  1. Sounds like Flood is very much a doubt for tomorrow along with Pawlett. Flood has bruising to his ankle. Could see Smith making an appearance at some point tomorrow then. Wouldn't be too upset with that line up Rico, I know some folk saying we shouldn't need 5 against Dundee, it's more ensuring we provide Ward protection for when he spills a shot. Quinn is brilliant at being that guy.
  2. According to the press conference yesterday, DM was saying that our transfer business is done for the season. I'm guessing he's just playing dumb. also said that any players going out on loan needed to be right for the club but doesn't need to be sorted before the window shuts.
  3. Interesting read re: kick off times and what fans think should be done to mitigate any changes to the fixture list.
  4. Seems like he's been on McInnes' radar for many a year?
  5. City sign Otamendi for £30 million. Decent player, not sure i'd value him at £30 million though. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34002463
  6. Yeah I just didn't want to commit to 5 at the back, but essentially that's how I see him being used. He protects Ward well which is what I think he'll need against Dundee.
  7. Good spot, swap Jacko in for flood!
  8. quite the journeyman. Hopefully not just another Monakana...du du du https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josh_Parker
  9. Arguably our toughest test yet this Saturday. Dundee have looked good and certainly don't look out of place in this league. The work that Hartley has carried out so far is impressive. A team that generally like to get it down on the deck and play football whilst being quite robust in midfield, obviously Low used to have decent games against them will likely be lining up against us. Their recent record at Pittodrie has either been a mixture of score draws or narrow wins for us. Again, I can't see DM making too many changes this week, not sure what his strategy is with Rooney but if hes just giving him time to get match fit and comes on like he did last week, we should be fine. I would like to see Logan pick his game up though, not sure if it's having a newborn or what but he's definitely not hit the heights of previous seasons. Ward Logan / Taylor / Considine / Shinnie Quinn Hayes / McLean / Flood / McGinn Goodwillie In/ Out: Out Pre matcher: Packing Match: Hopefully listening online Post matcher: Local pub Prediction: 2-1 Dons, DG and Rooney
  10. A lot of folk saying LVG pulled the plug on the transfer rather than Pedro rejecting United. Not sure how much truth there is in that, I'd say money probably talked. Possibly above falcao, or he'll play instead of Willian and cuadrado
  11. Well doesn't look like there is any chance of malmo causing the dhims much trouble. 2-0 down already
  12. I use Firefox on my mac. Safari seems to have endless problems with it
  13. Decent podcast review of the game:
  14. Well, well, well. Chelski sign Pedro from under united noses.
  15. Agreed, as well as the fact he has played with most of them for a good number of years. They are all familiar and accept their roles within the team almost without being instructed.
  16. Have to say, I've definitely thought he's grown into the role relatively easily and seems to be flourishing. Good on you Jack, keep up the good work!
  17. Replicated the first teams victory against Motherwell yesterday: http://www.afc.co.uk/news/6605#.VdRBA_lVhBc
  18. Holy shit, what happened to Falkirk last night?!?! Lost 5-3 to Peterhead!
  19. Dandy Don, Mentor and MadBad are all USA residing Dons. Until I upgraded my browser recently, it used to take ages for anything to load. It's now ok, but can't say i've ever had a problem with their customer service since the upgrade
  20. Lol, they clearly checked his Wiki! Although there does seem to be some confusion as to where he was born, some say Reykjavik, others Gothenburg Never forget the face when a few of us went to the Leyton Orient - Rotherham game a few years back. He was the only one who smiled when we started signing at him. Other former dons looked petrified
  21. Named by Martin O'neil for the Oirish squad
  22. Even the worlds biggest reference point has him down as our scout (i know i know) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_McMaster_(footballer) But unless he's Mark Magoo, who else really keeps their wiki up to date so you may well be right.
  23. That's what I thought, unless he's been moonlighting?
  24. Aye, they probably hate us more than their pretend larger neighbours. 14,786 Add another 1,000 if the sun is shining
  25. Definitely worth purchasing. Especially since the SPFL youtube content is shite this season.
