  1. Thought you might. Must have enjoyed watching the spurs OG going in the other day?
  2. It goes without saying, despite my prediction, we really need to win this one. We could be quite fortunate in that hibs and hearts are playing killie and the huns respectively. But as Jute said, a week and half before the semi against the dhims, we really need to find some confidence. Shame we're playing at home this week.
  3. Mate of mine watching said cazorla was incredible. Surprising given his age and injury history
  4. I think May has forgotten how to be a striker, but he was doing a job and getting the best out of Cosgrove. Can't see much positive coming from this game, we'll be lucky to get a draw, especially given our horrific home form. Will try to catch some of it, handy having midweek games, good for the time zone! Out Bed Work Work 1-3, Lowe 8,905
  5. Linked with the huns today, dare I say it, he'd do well there as I'm sure they'd deploy him correctly again. For one reason or another, he doesn't fit out club and deek has no idea how to get the best of him.
  6. That's quite depressing, I didn't actually think I was being too optimistic at the start of the season
  7. Haha right you are, I could have sworn I read it as restaurants in Aberdeen. Fuck knows where I read that though
  8. I'd say the race for fourth is on tc, dont think we have tactical know how or quality to finish higher. I wonder if milne would accept a 6th place finish or dm will do the right thing and piss off this summer? Apathy is huge amongst our support these days.
  9. Seemed like an odd amount to invest I thought, but we need money and those are the type that can provide it.
  10. Off to Cuba Dupa here in Wellington today. Usually a street party with loads of street performers, stalls and stages, but due to lack of police numbers post Christchurch shooting, they've had to bring it to venues instead. Organisers were in a lose - lose situation imo. Although, I don't think anything would have happened, they'd have been castigated if something had. Especially after the festival last week where they had to evacuate after a guy was behaving suspiciously.

    Films

Watched Captain Marvel last night. Enjoyable film. I think my one criticism was that they should have had someone other than an attractive blonde white american playing the role. I get that's what the character was based on, but how about moving with the times?
  12. We're pretty blessed for restaurants here in Welly. For a small city, the percentage of good quality restaurants is really good. Maybe we should change the thread title to encompass everywhere?
  13. As TC mentioned in the fitba thread, anything but a win is making life very difficult for ourselves tomorrow. Probably the worst place to have to go and try to get a win mind. They're expecting a big crowd for the rugby, so imagine the local boozers will be busy.

  15. Glad to hear you're making progress mbt, keep it up
  16. Think this is the problem with hearts, have a tendancy to make you drop to their shithouse ways. Just hope we find a way to break them down.
  17. Didn't see many, apart from in the away end? Attendance figures for holland games dropped big time for a while (whilst they were shite), but seem to be picking up again. UEFA really do need to clamp down on the countries that have racism issues. Disgusting what the black England players had to deal with in Macedonia. It's fucking 2019.
  18. Aye, was surprised to see it was only DM that backed him up. Awful management from McLeish.
  19. What a game! Shame about the result, but end to end stuff.
  20. Cracking game so far, really open. Dutch seem as clueless as the Germans did in the last game, but could easily be up. Neuer lucky that both of babels shots were straight at him.
  21. Ned about to take on ze Germans, hopefully lives up to the last one!
  22. We return to the pink cowshed on Sat. Obviously, i'm quite pleased this is an away fixture given our home form is horrific, despite it being a pretty bad place for us to go. Haven't won there since 2016, but neither team is in particularly great form so will be a typically tight game. Hopefully Shinnie will put his scotland performance behind him (I know we play San Marino tomorrow) and takes the game by the scruff of the neck. Really need a result here especially with Killie playing the accies and the bigots playing each other. Out town post nix game Bed Bed 1-1, May
  23. No issues with him getting a deal. Has worked hard and certainly been one of the better performers of late. I wouldn't want him to be the quality we're going to see for a first teamer, but he's certainly worth having on the bench.
  24. Fair comment Rico, if it's a tactic and it works, fair enough. Although, I'd be concerned if he suddenly "found form", got a deal, then reverted.
  25. FFS. Might start the next match thread on the weekend to save everyone's sanity. And keep Jute happy
