  1. My instinct said... Alex Smith Calderwood W Miller Porterfield Skovdahl Aitken A Miller Paterson With more consideration and research the middle 5 or 6 could easily be changed around.
  2. Latest is that the machine stayed upright through the night (minus the tail section which presumably came off during the impact), overturned at some point this morning, and has now sunk. Think the Flight data recorder may be in the tail section, so the prority will be to recover that first. I'm loving the sky news coverage, the primary school graphics, the speculation, the sketchy details, and the 'experts' are making the whole thing laughable.
  3. 25th/26th, sweet. Cheers for that HD and ajja.
  4. Robo?
  5. Can anyone tell me the dates of the semi-final and final please? Checked the sfa website but cant find anything, not being presumptious but might need time off work.
  6. What a fucking tool, of course safety has increased. Three operators in Aberdeen launch up to 40 aircraft every day, flying more than 300 return trips a week. More people died in car crashes in Aberdeenshire yesterday than have died in helicopter accidents in the north sea in the last 10 years. Get a fucking job you like Edmund, you cock.
  7. All people on board accounted for. *unconfirmed at this time, but that's from a man who should know.
  8. I think it sounds like a crash rather than a controlled ditching, that close to the rig there would be no reason to put it down in the water unless the pilot had no control. I'm hearing it's a Bond aircraft, possibly an EC 225, approaching the Etap platform.
  9. If it's a controlled ditching they will be able to get into liferafts, ideally nobody would even get their feet wet. It's speculation until we find out if it's a ditching or a crash. BP
  10. Bond machine heading to ETAP, no news of the people on board.
  11. I ended up in the Beach end with the pars fans. It wasn't all ticket, but I remember waiting outside the South stand when the shutters came down, we ran round to the other end, hid our scarfs, and waited in a queue of very hostile Dunfermline fans. We were shitting ourselves but when the first goal went in it was obvious there were loads of dandies in there.
  12. Javan Vidal tries his new dons kit for size.
  13. Mackies goal was a cracker, Hearts first was not too shabby either. A nice wee victory over United next weekend and we're back on track. Saturday's result was a setback but we're still very much in the mix for third.
  14. Your memory must be going too ST, it was Robbie Winters who ended up in goals.
  15. Yeah i'm not sure myself, my memories going a bit now I'm approaching my thirties.
  16. Last season we won 2-0 v huns to give the Tims the title (although they did it themselves really, winning at Tannadice) Season before we won 2-0 v huns to get into Europe. Season before that (I think) we beat Hearts but not by enough of a margin to get into Europe. Of course this season we'll also have a cup final against Forfar to look forward to.
  17. Agree we need to get through the next two games with a minimum of 2 points, then we must start winning against Killie, Helen St Mirren and Hamilton. There'll be up's and down's to come though chaps, as usual it will be interesting.
  18. Sounds like it could be stoney selling it right enough. He's gonna get rid of jimmy one way or another.
  19. I'd have Mackie in my team before Maguire, without question. Derek Young and Lee Mair are both squad players, capable of doing a job if one of the first-picks is injured, but I'd imagine none of them are breaking the bank and that's why the club are happy to keep them on board. I think it was obvious these guys would be happy to stay at Pittodrie. Seve on the other hand...
  20. Grand designs is another i like to watch. Jesus, I'm old and boring.
  21. Tonights EE says 150 tickets still left. *apologies, 150 left this morning. Possibly sold out now.
  22. Agree it's becoming a bit of a chore watching lost, this flipping about in time thing just looks like padding to spin out the series, I'm desperate for something to happen that will actually move the story on a bit. It has certainly lost it's momentum. The wife watches Gray's Anatomy which is obviously only made for women, but I can tolerate it because there's a couple of decent birds in it. Other than that, the News, Question Time, and Match of the day are the only shows I make an effort to see.
  23. Hopefully they'll be so pre-occupied with their iminent Champions league knock-out games, we'll be able to go down there and take all three points.
  24. Dancing queen?
