  1. Some points that haven't been mentioned, Broadfoot's challenge in the second half was possibly the worst I've seen all season, Boyd not getting booked for running into the crowd when he scored their 2nd, Dufc being denied the most blatant penalty ever, and Chico 'St Mirren' Young hugging Boyd on Live television as the Huns did their lap of honour. Young also said his mate 'wee Durranty' had said extra time was all Rangers needed. Also the huns fans were very quiet throughout, until they scored, when they burst into three verses of 'The Derry walls'. Is that not one of the 'so-called' unacceptable songs? I hate the cunts.
  2. I've got a feeling we might sneak a draw tomorrow.
  3. Worse actually. It was Charlie Allan.
  4. Will they award us a three nil victory? If so we should let young MaGuire claim a hatrick to get his stats up a wee bit.
  5. I think we've got enough in our locker.
  6. He meant Nicholas was talking out of his Arsenal.
  7. The fans should also be turning their backs on the EE, Charlie Allan's "VILLAIN" article about Steve Lovell in yesterday's paper was shocking. Well done Seve and the boys, hopefully this will help them get fired up for tomorrow.
  8. Even Radio Scotland were touting Berra for an International call-up tonight, talking about Dailly and Berra possibly being International team mates. What the Feck! 0-4 though...
  9. Good shout. He's got to be better than Lee Mair.
  10. Probably 10 times what we could offer. He's available as an 'emergency' loan player. Somebody call the cops quick, I'd love to have him at Pittodrie for the rest of the season.
  11. I've said it before but to bring Maguire on and leave Lovell on the bench is madness, under any circumstances. Maguire has only played so often because of Jimmy's petty dislike for Steve Lovell. It's pathetic.
  12. Even if they get injured they can still sit on the sideline and join in with the banter, that's the most important thing.
  13. I'm just sitting here with a glass of wine reading through this excellent thread. This is the life.
  14. Cant Jimmy see we need a clever player at the back to play beside Zander? Wilson is a buffoon.
  15. For example, the train journey, the warm up, the teams coming out, and the first half. And I'm nae joking.
  16. We seem to have got into a cycle of bringing in pish players in the January window and letting them leave again at the end of the season, people like McFarlane and Duff were never going to improve the results or the product on the park. Derek Young has been ok-ish, but many of Jimmy's signings have been bewildering. As said above, if ten (or possibly more) of the names mentioned leave, it's an admission of failure by Jimmy because he signed each and every one of the feckers. Steve Lovell is ten times the player Chris Maguire is, yet Lovell will be moved on and Maguire will stay. This is the thing that pisses me off most, makes you wonder about Jimmy's man-management skills.
  17. Even I'm struggling to put a positive spin on recent events. Hello y'all, had a great trip to Germany - everything apart from the result was spot on. Yesterday's result was again unacceptable, we look shambolic and some of the decision making seems to be born out of sheer desperation. We need to get back to basics and sort this mess out, as a season that promised so much is quickly becoming a fecking nightmare. Only one chance left now to salvage something from season 07-08, we must beat Celtic in the Scottish cup and reach Hampden. Nothing less will do. Finishing in the top six is still possible, but it's not enough to appease the fans who've just started getting used to top 4 status. I'd take sixth in the league now and a trip to Hampden, but looking at our squad and the way we're leaking goals it doesn't seem very likely. I'm proud of our UEFA cup run, and like the rest of you will continue to support the lads through the good times and bad. But I want to see something silver being held aloft on an open top bus on Union Street, it's a sight that's long overdue.
  18. I think Celtic are probably a better side than Bayern just now, especially with the players our German friends have missing. I said in a thread earlier that 0-0 was optimistic, but I think that's possible and it would be a great result to take over there. We just need Jimmy to deliver a rousing pre-match team talk about how these feckers bombed our chippie.
  19. Look at the feckin' draw... Aberdeen v Celtic Hibernian/Rangers v Partick Queen of South v Dundee St Johnstone v St Mirren ... the Celtic game if huge now. I know it's a long shot but stranger things have happened. There are upsets in various leagues / cups every week, and the quarter final against the tims would be a good time for us to produce one. Get past this one and our name's as good as on the cup. Bigger fish to fry at the moment though, I'm warming up for giving those Bayern boys a footballing lesson tomorrow with a bottle of Russian Standard vodka. Hic!
  20. Dont worry Bilbo, you're a great lad to have about the place.
  21. Ottmar Hitzfeld will be gutted. Aparently Van Bommell is a great lad to have about the place.
  22. Well these pictures have warmed me up nicely for tomorrow, I've got that pre-match tingling feeling now. Bring it on. The outrageous optimism starts here. I fancy a battling nil nil draw.
  23. How did teams get through a whole season using so few players back then? I know Kennedy got injured that season, but most those boys were almost ever-present. Are players just a bunch of fanny's these days?
