  1. It's good we've started the campaign without conceding, but you're right. We need to take these chances or we're going to be on the end of too many draws or worse even, defeats. Hopefully they find their shooting boots! Hopefully O'Connor keeps his place too...
  2. I'm thinking McInnes is hoping that O'Connor is the answer at CB, but i'm still hoping we're looking at a CM. I hate seeing Shinnie in midfield, ideally we need another one of him!
  3. One of the reasons I would never move to Oz! They are equally as bad as the Americans. Yanks of the southern hemisphere. Unbearable with victories, people go on about the English, but fuck me, these guys take it to another level.
  4. That's his tally at 4 for them is it not? Has he even scored that many for us? I always liked him, hopefully the loan spell does him the world of good.
  5. Sounds like we passed up a shite load of chances? Really need to start to taking chances. A wins a win in the cup though
  6. I'd generally agree with that, sensible line up. Minus McLean, think we need to see what someone else can offer in that position.
  7. Oh yes, there'll be no way she'll avoid it
  8. She's away in Korea at the mo, needless to say she has a few messages to greet her when she wakes up
  9. A relatively close game for BigAl. DM has said that he will play a side that should be strong enough to win on Wednesday as Ayr are a decent enough side and can (hopefully won't) cause an upset. Could really do with a good cup victory to start the season. Out Work Hopefully listening online Flat 2-1 Dons, Stockley and Storey
  10. Yes, they were commenting about that on the weekend. It's really frustrating! Team GB have been quite representative of being British at the moment, a bit underwhelming. It's pretty much always the case after a home games is it not? Enjoyed what I've seen so far anyway, and Japan beat NZ in the 7's
  11. I know it was the first game of the season, but over 3,000 dons fans there yesterday. That is impressive.
  12. There is a definite focus on British athletes, but you're able to watch live coverage of basically every sport on the BBC red button. I presume it's because the aussies aren't very good anymore Glad to read the cyclist is at least conscious, was surprised at the lack of edge protection, the size of those kerbs Some swim by Peaty too. absolutely smashed it!
  13. Aye, that's what I thought. Who in the right mind would play a jumped up kid ahead of one of the best Midfielders in recent times!?! He and his agents were fannies. Rightly punted.
  14. I always thought he left because he couldn't hack that he wouldn't play ahead of Scholes?
  15. Have they said how she is!?! That was absolutely horrific, never seen a crash like it.
  16. I've been impressed with what I've seen of him, certainly a massive improvement on brown and the other imposters pre and post ward.
  17. From what I've seen of burns (very little in fairness) it seems he's trying too hard to impress. Missed the game today, but sounds like he did all the hard work apart from.the final ball. Have no doubt he'll come good and most importantly, a clean sheet against a team we fair badly against.
  18. Thanks for stepping Jute was out all day yesterday! Think it's quite clear consi and Reynolds doesn't work, so I am really hoping to see o'connor there. Would have. Been nice to see it tested before, but maybe it has been in the closed door feidnlies. Oot Cycling to Brighton Brighton Train back to London 1-1, rooney
  19. Equally stunned that the first club was Oldham, a club who were happy to leave Rooney go In fairness, it's probably better to have a bit of pace and plenty of strength in that league, which is what josher has.
  20. Brilliant news, just what we needed after last nights result
  21. See, I'd actually disagree with most of what he said. It reeks of big headedness and delusions of grandeur due to his likely association. To talk teams down from yes, a smaller league, is condescending but what I would expect from the Scottish football media and management circles. They've clearly no idea. Slovenia, have qualified for major football tournaments, where we have not. Their teams regularly compete in both champions league / Europa League so again, his comments are wide of the mark. We had our own failures this campaign, but his previous article which said our attempts over the past few years in Europe were pathetic is frankly ridiculous. I'd have agreed if he'd said the previous two seasons we'd done some work to change that, but no. The days of Scottish football teams expecting to walk through European qualification went long ago and even England, where they spunk billions on their teams, suffer humiliating defeats. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs their head examined. These countries are catching up. I will agree with this though:
  22. http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/football/14665202.Neil_Cameron___How_did_we_get_so_low_that_losing_to_Slovenian_opposition_has_become_the_norm_/?ref=rss This guy is fast becoming one of my least favourite journalists in Scotland. Cretin.
  23. Apparently not, only missed 4 in his career: http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-rooney/elfmetertore/spieler/37773/saison_id//wettbewerb_id//plus/1#verschossen
  24. Strikers: Rooney 2 Burns 1 Stockley 1 Midfielders: Hayes 1 McGinn 1 Defenders: Logan 1
