  1. Didn't have the volume on in our pub, presume he disagreed? Deserved 3 points, was pleased that the crosses that were being put in were for the right player (stockley). Was clearly not the right strategy for Rooney, wasn't get any luck at all, maddison was very impressive
  2. Shame bobby! Good luck though I see Shinnie has been passed fit, massive boost that!
  3. Some of the stories flying about were hilarious. Just hope it doesn't turn his stuttering form around!
  4. McGinn is in the paper today saying much as we've all been saying, they need to get back to basics for the game against Dundee. Although I was surprised he mentioned the confidence had taken a dent but hopefully they pull out a performance. Big week coming up for DM, one which could define our season in all honesty. We should have enough to see Dundee off and sounds like Shinnie should be ok for it. Hopefully there will be a big crowd down for it, although I see Dundee have been charging the away fans more than the home fans?!? Surely that is illegal nowadays? In / out: Out Prematch: Hungover and recovering from a DT wedding Match: The Rock, Bobby, are they still showing football there? Post match: Train back to London Prediction: 2-1, Rooney and Madisson Game is live on SS2 I believe.
  5. Good post. I guess a couple of others have touched upon it, it's not a case of if this form continues we give him the dunt, no one really wants that, it's more a question of accountability for what most people can see is wrong. We've failed to get the central midfielder we've required for the past 3 transfer windows which has finally caught up with us this season with flood leaving and Robson retiring. The Jack injury has merely exacerbated the problem. Questions should be asked of someone if they are under performing and at the moment, that is both the team and the manager. Getting back to basics and having faith in his team is what he has to do, but the question would be why hasn't he done that already since our form has been the same since March? We have the squad to play 4-4-2, we should use it imo. Probably the line up tlg suggests above.
  6. Nice victory nonetheless!
  7. Read Natural Born Heroes recently, thoroughly enjoyable read. About WW2 (mainly Crete) and the history of Parkour

Tom will probably enjoy this, having been there himself, but Hunt for the Wilder People was fucking hilarious Recommend watching Boy and What we do in the shadows first (same guys as flight of the conchords) as there are some specific references that won't make sense otherwise.
  9. Think the problem is, everyone has got complacent and comfortable at the club. Players know they're going to be playing week in week out, regardless of form or mistakes. Primarily because we still don't have a plan b. I think you make a good point, if not then, when do we start this discussion? Honeymoon period is well and truly over and what is frustrating is that he appears unable to learn from his mistakes. The failings are there for all to see, why can't he? Lose the huns game and I think there will be a noticeable change in the feeling towards him. I really hope that it doesn't go down this route. Not sure I quite agree, our form has been horrific since about what, late March? So I wouldnt say that it's hysterical at all. A bit premature, yes, but as Bobby says, when do you start having that discussion? Finishing second last season isn't really something to brag about, especially with that Celtic team and manager. We even nearly tried to fuck that up. We've started as we finished. Very poorly imo. P.s. welcome aboard
  10. I had a similar irrational thought whilst drunk on the weekend but dismissed it as that. Regardless though, he seriously needs to buck up his ideas, we've stalled, no longer coasting and in serious danger of going backwards. It's not like there are straws to clutch hold of at the moment.
  11. Some start to his leipzig career, Burke sets up the winner against dortmund
  12. Really have gone backwards this season. 3 shots at home?!? How was maddison? What happened with Shinnie?
  13. We can but hope. Highlights of the game on alba tonight
  14. I know, but you get my point. The city have clearly got a long history with both clubs and sees their benefits. It's really that simple.
  15. Really hope we can get our season going with this one. Theyre not on a good run of form, hopefully we'll see our attackers in full flow. Massive boost having Hayes back. Out Family birthday lunch As above Pub 2-0 dons, Rooney and hayes
  16. The mayor added: “Both clubs are crucially important to the city. As in London and Manchester they bring an economic development in terms of jobs, visitors and tourism. Everton, in terms of the partnership we’ve got, is as strong as ever. I am really positive we will be able to announce in a couple of months what we are doing with the club. I am confident there will be something for Evertonians – a new stadium as good as this.” The above is from Liverpools mayor. Such refreshing words where a council recognises the importance of football in a city. Shame the same can't be said for Aberdeen.
  17. Nice watch, thanks for sharing!
  18. Been a while since we've heard it but I knew it would be trotted out after this transfer window:
  19. Absolute bargain, hopefully encourage a few more along. Is this game on tv as well?
