  1. He really needs to see that Taylor is shite. Glad to hear two of the new boys were decent. What about the other new signings, any of them get a run out?
  2. Dons win 4-2 against East Fife. Goals from Rooney, o'connor and two from stockley.
  3. So predictions for today? I have a worrying feeling that Portugal might actually do it today. France are quite shite at the back. Depends on which Portugal turn up mind.

    Andy Murray

Haha true enough, I was referring to Fred perry's record of 10 grand slam finals

    Andy Murray

Murray through to his 11th grand slam final, which now breaks Fred perry's record. Will be playing raonic after his beat Federer in the earlier game
  6. Ventspils comfortably got through their tie 4-0 on aggregate and will probably provide a tough test to the team. Hopefully the team and management have got their act together by then and we start playing football again. Yesterday was unacceptable and hopefully the only time we play like that under mcinnes' reign. I don't think that formation is working for us. Will be good to see what storey adds in to the mix. No confirmation as to whether this will be televised as yet, but I'm sure premier sports have the away leg.
  7. I'm still not over how bad that was. I don't care if that was the second competitive game, we play like that again and it will be a mcghee esque Celtic Park scoreline. Truly one of the worst performances I've ever seen from an Aberdeen side. And that takes some beating. Still, we're through (not sure how). I hope we never play like that again under McInnes and it was an off day.
  8. Well that was as clear a pen as you can see. How the ref booked Rooney for it is beyond me.
  9. Was thinking the same BigAl. Fucking horrific stuff.
  10. Had zero service today. Looked knackered when he came off too. Hopefully Rooney makes the difference
  11. Agreed. We look honking. No support for any forward movement. Can't see us scoring today. So far, nothing has changed from the team at the end of the season. Lacklustre.
  12. Team for tonight, will be interesting to see what O'Connor adds in the middle.
  13. I still find it unbelievable that the "rebel" mps haven't been lynched. Their behaviour is an absolute disgrace but little wonder that these are the ones who voted for the war. No wonder they're trying to cover themselves. Well done to corbyn for staying strong, if that isn't strong leadership, I don't know what is. He has been harassed and bullied from day one but hasn't given up on his mandate to serve those who voted him in and not his beneficiaries (fellow mps). It's almost like they forgot why they're there in the first place. I was also very pleased to hear the mother calling bliar the world's biggest terrorist. Completely accurate. He put on his priministerial voice yesterday, but the lies were there for all to hear. Chilcot for want of a better word called him incompetent in his planning and dealings with this farcical war. How I would love to see him suffer in the hague. Not once has he said he's repentant for his actions, indeed he said he'd do it again. Absolute arsehole.
  14. Sad to see Wales out, but as Jute said in the other thread, they looked like a completely different team without Ramsey. Still, fantastic effort, not bad reaching a semi-final in your first appearance in a major championship for 58 odd years or whatever it is.
  15. Good to see McGinn is getting a well earned rest. Not in the squad for tonight.
  16. Messi sentenced to 21 months imprisonment for tax fraud, presume it will be a delayed sentence?
  17. Yes, it lies further north! Would be very pleased if this happened.
  18. Seems like he had passport issues too. In other news, Super Kev is joining up with Caley for a trial. Never wanted to see him at another Scottish club
  19. Public consultation starts on 25 July. Anyone intending on going along?
  20. For those going to the away leg, one local fan has mentioned place d'armes as a good place with plenty of bars https://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/fp/aberdeen-fc/guidetoesch/ Updated info: Fans Area The Luxembourg Police and Police Scotland have agreed a suitable location for the Red Army to congregate prior to the match. The area is a square called Place D'Armes. It is a 20-minute walk from the stadium. The Red Army are invited to meet there and march to the stadium at 4pm local time. Ticket Collections For those who still have tickets to collect they can do so at the stadium (Stade Josy Barthel) at 6.30pm on Wednesday 6 July or from 4.30pm on match day (7 July). AFC representatives will be in attendance. Please be advised as usual you will need to show your passport to get your ticket.
  21. I see Chris antoniazzi has rejoined after joined the tattie munches for a while. Reading comments elsewhere he was / is highly thought of, anyone know much about him?
  22. I am amazed it's taken this long for Saudi Arabia to be bombed.
  23. True, I was getting used to him. The relaunch was terribly timed, I've missed so many because of the Euros. I really wanted it to be a success just to noise up Clarkson.
  24. Chris Evans has stepped down...
  25. Thanks for clearing that up
