  1. Primary 9? I don't know if he can read, but he is a huge fan.
  2. I have to admit I'm not particularly familiar with the work of Mr SeeBass, but I know minijc is a huge fan.
  3. Dear mileenddon, Mr SeeBass is a much celebrated, highly rated author in these parts, and often likes to tease us donstalkers with a cheeky glimpse of his forth-coming publications. However on this occasion it sounds shite. Hope that helps. Christian the Slater.
  4. Only found out about this 10 minutes ago, unbelievable. I hope Kerr isn't too badly hurt, although it doesn't sound good. Think we should reserve judgement on the rights and wrongs of players going for nights out until the full facts of this become clear. Obviously it's frustrating that it's happened so soon before a big game, but let's not use it as an excuse to throw the towel in. It's also worth remembering that a huge majority of bouncers are wankers. Trying to find a positive in all this, maybe the boys will be more fired up as a result of it all, and we're almost certainly underdogs now which is never a bad place for the dons to be.
  5. I think the huns will win, and I'm hoping for a storming 90 minutes from the dons at Pittodrie like we had against Rangers in 2007. Big crowd, everything to play for, I'm feeling confident. Bring them on.
  6. Two draws against the huns and one win against Celtic = 5 points. I think.
  7. It was the correct decision to send him off, classic over the ball challenge, studs up, he had to go. I'm amazed the huns are acting so hard done by. I hate the feckers.
  8. Kyle Lafferty is welcome to play against Utd next Sunday and (hopefully) grab a goal against them. I hope they lose out on goal difference in the title race by a single goal, that would be nice. This fucking cretin can wait until next season, but what happened today wont be forgotten by any Scottish football fans, especially in Aberdeen. He'll get what he fucking deserves. Hopefully from Charlie Mulgrew.

    Tonights tipple

And soup. I'm pouring my own vodkas in between trips to the hotel bar just now. Home measures of Smirnoff and proper pints of tennents, sweet.
  10. The world was a longer place back then.
  11. I heard he's a bit of an Aerosol.
  12. I'm still holding out for third. A long overdue win for us at Ibrox, Hearts and Utd draw at Tynecastle. We pump hibs on the last day while the OF take care of the other two. Home and dry, dust off the passport, GIRFUY ya dundee minks. Easy.
  13. I was right behind the goals for the penalties, but I dont remember much about it because I was very young. I think the previous 2 posts above are from people much older than me.
  14. He looked like he was desperate to impress tonight, so much so he maybe wasn't quite fit enough to be playing. Hence another bad looking hamstring injury. I really wish he'd had more luck during his time here.
  15. Really frustrating evening, we are absolutely streets ahead of Hearts in terms of quality and it's little wonder that a couple of talented footballers (Vidal and Aluko) stood out against a team of cloggers who were intent on spoiling the game. Severin was magnificent. Macdonald put in a good shift, as did Smith, Miller and Foster. As said above a goal would have been very satisfying but it was not to be. We should be proud of the effort our lads put in though, there are plenty of positives to take from this game. I detest Hearts. They were a disgrace tonight, as they were in December. A team of bullies, cheats, actors and con-men.
  16. Cheers for brightening up my day with a bit of much needed optimism Ajja, we can still do this. In fact, I'll settle for winning our last 3 matches and finishing in 3rd. Ta.
  17. Is there a funnier sight in football than an irate Michael Ballack? You've got to laugh.
  18. I had mild sympathy for Chelsea until the end, when Drogba's antics made me want a celebratory drink. The irony of him shouting at a live TV broadcast "Fucking disgrace!", whilst knowing full well thousands of schoolkids who idolise him are watching on. What a clown. My kids got a giggle out of it. My hatred for the man increased considerably.
  19. That's devotion for ya. Just as well we're not that emotional here in the NE of Scotland, there'd be nae dandies left.
  20. They said during commentary that only mistaken identity could be appealed. Maybe Darren Fletcher could claim Joey Barton did it?
  21. These things happen, pity it was Fletcher, he seems like a nice guy. Tbh honest, I didn't think there was that much wrong with Adebayors tackle either, bit reckless but yellow was correct decision imho opinion.
  22. I'd suggest some middle ground, if he is that happy here (and I know for a fact that what he says in that statement about 'family being really settled' is true) maybe he'd be happy to sign a new contract on more realistic terms. He is one of the big earners, maybe a reduced contract with certain bonuses written in for x amount of games would be more appropriate. We cant be paying big salaries to people that are never fit, but by the same token we can ill afford to loose one of our (potentially) biggest assets.

    Andy Murray

    11th May? Rings a bell...
  24. On the issue of Bars etc, what's the chances of the club spotting this gap in the market and having a licensed premesis of their own open on matchdays? Money for old rope. Mind you, this is afc we're talking about.
