My first game since Celtic in December - I really need to start going to Pittodrie more often as at least we seem to play some decent football at home. Shambles really - very poor in possession throughout the game, some of the passes to a red shirt were abysmal. Tbh when you look at both midfield line ups we were always gonna struggle but very disappointing nonetheless to witness such an abject lacklustre display from so many of the players. No chance we were ever getting back into game once Hibs scored. Someone mentioned that we have been flattering to deceive and I totally agree. The issues we have in midfield and defence are starting to haunt us. Not sure how I felt about the young lad - he did look a bit like a headless chicken at times but then so did half his team mates Celtic next week will be murder with that line up but thankfully Shinnie is back for Killie.

Just finished The Comet Seekers by Helen Sedgwick - it was very good and now reading How to Stop Time by Matt Haig - both actually involve history & romance so dunno why I read them back to back

Em I dunno if I liked it or not tbh. Bit like a documentary with not much of a story ( which I kind of think was the point) wee girl was excellent and story is actually v sad so I can see why it's been hyped up but maybe not my fav Molly's Game is excellent

I'm going to The Florida Project tomorrow then The Death of Stalin and maybe Film Stars don't Die in Liverpool next week Lat week I saw Call Me By Your Name - very much hyped and rave reviews but I didn't really see what the fuss was all about - wasn't overly taken with one of the main characters - would maybe not have gone if I had seen a trailer

I actually feel better about this now that I did walking back to the car on Thursday night. A settled team for the next few games is a necessity We may to put up with a few frustrating performances until we get a balance that works - most of us wouldn't have started with the players that McInnes put out but also we need to support the team when the heads go down - we didn't add anything as fans to the atmosphere on Thursday by haranguing them pretty much from kickoff Yes it was frustrating as fuck to watch and it is absolutely dire to be out of the cup but a win today and we're tucked in just 2 points off 1st place COYR
