  1. http://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/competitions/scottish-football/9928018/time-difference-won8217t-affect-aberdeen Am so jealous about folk going out there. Kazakhstan has always been on my list of countries to visit (along with Georgia). Not sure about Logan's hat in this one!
  2. Could well be right, just remember we did have a game postponed but for some reason I had it in my head it was an away game.
  3. Did we not have an away game postponed last year?
  4. Hibs ignore his transfer request and reiterate their position that they will not be selling to the Sevconians: http://www.hibernianfc.co.uk/news/5590
  5. I keep forgetting he's not there any more and still seems strange. Fair enough, some replacement!
  6. Vidal moves to Bayern from Juve. As if they really needed any more players!
  7. Not sure I get the hype around him. Think he's good, but good enough for us? I'm not sure. I see McInnes has confirmed that no-one will be leaving whilst we're in Europe. hopefully it's a smokescreen or we're just waiting for the right person to be available for us. Makes sense not to let someone like Shankland go unless we're got a replacement. https://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/fp/aberdeen-fc/no-pittodrie-exits-while-were-still-in-europe-says-mcinnes/
  8. I would be very pleased with this. He'd get good game time and time to better his first team experience. Would love to see him develop into the player a lot of people have hoped / raved about.
  9. Better make sure that happens then I do agree though, I wouldn't want us to break the bank for him unless we had that sort of cash available. If DG can maintain this level of performance throughout the season i'll be happy enough as he's providing chances which others are taking. With Rooney and then hopefully another coming in, we'd be well placed for a strong season.
  10. Info for a few DTers that are going to the game on Thursday: http://www.afc.co.uk/news/6514.php#.Vbc4JLNVhBc Some fucker has called a meeting exactly during this game now, so can't even slyly watch it
  11. Game for 12 August has been postponed after the club requested a rest wish from the SPFL. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33683503
  12. As one of my friends put on fezbook this morning, it's like being nominated for father of the year by Josef Fritzl: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33684831
  13. Excellent news! Mind you, at 3:45 PM I doubt there is much else on TV at the time have to try and watch with a minimised screen at work. I quite like their commentary, though analysis after the game is pretty much non existent. Not sure if I like that or not!
  14. Always pleasing to hear that the youth has some good prospects, Scott Wright was getting plaudits last season was he not? Wee article in today's EE about Clangers, fearing it's his last appearance. I hope all concerned it is. Thanks, but wish you all the best.
  15. Good to hear Hilton! Glad somebody went but aye, I understand why there was, just a shame all things considered. This was announced way before we even knew about Europe and thought with a few goodens like seve turning up it might entice a few more.
  16. I know he's been far from the best keeper we've ever had, but was sad to read only 3k people turned up to see clangers testimonial. Don't think the opposition would have helped mind, hardly a big name team. I do hope he finds a suitable club afterwards, surely won't be with us much longer?
  17. Atmosphere sounded pretty decent at the game. Hopefully the team (minus the gulls) have encouraged a few more to go along again.
  18. Watched the game back last night and I don't think we'll be able to play like that domestically. As you guys have said, we invited way too much pressure onto ourselves, particularly in the second half. Something seemed to change, maybe they got nervous I'm not sure but it seemed a bit chaotic to start with. Still, a very good performance and the guys seem to know where each other are, plenty of passing out from the back rather than hoofing it. Quite a few of the hoof balls even found goodwillie. Can't say Ward had much to do apart from pick the ball out of the net twice.
  19. Ha, look at this! They have no shame http://www.theguardian.com/media/greenslade/2015/jul/24/daily-record-sanitises-story-of-player-banned-for-sectarian-tirade?CMP=share_btn_fb
  20. Chris Maguire joins the former Dons contingent at Rotherham
  21. Wasn't able to watch the match last night and I know we conceded two (albeit one was a freak of a deflection) last night. How did the defence compare to the week before? I'll accept your comment about having a keeper who commands his box, something I noticed in the first leg too was how much he spoke to his back line. Joy to see!
  22. Agreed, it seems to be working for us. I would love DG to continue his good form into the league. If this is the guy we signed, i'd be delighted, regardless of whether he does or does not score goals. he's creating massive chances which we are taking. Highlights for 3/4 goals, searched the web (apart from redTV) and they all have the same highlights randomly. McGinns strike (not shown) is an absolute peach! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQFmI4kouKA
  23. Christ that's brutal! Keep forgetting the season starts next weekend. Hardly ideal prep before our first league game. Nice one uefa. Ive aways wonder how the fuck Kazakhstan is in Europe anyway?!?
  24. Saw Goldie and the heritage orchestra tonight at the royal festival hall. Fucking brilliant. Timeless was a seminal album and great to hear it live.
