the reason for progression completely nulifed. Just my opinion, happy to be convinced otherwise.

Great to hear that despite the clubs official stance to it, the fans are proving their worth! Long may it continue, well done to all involved

Well, 1-0 and a Robson red card, deserved?

Aberdeen: Brown, Logan, Taylor, Reynolds, Considine, Hayes, Flood, Robson, McGinn, McLean, Rooney. Subs: Langfield, Smith, Pawlett, Goodwillie, Jack, Shankland, Daniels. Dundee Utd: Cierzniak, Fojut, Morris, Butcher, McGowan, Souttar, Telfer, Erskine, Dixon, Ciftci, Bilate. Subs: Dillon, Muirhead, Scott Smith, Spittal, Szromnik, Anier, Coote. Referee: Bobby Madden. Jack still not fit enough? Though I suppose it would.be harsh on flood and robson

Checked it out today, they trued to get me to sign up, anything come of that? I'm always mindful of sites that ask stuff from me. Currently using a site I don't need to do anything other than stream, didn't have kajaki right enough though

I think the whole of Scotland minus the numbskulls would agree with that statement!
-
Is it though? I think the league has been the most exciting since I can ever recall (i.e. since I've been a dons fan). Certainly the past two seasons anyway. Keeps teams motivated to keep going and there has been healthy competition throughout right up until the last day or there abouts.

Wow, I had missed this article last night, much like the debate last night, the women are speaking more sense! The new Turnbull Hutton?
-
I really hope we stick a few past them. If only to see Jackie's wee greetin face!
-
I'm sure he'll be very pleased to hear that

I knew it, Donstalk has turned into a hook up site!

This pretty much sums up how I feel, although I also think he could do with a good kicking But that's by the by. I just can't take anything he says seriously, but the problem is there are a lot of stupid people in this country that will swallow his rhetoric. Don't get me wrong, there are a couple of the UKIP policies which make more sense than what other parties are proposing and he is charismatic, however the majority of what of it is just what the Tories wish they could say. I saw a couple of poll's this morning where they showed him coming up in third place last night, which I find baffling. He was completely shown up and had barely any applause from the audience, which says a lot in itself. Thought Ed Milliband came across a bit weak at times and had their vague policies exposed. Dimbleby was far better than that woman a couple of weeks ago imo my opinion. Only once did it get out of hand and he swiftly hammered them for it.

The Argument For A Standing Section Steps Up
manc_don replied to phoenix's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
oddly enough this has been a genuine question at work, introducing standing desk areas for reasons in the blog. Does make a good argument for safe standing though, all those health benefits They've said no to it at pittodrie have they not? -
She exposed Milliband and made Farage look like the village idiot he is. Problem is, he isn't targeting the studio audience, but the numskull sat at home worried because he can smell curry from next door. I think he's a bit like the English rugby team, very good at what he does but absolutely loathsome and thinks he's better than he is. It's good to see Sturgeon coming to the forefront of the rest of the british mind. Handled herself very well over the past two debates.

Dirthy Filthy Hun Scumbag Vermin (deceased) and Poundland tribute act

£5,500?!?! What's the point in fining the fuckers?!? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32341118 -
Whilst it's a bold and and honourable idea, I can't see the point in doing it. How does that inspire anyone to finish higher up in the league if there isn't a real benefit? There has to be some monetary or reward. I don't disagree with the euro prize money being filtered through the league, but the actual league prize money should not be shared.

Anyone else watching the debate tonight? Edit: Sturgeon coming across very well and getting plenty of applause. Housing should be a massive topic, far more important than immigration imo. Sick to death of the amount of housing here in London that gets sold off to the Arabs / Chinese and russians. The housing crisis is caused by estate agents and estate agents alone. Fuckers.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32338932 Surely he should have had all this in place when he was attempting his coup? It's not like he wouldn't have known that this was required -
We have a few of those down here and i've always been thoroughly underwhelmed by them. Some nice cakes right enough, but it's expensive for what it is! Farage is a fud, hope he chokes on a cigar.

Excellent post. I've often wondered when the city of Dundeh would realise this, though if I was one of their fans, I don't think I'd want it. Football tribalism and all that. You only have to look at what happened in Inverness (though i'm not sure how well these were supported anyway). But point is, I think that we do have a good sized league now for the size of country that we have. There may be a division too many in the league set up, and maybe making the lower leagues more like the Highland and Lowland leagues to keep costs down for clubs would be a sensible idea. I'd say top 2 would be as they are and the other 2 merge into a regional set up. Jute, you are right: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32332187 Absolute farce, shouldn't have happened in the first instance.

Interesting, I wasn't aware of this at all! Oddly enough, I've actually thoroughly enjoyed the last two seasons, the split has been working and interest has increased. It's not broke, why try to fix it? I would be disgusted if they changed it to ensure the hunnery mk2 got a free pass up the leagues. Scottish football has thrived in their absence. If anything though, I would like the play off system revised, because it's not fair that the Premiership team only has to play 2 games rather than the possible 6 that a fourth placed team would have to.

Probably right on that one. Shame we never had him a few years back really.
-
Best make sure we beat them then

I see he made his comeback against the loss to Hamilton u-20's the other night. Is that their first loss in months?!?
