  1. I'm avoiding reading the newspapers this weekend and for the next few days in the hope that this will somehow all disappear.
  2. Whereas we aspire to be cloggers. If only we were that good.
  3. We'll I won't be going to see any of that shite. Season ticket, they have my money but they can go and fuck themselves for my support.
  4. Its a sad reflection of the state of our team that there is not competition between the keepers to be in the team, rather competition to be dropped to the bench. They are both fucking shite. Langfield will be back in goals until he makes an arse of things again.
  5. There aren't many people I'd consider keeping at Pittodrie right now. That goes from playing staff, ground staff, 'physios', marketing and security through to management and the directors of the club. They've been treating us with utter contempt for years now, and we just accept it. Fuck off.
  6. We've been funding these cunts all season...
  7. I thought I'd resurrect this old favourite. Apparently we're skint, but John Hughes should be 'commended' for taking Falkirk into the bottom six despite the bigger bank balance of Aberdeen, who are 'skint' remember... Confused.com
  8. Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!
  9. I think the 3rd strip is terrible. Nothing unlucky about it, as we've been shite in all our strips.
  10. I find it highly hypocritical that members of our support will berate JC and the team for producing utter shite over the course of a season then claim that our league is anything else but shite. For fuck sake, which is it?
  11. Eh? I haven't mentioned my views on where the 'oil money' has gone or London-biased funding for sports facilities. Agree about the Scotsport bit though.
  12. I think the problem with Scottish Football is that us Scots are quick to blame the English for providing a better product. So what if the quality of football the EPL offers is shite? More credit to them for being able to market this 'shite' football to millions of viewers around the world through TV and thousands of fans in stadia on matchdays - making them a fortune. The problems of Scottish football are entirely that. Scottish problems. I entirely agree with the comments of BTR and glasgowsheep re: the setup of the league and (dis)organisations which govern the sport in Scotland.
  13. I'm still astonished that a player who twice inflicted such injuries on Zander remains unpunished.
  14. I'd add Aluko to the list of players who earned pass marks today. He was the only player who had the abilty to get the ball into the box from the wing, win corners or dared to take on a defender before picking a pass. Our threat from the right hand side was non-existant. Considering that in the 1st half that was the only side of the pitch which had playable grass on it then it is an opportunity missed. Mair was simply awful and is not good enough for Aberdeen FC - even his goal wasn't enough to rescue him from a terrible performance.
  15. Shame it wasn't Philip Scofield!
  16. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7306954.stm Another one bites the dust.
  17. Yaaaaaaaaasssss miiiiiinn! Cheerio tims.
  18. I want to switch it off and put it back on in 5 mins to avoid the stress, but I just can't do it! Come on you reds!
  19. Not interested in the slightest who won, and neither affects me either way. We weren't there and thats all that matters to me.
  20. Fuck off JC. We don't expect to get pumped in the manner that we have this season by the likes of Kilmarnock and Dundee Utd. If that expectation level is too high for you then feel free to collect your jotters.
  21. He is an utter cunt. But I find it hard to find much that I disagree with in his article. The thing is that there was a large section of our support during our UEFA cup run who realised what a shite squad we had, and predicted it would all fall flat on its face. I'd be interested in McNee's opinion of us during that period when we were still in with a shout on four fronts. I'd hazard a guess that he'd toe the Glasgow press line and say that Jimmy was doing 'wonderful things' up in Aberdeen and that the supporters were unappreciative and demanding too much of him. It doesn't take Stephen Hawking and an abacus to work out that a team that ships 23 goals in seven games is fucking shite.
  22. Anyone got Patrick Swayze? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7280533.stm
  23. At a number of stages in this season we have come across this run of games where we expect the points from the 'easier' teams and on every occaison we have failed to deliver. The truth is that we have no divine right to these points, and I think it is going to be an almighty scrap to get into the top six. In fact I bet many of the teams that we will be facing in the coming weeks will be glad to be playing us at the rate we are letting in goals. This time, I expect us to deliver a mixed bag as before. Rangers (A) 0pts Gretna (H) 3pts St Mirren (H) 1 pts Inverness (A) 0pts Falkirk (H) 3pts
  24. He wouldn't criticise his employers though would he? Between all the matches, scouting trips and training sessions which the players are 'flying' I'm surprised he has time to write a full page spread every week in the P&J and Daily Record. At least things are going well on the pitch...
  25. A nice wee theory, but kind of breaks down when you claim that the board are being clever. They are inept, useless clowns.
