  1. Ha, of course not, as fans we should question everything! As i said, I also think he's indecisive, my point was more if DM thinks he's the best person for that position at the moment, i'm ok with that despite my personal differences. Probably also because I don't get to watch us as often as i'd like...
  2. I quote from 5's at Firhill circa 2013: "you can tell you're a defender, you've got the positional sense". That not why you flew me in anyway?
  3. I like Taylor, but definitely think he's a bit of a bomb scare at times. Being a defender myself, I often thinks he panics and there is an indecisiveness about him. However, he has vastly improved and does score big goals like he did on Saturday. I trust McInnes in who he puts in the team. I really hope Logan picks his game up. He seems to be off the boil since his mrs had his latest child. That said, you will always be able to trust him to make a last ditch tackle, he is excellent at those.
  4. Excellent to see us getting 3/3 so far. Long may it continue. Anyone at the game today ? Looked like a great support, both tiers open!
  5. Cunning plan to help the huns out that's for sure! Amusing nonetheless though, some of the sevconian patter on fezbook would leave you thinking he's the messiah!
  6. The road to the east of the stadium is pedestrian only except in the event of emergency, however there is also an access road to the stadium (beneath the west stand) which connects in to the road to the south. But this isn't for public use. The road to the east is highly contentious as the planners wanted it to be wider, but devopers being what they are obviously haven't changed this for optimisation reasons. I wouldn't say that its any easier, given that this is on the Wimbledon dog track site , but that's a whole other debate. Fortunately the support for the wimbleDons to move back to plough lane are greater (not the same site as the original). One of the biggest differences here would be rights to light which might come in to play, I've not seen which side the windows are on in the apartments behind the south stand but would have thought that would massively hinder the height of the stand if they're on then wrong side. Obviously the points you raise are also all completely valid but there could be clever ways around this.
  7. Got the Motherwell 6-5 classic game on now https://redtv.afc.co.uk/archive/433
  8. Look forward to seeing it Tom! I think you'd be surprised though, as I said (probably earlier in this thread), the AFC wimbledon stadium which is far from ideal given the constraints we've had to work with, is on a footprint similar to that of the existing Pittodrie. Essentially, to the west of the land there is an existing set of substations - no access, to the south and east and part of the north is part of the master plan (i.e. residential) as well as other tenancies, however the club had very little say and have had to deal with what they have been given. The planners have criticised the master plan (Sheppard Robson) as it doesn't allow the stadium enough space to breath. I am certain that we could redevelop Pittodrie, however whether the costs would allow that to happen is a whole different thing. Neighbour issues as well would play a role, but it's certainly not impossible. The above is for the 20K final solution, whereas the first phase would be 11K (1 permanent stand and 3 temporary, 1 being standing). In terms of dealing with the public / housing frontage, the stadium will use a different set of materials which would usually be associated with a stadium for this very reason. It'll be interesting to see how it turns out after a few years.
  9. I would say, generally his good signings are obvious ones. Ones that have a proven track record in the SPL/SPFL. Have nothing wrong with that because its great to be in a position where we can actually attract the obvious players. That said, he's picked a couple out of left field in Logan, hector and ward which have worked out well (so far).
  10. Oot Recovering Berlin somewhere Kreuzberg 2-0 dons - mcginn and rooney
  11. Just read about this, apparently hibs want a couple of dhim bench warmers for the privilege. Would work out perfectly
  12. Motherwells keeper looks shit.
  13. Good read, thanks for posting stooge! Much like Al my heart was in my mouth when I read the title of the thread but needless to say, I've always thought Wright conducts himself very professionally and will probably have a bright future in the game. St. Johnstone certainly know how to find a manager. Hartley's comment to bain after the game the other day, amused me, "what a fucking save" that it was too.
  14. Would please me greatly if van dick left on deadline day, just before they manage to get someone in. Amazing that some of the dhims value him at and expect to get £20 million. Fair play if they actually get that but no way in hell is he worth even half of that. Loved the cheeky Killie penalty! GIRFUY Collins, even if it pains me to be pleased for mccuntloch and the sevconian light bears.
  15. Thank fuck we don't actually have to deal with him anymore bobby, the Arabs can have him. Heard all of them over the course of the three horrific EPL games over the weekend. The we go again amused the hell out of me at the time, and summed Liverpool up at the time, bit of a joke. The fans bought into all that crap without realising everyone else was laughing at them.
  16. Well, I actually do some work for a few hours and come back to all this. Happy-ish days, providing the hairy one signs
  17. I LOL'd that's for sure
  18. Excellent Dundee derby, much better than the English stuff that was on over the weekend. Been end to end, Spittal looks like a player. St. Johnstone drawing 1-1 with County Barca were 4-1 up against Sevilla in the super cup, Sevilla have clawed it back to 4-4.
  19. This is insane! From today's Ado Den Haag - PSV game, ended 2-2 with this being the equaliser!
  20. Where've you been Bobby Id agree with that. He was average, kept us in some games, lost us others. I'll never fault his effort or desire and i'll certainly wish him well, but i'll not lose any sleep or shed a tear over him leaving.
  21. Was brilliant at the 2014 WC too! Scored a hattrick did he not? But I don't disagree, he wasn't going to get into that Bayern team, but surprised Inter let him go. Well played Virgin
  22. Stoke sign Shaqiri, they've definitely got the makings of a good team. Thought they were unlucky against Liverpool on Sunday, played the better football and deserved to win. Key issue being, they didn't score before Tyrant starts
  23. Once brought a mate of mine to a Falkirk away game. He was amazed at how much Richie Byrne and Foster got. They were shite right enough but doubt that helped.
  24. Doh! Open letter from Langfield, quite nice really.
  25. Gone! cheers for the memories and effort. All the best! http://www.afc.co.uk/news/6578.php#.VcnGgvlVhBc
