  1. Still game returns tonight does it not?
  2. Had similar issues with a previous powershot, although I don't think it was down to the camera. Managed to get some dust or dirt in the lens and it was completely fucked. The problem with point and shoot cameras, if one bit goes wrong it generally costs more to fix it than buy a new one!
  3. Ooft, looks a treat!
  4. From memory, you have to post something like 15 or 20 posts before you can modify the simmie / durrant karma. No doubt you'll clock that up soon enough
  5. Copy the image location and the click the Mona lisa looking icon next to the flash. The image location needs to be in between the code [ img] in this bit [/img ]
  6. that is amazing.
  7. Simmie and Durrant function underneath your avatar. Good guy / wank mode essentially!
  8. He the new Ghost then?
  9. Meant to add, I used to love System of a Down. War used to be one our pre-football psych up tunes at school. And what's not to love about Chop Suey
  10. International call up can only be a good thing, but I just don't get how you can get a call up if you've not played any games!? Is he right or left footed?
  11. You've yet to meet CtS then, sounds like you're cut from the same cloth
  12. Would love to see them live. Been a favorite of mine for many a year. Load, black album, Master of Puppets and the S&M albums were epic. Enjoyed GNR but only certain tunes, probably the classics in fairness! You've just inspired my afternoons listening

Where are you going to be for the semi? If in Osaka, I know a place called "the Hub" which has multiple screens so you might be ok. I can ask a few mates out there otherwise. There's always the token irish pub, Blarney Stone being one of the,.
  16. They were already shite, so probably blended in quite easily.
  17. Daily express catching up it seems, or the evening express got it wrong Anyway, the express saying he's getting a new deal, nothing on their site yet, would be wise if these Ireland calls become a regular occurrence.
  18. Not really a football bust up but me and my mates had to step in and save a jambo once after a night in Glasgow. Was being set about by a bunch of hibs casuals the night before the derby. Most bizarre end to a night I've ever had. Never forget the sight of seeing one my mates with 3 of them on his back and still winning All in the same night as singing a certain song to durrant at a gig, he was raging
  19. Did not know that, what an absolute fud! Mind you, that's magoo-esque...
  20. True enough one of my mates is a York city fan, haven't spoken about jaclyn in a while. Trust his level of hate will be on par with ours now
  21. If you hit more below the other smilies, you get one of the classics
  22. Good man, glad you've stepped up to the plate Always enjoyed them on Mad
  23. Is Morris alive? I know he was on the bench a few weeks back, presume we'll never see him in a red shirt (apart from the u-20's)?

Definitely an experience So temples, my favourite one is the Kiyomizu-dera which is in the hills overlooking the city. Golden temple is lovely but generally rammed with tourists. The streets down the hill from Kiyomizu-dera are fully of small pottery shops, some decent noodle places there too Try this sake bar, i've not been but my parents went there last time they were there and raved about it: http://openkyoto.com/postcards/kyoto-sake-bar-sake-cafe-hanna.html The Nishiki market is worth a visit too. Kyoto Sanga, the local football team, aren't very good, but the atmosphere was pretty good when I went. Travel wise, make sure you get the Japan Rail Pass. It doesn't get you on the most current bullet trains but does get you on the Hikari I think, so you'll get to Kyoto from Tokyo in reasonable time. In Osaka, make sure you try some of the Okonomiyaki. It originates from Osaka and was a street food. Dotonbori is ace if the Hanshin Tigers (one of Osaka's baseball teams) wins, if they win the championship they jump in the river here. There's also a department store in Osaka which has a small ferris wheel in the front. It's a really strange store, used female underwear in a vending machine.
  25. Welcome aboard! Were you a fan of Fiorentina or just the place? In fairness, I no longer live in Manchester...
