We return to the pink cowshed on Sat. Obviously, i'm quite pleased this is an away fixture given our home form is horrific, despite it being a pretty bad place for us to go. Haven't won there since 2016, but neither team is in particularly great form so will be a typically tight game. Hopefully Shinnie will put his scotland performance behind him (I know we play San Marino tomorrow) and takes the game by the scruff of the neck. No issues with him getting a deal. Has worked hard and certainly been one of the better performers of late. I wouldn't want him to be the quality we're going to see for a first teamer, but he's certainly worth having on the bench.

Fair comment Rico, if it's a tactic and it works, fair enough. Although, I'd be concerned if he suddenly "found form", got a deal, then reverted.

Pretty much how I feel. I like dm but he's continuously reduced the quality of the squad over the past 2 - 3 seasons. We're far too predictable and he's not been able to break teams down when they sit in. It's not like it's a new tactic teams ar deploying, he's just unable to counter it. I think ricos hit it on the head we're just not a very good football team.

What is it with our home form this year? Are they expecting to rock up and beat teams with zero effort ? Massively concerning and has probably ended our push for second, and most frustratingly, due to failing to beat the smaller teams.

Agree with that. Cosgrove plays better with someone beside him, the fact that it was may is kinda irrelevant because he just needs someone along side him. On the game, have to say, I thought we played pretty poorly, (from the 20 mins of REDTV highlights). Could have and probably should have scored more but then again, the huns should have put a few more of those chances away. They sliced through our midfield and defence with absolute ease. The chance where morelos got booked for diving, I think consi was lucky there. Had his arms all over him, regardless of the dive. Another player might have got the pen. Consi's missed header towards the end was bad, but I also think mckenna should have put it away. Still, way better than midweek, although it'd be hard not to improve on that shit fest. Glad we're still in this, hopefully they remember there is nothing to fear down at snake mountain.

Thing which really frustrated me was that we could actually have got a result from that. We hit the post, the bar, and couple of other really good chances that should have been in the back of the net. I'm not saying we deserved it mind, but that made the defeat all the worse to take. But generally, that was horrific. Fair play to Hamilton, deserved it.

Some goal from Hamilton, although Consi shouldn't have let him have a go at it. Seemed to assume the ball was going out. We've had our fair amount of chances but just not able to put them away. Stewart really unlucky with his header against the post.

Lowe off injured Not playing particularly well. We had one excellent chance, but Shinnie took it instead of leaving it. Would have been a certain goal
