    Introductions

Wait until you meet some of the retards on here. Welcome aboard squire.
  2. We've been here before, players bullshitting about 'maybe' staying, when all they're really doing is trying to keep the fans off their backs. He's offski. I've been a big seve fan since he signed and I think it's unlikely we'll be able to replace him with a player of equal quality, but the truth is he's not the player we had 3 seasons ago and if his heart's not in it he might as well move on. Cheers for the good times Scott.

They probably just need to reboot him.
  4. Alaways good to see gazza making a cunt of himself. He's making a top job of it tonight.

    Tonights tipple

I think you may have gone a bit over the top Jager. 18 tins of diet coke?
  6. Obviously the strength of the protest will be greater if we have yet another bad result on Saturday - many fans might feel like joining in. But if we win I can see it being a complete non-event. The players will know this, and hopefully they can put ICT away in some style.
  7. I'm sure the protesters will be delighted when we parade Bobby Williamson as our new manager.
  8. I'm Adam and so is my wife. (and she's a feckin' minger) FREE THE DONSTALK 1!

I think I'd be more than happy if we had a cup semi (and possibly a final) to look forward to. Our league form has been poor yet we're still in the mix for Europe, obviously because the standard of football in the spl has been rotten this season. I can live with that. That Dunfermline result was the real body blow.

We're hanging in there, pipping Utd to fourth spot would at least be some consolation from a relatively poor season.
  11. Do you think Jimmy's getting cold feet?
  12. Bond only operate 332L2's and EC225's from Aberdeen, both Eurocopter Super puma family. BP have said they won't use Bond for the forseeable future, but there is nothing stopping the operator flying the machines.
  13. If this happens, I'm organising a protest. In Archie Simpsons. Then on to Blackfriars probably. Mods can you email everyone about this please?
  14. As another famous Willie once famously said... What a bunch of fucking plebs. Don't ever email me with such shite ever again. and
  15. Chat room anyone?
  16. Same operator again.

    I'd sh.......maybe not.
  18. Unlike when Alex Ferguson was manager, because winters were much milder back then, and he had the best facilities in the country to work in. I think players nowadays are just a bunch of fannies. Training indoors shouldn't be a problem, don't they use the 'strikers' place at BOD in bad weather? Decent surface, and they can practise all the ball skills they like in there. I don't want to hear fecking excuses Jimmy, just get on with it.
  19. 9. The decision to bring Sandy Clark and Jackie Macnamara to the club.
  20. 12. Maintaining top six status despite being forced to sell several top team regulars. 13. Knocking Celtic out of last seasons Scottish cup.

I suppose you could call it a fluke. Still, they all count.
  22. Who said that then? As for a cup final being the next step, it would be the next step as in 'a step further than we've managed in almost a decade of trying'. Qualifying for Europe is an achievement, it's a huge achievement, increased revenue, trips abroad, the lure of European football possibly attracting better players to the club. Football is not all about winning things, it's the ultimate goal, it's what we should want at the beggining of every season, but it's not just about winning things. It's the 'Football is all about winning things' attitude that causes thousands of North East school children to follow the fortunes of the Old Firm, Man Utd or Chelsea instead of their local club. We all want to see the dons win a cup, it's our only realistic chance of winning anything. But we've also got to be realistic. There is no excuse for the cup disappointments over the past few seasons, I think we're all really feeling it this week.
  23. Whilst it's not my wish to see him go, I agree that as a consequence of tonights result he probably will. I think the Board may be forced into a decision, if not tomorrow, then certainly at the end of the season. I would just advise the JMG ers to prepare themselves for further disappointment when they find out who the next manager will be. We're not in a position to atract top class managers. Whoever it is will no doubt be a 'clueless buffoon' before he gets a chance to find his feet.
  24. Look where the good football got them mate. Sorry to buck the trend here, and I am as gutted/angry/despondent/bewildered as all the other posters tonight, but while setbacks like this are unbearably painfull - the name of the game for football clubs these days is survival. With Jimmy Calderwood at the helm we'll survive, ocassional highs punctuated with terrible lows, padded out by weeks and weeks of mediocrity inbetween. Taking in a new manager may ease the pain for an (undoubtedly growing) number of disgruntled dons fans, but will certainly not guarantee any improvement of the product on the pitch, or indeed the prospects of winning any silverware. Maybe now is the time for a change, but there's a good chance we'll be no better off for it. No matter how often this shite happens, it doesn't get any easier does it.
