So you all know, i've moved the other stuff into the rebuilding topic as it wasn't really relevant to the semi loss.
-
Started the second series. As you said, original and stupid in places, but we're enjoying it. Watched the first episode of the final series of GOT tonight. Glad to have it back!
-
Fuck me, season effectively over as it's highly doubtful we'll get second. I was amazed to see how many people were predicting us to win, but I didn't see a 3-0 happening.
-
GAME DAY . GET RIGHT FUCKING INTO THEM! :ultras:
-
Well someone had to say it!

Le Fondre knows where the goal is and scores plenty of decent goals in the aleague. Hell, i'd happily see him go back to the UK and leave those blue bastards. Remember him being good at Reading too.

Many going to the shed is red pre party?

Excellent post

So obviously with Shinniesta out, it's going to be quite interesting to see how we line up. Seen any number of versions of possible line ups on twitter, most of which I hope don't come to fruition. I think we have to play May and Cosgrove together, May got the best out of cosgrove and we seemed to click a bit more. i'm guessing Gleeson will be alongside Ferguson, although could DM put ball there? Huge game, our season pretty much hinges on this game now. It's a shite time for me so will have to miss it, hopefully wake to a good result on the Monday morn. Celtic aren't all that, but really depends how we set up and if DM has his tactical block again. Out Bed Bed Work 2-0 tims, no dons scorer

Agree with most of what you've written, pretty much how I was viewing things before I'd commented. But the bit in bold, certainly felt like that with the striker situation and why we ended up with May instead of moult. But i'd question the spending of 400k on May in the first place. Think he (DM) probably deserves a window with a proper budget to see what he can do, but again, we'll probably fall short, and so will DM.

Held off from commenting on this thread for a while. Wanted to have a proper think of what has annoyed me this season. If we thought last summer was a big one, this one is huge. DM hasn't shown he's got the knowledge or creativity to do what is needed. There are so many holes across the board that now need to be filled that it almost makes it impossible to maintain the level we've been used to. Of course it remains to be seen if he'll be here next season too. We need another forward, that most certainly is not Wilson. We need two central midfielders (creative and enforcer that shinnie has been doing) and at least one winger. I'd like to see Lowe re-sign (obviously, on loan or permanently) and get another RB. Logan has been unreliable at best over the past couple of seasons. Love him as a player and a character, but really don't know if his hearts in it anymore. Not sure if we'll see McKenna go this summer, he's hardly set the heather alight since Jan. A lot of basic errors, which are probably down to inexperience. There's talent there, but I think we'd be extremely lucky to see £5m for him. I agree with KNS, got to be a no to Hoban. No doubting his ability but we really can't afford to have someone who is made of glass. Costs us a fortune. If Shinnie does go to Derby, I wish him well. We'll miss his drive and passion massively next season. I'd much rather he go there than anywhere else in Scotland. He's better than Wigan. Still not sure if I have confidence in DM to do what's necessary. Time will tell I guess.

Got back in from the stag in time to catch some of the first half, well, until Red TV decided to have technical issues. Watched the full highlights this morning in a hangover haze, can't say it eased it all. We weren't great, but the game itself was pretty poor. Connor did well for the second goal, not sure how he managed to weave through. Stewart didn't look interested at all, how he lasted the game is beyond me. Important 3 points, especially with Killie getting a result. Hopefully the huns lose today.
-
Absolutely. I don't think it's done and dusted, tyrant. You've the easier run in, although some of the man United fans I know would prefer to let City have the title than your mob. Purely because you haven't ever won the Premier league. Few twists left I reckon, could make for an exciting end of season.

Last game before the semi next weekend, so really need to build upon the good result against Motherwell. They're in pretty dire form themselves, with no win since mid feb. Given shinnie's absence in the semi, do we try the system we'll be forced to play against the tims? We still need 3 points, each game is a must win to ensure we're not caught. Out Stag Bed Bed 2-0 dons, Cosgrove and McGinn
-
The stands seemed reasonably busy, apart from the upper rds and away end, but it's hard to tell on TV. But not sure it was that full
-
I'd agree with that, Shinnie was a beast in midfield today, and i'd actually forgotten he'd be missing for the semi Huge 3 points, can't believe it's taken us this long to get our first home win of 2019. Was also surprised by the crowd, over 13k which was impressive given what redtv were describing the earlier weather and the apathy around the club at the mo.
-
Superb finish from McGinn for the third! Thank fuck for that, a home win!
-
Stewart with the shot and McGinn pounces on the rebound. Thank fuck, let's not screw this up now.
-
Shite second half so far
-
Easy equaliser for 'Well, but it was a composed finish too. We started really well, although neither team were really able to hold possession

Waiting for this to come out over here. Enjoyed the previous series. Started watching the OA on Netflix, bizarre series that i'm not sure about yet, but interesting nonetheless. Looking forward to stranger things / handmaids tale and of GOT coming out this year.

Sorry, only just seen this thread. I've not got much experience in pre-fab homes and only ever heard / seen results of the huf-haus - which seemed to be extremely expensive and not necessarily to everyone's tastes. https://www.huf-haus.com/en-uk/ Quite a few CLT homes went up in London and it's a technology I've worked with, in commercial buildings. It's brilliant. Heb house looks quite interesting. Building your own home takes a lot of effort and determination, I know a friend who is embarking on it on the isle of Skye somewhere, but i don't think he's in a rush. Have you had many discussions with pre-fab home suppliers, or indeed engaged an architect to suss out your options? Would be interesting to know how much user input could be put into their process. From my experience here when we were working on a pre-fab project, our client seemed relatively limited. I.e. they had a box and the bespoke design came from the size / cladding.

Thought you might. Must have enjoyed watching the spurs OG going in the other day?
-
It goes without saying, despite my prediction, we really need to win this one. We could be quite fortunate in that hibs and hearts are playing killie and the huns respectively. But as Jute said, a week and half before the semi against the dhims, we really need to find some confidence. Shame we're playing at home this week.

Mate of mine watching said cazorla was incredible. Surprising given his age and injury history
