  1. I'm glad that my last post failed after the last death as I had typed 'Sir Patrick Moore you are next'. I would have felt like thon two Australian DJs! Still, two goals in a week! Yas min! Ps Bashar Al Assad, you are next ya chemical weapon toting prick!
  2. Currently sitting in the Carribean reading through the Ian Fleming James Bond books.
  3. In Europa Lounge RDS See what happens efter 1-0 Aberdeen, defender #sclaff
  4. The Hetero Golf version is the 3.2L V6 variant. The short-of-thinking mans motor.
  5. Some very embarrassing comments on there by elected Councillors no less.
  6. No doubt she is. The glaikit hoor probably couldn't even point to Aberdeen on a map (of Aberdeen). What a monumental waste of time, effort, newsprint and thought this whole exercise has been.
  7. There is still time to bin AWPR too. FFS, will the last cunt oot please switch off the lights.
  8. I liked this bit: LAWL. I think this one could even rival the fucking tedious AWPR saga. It will be enough to keep Aberdeen Journals going anyway...
  9. Point for miniJC with Teddy Scott.
  10. FFS just concentrate on getting into the promised land of the top six first, eh?
  11. BERT LE CLOS IS A LEG-END. UN-BEL-IEVABLE!
  12. What I like about the Olympics is that there is (almost) something for everyone. I have found myself watching sports that I normally wouldn't otherwise, and learning something new about each one. Of course you could watch them any time of year if interested but there is something decent about watching professional young athletes at the pinnacle of their sport. Much more respect due to these guys rather than overpaid primadonnas who grace the EPL and the likes who think they've 'made it' because they own a Bentley. If the Olympics has the effect of even encouraging a fraction of this nations youngsters to become more active and take an interest in a 'sport' instead of becoming another generation of lardy-arsed layabouts then I'm all for it. Horse-trotting is pish though.
  13. By the mere virtue that the Olympics has given the opportunity for Lineker, Lawrenson and Savage to grace our screens for the second time this summer is reason alone not to watch this utter tosh.
  14. It is totally ludicrous. They aren't anywhere near a position where they have any bargaining power whatsoever. How about: 1. No, you can't have an SFA license as you cunts have clearly not learned any lessons and there is still too much uncertainty surrounding the leadership's (whoever they may be) credentials to be deemed 'fit and proper' to run a football club. 2. You bought the remains of the Oldco, so be prepared to be punished for the wrongdoings of the Oldco. EBTs, dual contracts, the fucking lot. 3. Don't like it? Then just fuck off you verminous shytehawks.
  15. I think this whole episode has demonstrated in a dramatic, sometimes brilliant, sometimes incredulous way that Scottish Football didn't WANT Rangers (deceased) nor Newco or anything else for that matter. No one liked them, we don't care.
  16. He wants the SFL to do the dirty work for him. SFL vote for SFL1 then the fans blame the SFL. If the SFL reject the proposals and they enter in SFL3 then he can blame them for 'financial armageddeon'. Win/Win if you are a cockwomble.
  17. Always thought the SPL chairmen were a bunch of 'yes' men. Turns out they are 'ah dinnae ken' men. Pathetic. Thats it, the game is fucked.
  18. "Well, you're not in football" I wish to fuck he was! A breath of fresh air and exactly what the sport in this country needs. Scottish football is a complete laughing stock (and probably has been for a long time). It's fucking riddled with these corrupt bams. Hiding behind "the rules" while at the same time wanting them ripped up for one so-called club. The hypocrisy is truly astounding.
