I think Considine has more chance of making it than Maguire. Young Chris is full of energy, puts in a bit of effort, there's no doubt he has a bit of talent, but he has no strength and is seriously out of his depth against most defenders in the SPL. He doesn't score goals, rarely comes close to scoring goals, and defenders must love playing against him. Plus our long ball tactics don't suit him at all. I've said it before, please don't tell me we're pinning our hopes on this kid? Still have a wee feeling Considine will develop into a solid defender as he matures, all the qualities are there, but I dont think he's the right man to partner Diamond at centre back. They're both too similar.

Just watched the highlights on the bbc website there, and I've got to say the ref probably got one big decision right, and one wrong. Miller does look marginally offside, and the wee Lithuanian cheat looked like he maybe was fouled in the box. Sorry if that's me pissing on everyone's chips, but that's the way I see it. At the time, I thought no pen and onside, but I didn't have the best seat (rds upper) for making a definitive call on either of the big talking points. Also I was raging at Duff last night, but now think he was a wee bit unlucky. I'd be a shite ref.

I think we sometimes only do it when we really have to, at times we seem to just go through the motions. We do look great when it's all out attack, Rangers last May, 2nd half against Copenhagen, Tuesday night. Fingers crossed for more of the same tomorrow.

Scott Wilson is an absolute cretin, I had the misfortune of meeting him once and would be delighted if our paths never cross again. Many years ago in Prague Jamie Buchan (then an Aberdeen player) got badly injured playing for the Scotland under 21 side. Myself and some other concerned dandies met Wilson (also playing for the U21's) in a bar and asked about Jamies injury, only for the (very) drunk Wilson to push past us and ignore the question. Why has everything got to be such a feckin drama in this country? Other cities around Europe have needed new stadia, planning gets done, stadium gets built, bobs your uncle. What a fucking carry on. For me Hart's defensive capabilities are not in any doubt, just his ability to put in good crosses. Our defence needs to be solid. Can anyone remember what the spl prize money is, does it not increase about 200k per position in the league? I say keep him until May. Unless a suitable replacement can be sourced.