  19. "Football without fans is nothing" - Jock Stein Do you think Regan and Cockwomble and the likes have ever heard this quote before? Forget about the Sky deal, As has already been stated it is highly unlikely they will walk away altogether so to base his scaremongering 'statistics' on the entire value of these contracts is well wide of the mark. Do they think it is only people who want to watch Rangers and Celtic who have Sky/ ESPN football packages? Given the strength of feeling on this issue from football fans of all clubs across all leagues in the country there WILL BE many thousands of fans who will turn away from the game here altogether should any application be dealt with in any other way than in a fair and proper manner. No-one is going to put a monetary value on that, but you can bet it blows Cockwombles £17M a season right out of the fucking water. Who will be buying Sky TV then? It's a fucking con!
  20. Restructuring is required but not like this and I have no faith in the current governing bodies to perform this whatsoever. Surely a vote of no confidence in Neil Doncaster must be on the agenda for the meeting of SPL clubs this week? Do our chairmen have the minerals to speak out against these proposals like the SFL chairmen? Or are they happy to continue into oblivion with this cuntsock at the helm?
  21. Propaganda is exactly what it is - is there anywhere we can actually read the facts about what is going on here instead from these biased hacks? Sevco 5088 Ltd cannot 'be stripped of titles won in the EBT years' as that company did not even exist then. When will they get it into their thick heads that Sevco 5088 Ltd and Rangers Football Club PLC are entirely different companies, one of which is about to be liquidated? As far as I am aware Sevco 5088 Ltd have won no titles, football matches or even have a team nor a SFA licence so talk of punishment is rather premature. All that the overhwhelming majority of Scottish football fans ask is for a fair application of the existing rules with respect to this new company and their proposed application to the football league. Nothing to do with 'jealousy', 'spitefulness' or 'settling old scores' and certainly not a Mr Traynor describes as a 'petty matter' - none of this can be considered to be a minor issue. Rangers Football Club PLC entered administration, and in keeping with SPL rules they were suitably punished with a 10 pt penalty which on the face of it was a relatively minor punishment for a team in 2nd position in the league. What followed was the appointment of administrators who probably did more damage to the club than good, however such has been the extent of financial mismanagement at the club (now subject to a criminal investigation) the only course remaining was insolvency and liquidation. That is not punishment meated out by the SPL, SFA or any other footballing governing body but merely the rules of the land and a consequence of a decade of cheating HMRC out of millions of pounds. Now they leave behind a list of hundreds of creditors, small businesses etc out of pocket for considerable amounts of money. So thats it. Rangers PLC are about to be no more, and rightly so like Gretna before them and the same for any other club which goes this way, as difficult or as painful as that may be for Scottish football. There cannot be a case of "too big to fail". So now as expected, the remnants of "Rangers Football Club" wish to start again as you'd expect any other club would wish to do. If truth be told, I have no problem with that. I might be in the minority here, but I would like to see a "Rangers" of whatever form that may be back in the SPL one day if only for the rivalry and atmosphere. However, the course for this Newco Rangers must be that which any other club would have to go through. Again, it is nothing to do with retribution - merely 'the way it is'. No favours, no byes nor special treatment - start again, work from the bottom and earn your position and credibility through sport, not votes. Maybe then, Rangers and their fans will have learned some humility and dare I say it, a small amount of respect for getting their house in order and seeing things from the other side of the poverty line. Talk of financial armageddon and 'meltdown' without any evidence whatsoever is simply scaremongering and perpetuates the myth that Scottish Football needs Rangers. If anything, I think this whole saga has shown the converse to be true. "Hell mend them" as Chick Young would say.
  22. The rest of Europe is enjoying the European championships meanwhile in Scotland the governing bodies and supposed 'guardians' of the national game are doing their best to bend over backwards to let the remnants of a club that cheated every other team in the country, local businesses and the taxpayer all in the name of 'success'. Despite what may happen from now, whether a newco club can be in such a state to play in any league next season, the fact that league restructuring is only at the top of the agenda now fucking reeks of self preservation, the the sole intention of making as much money as possible from the situation. Money, is that it? Have they learned nothing? They really don't understand the situation that Scottish football finds itself in AT ALL. Another 20 years of Footballing wilderness awaits.
