Agreed. There were some smart saves but definitely nothing that even Jamie Langfield should have struggled with. The best one, in my humble and non self-centred opinion (excellent speech by the way), was after the free kick that hit the bar when the ball was headed back towards goal and McGregor was able to get up and scramble across to claw it away. But even this one I would have expected any semi competent keeper to make. His performance was adequate and consistent.

Aye I stopped reading after that.

Just because folk have thought something for years doesn't mean that it's true. The worst part of it was that Bernie is supposedly a puppet too. I had higher hopes for him just like I have for Corbyn. The rest of that article I too have been aware of for a long time (apart from the Bikini Island thing). But seeing opinions written down on the internet will never pass as evidence. I'm not saying I don't think it's true. But I used the word "if" because I don't know for sure. And no amount of reading opinions on the internet will change that. I'm nae arguing about this non issue anymore.

FFS. Yes. If he is right. My view of the world is 99.99% less blinkered than the "sheeple" as you'd call them. So calm your tits. I say "If" because automatically believing everything you read on the internet without questioning it is half the problem. Not saying he's wrong. I just don't know that he's right. None of us Donstalkers do for sure. Although he probably is.

Adam Johnson gets 6 years.

This is what we must not allow. And I believe protests did/are happening and did happen and places like central London after the Paris attacks. These aren't taken seriously by the media and get little to no coverage. That article was depressing. I don't know much about the author but if he's right then ffs it's enough to put me off having kids. I had no idea Bikini was an island. That was a nugget of new info that has enriched my day.

Agree with you on your first point. The further away the deaths the less they seem to matter. BBC obviously don't relate to Turkey because they're not a civilised western country. It's fucked up. I don't know how long the grief tourism as you call it has been a thing. But I get it. It's the best time so send a clear message to terrorists that we won't be intimidated. I like the "Not afraid" message from Paris in November. But a clear message also has to be sent to the "civilised" leaders who committed war crimes in our name for their own personal gain as Rocket alluded to. They're terrorists as well. They just wear suits and have white skin. I'm a guy who believes all people and animals should be left to live in peace. Definitely against the death penalty. Basically a standard human. But I'd make an exception for some of these warmongering scum bags. I'd treat them with the same contempt that I'd treat some brainwashed Muslim mentalists. When the Christians were doing this 800 years ago how were they stopped? This is just history repeating itself. EDIT:

I'd place a new goalkeeper at the top of the shopping list. It's amazing how much of a positive effect a competent keeper can have on our back 4. It's no coincidence that the centre back pairing has turned to poop since Ward went back down the road.

Two explosions at an airport in Brussels. 11 dead so far apparently. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-35869254

Making Shinnie captain is the first thing I'd do. Jack being captain isn't working for him. It makes him harder to drop and he's not been playing well enough to not be dropped. Shinnie is an infinitely better player and captain. McGinn must stay. We can't afford to take quality players like him for granted. Aye he's not been on red hot form of late but his quality is without question. I agree with the graphic that we need 2 centre backs, a keeper and a striker. Assuming Logan stays.

Tough one to take. Had a bad feeling from the second McGhee started moaning about nae having enough players. Then the last gasp winner from Celtic earlier in the day won't have helped. Celtic playing 1st most weeks is an advantage. Season over. I know we've said that a few times but I think that's it no. Was so annoyed over the weekend that I said I wouldn't bother going back this season. Football can hurt sometimes! Motherwell are fucking useless as well FFS sake.

Could tell early on that United were out. Their goal (from a much softer penalty than Liverpool got in the 1st leg but didn't hear Scholesy going on about that!) gave them a glimmer but they were second best throughout both legs. I do feel slightly for Van Gaal because he's been unlucky with injuries. The team he had to field yesterday was fucking hopeless. And how Fellaini didn't get banned after that elbow in the 1st leg was a disgrace. Cantankerous cunt that he is.

Mind game from McGhee.

Plus 90 minutes, extra time and fucking penalties.

I went to The Prime Cuts last night. Having always fancied trying it I heard it was closing down ("hibernating because of the oil downturn") on Friday so decided to go and check it out. They were doing a deal where you'd get 10% off so I booked a table and went. The first thing I noticed when I turned up was that the prices on their menu were almost 20% higher than the prices on their website. Online menu linky. I'd be really keen to know when they bumped the prices up because the cynic in me would suggest that it happened around the time they started doing a 10% "discount". Anyway. I ordered the T-bone done medium and a pepper and whiskey sauce. Thoroughly enjoyed the food. No complaints on that front at all. Service was fine but then came the bill fuck up. The mannie took the bill over and said "The 10% has been taken off already". He was half right.. the sauces had been discounted by 10% saving us a total of about 60p. The steaks were charged at full price (£7 more each than the online price). So I said to the guy that the prices were already a lot higher than online (which he got a little defensive about) and that I expected 10% off the whole bill. He took the bill away, corrected it and took it back but I don't believe for a second that that was an honest mistake. That was them blatantly trying their luck and seeing if they'd get away with it. So for that reason I can't go back when it re-opens which is a shame because I've never had a better steak in Aberdeen.

This is normally what I'd think but I get the feeling that Shay has strong morals and they wouldn't allow him to sign for the Tims. Although it is a good 3 hours closer to his family.
-
Some Tims speaking of rumours that Celtic are looking at Shay. I'm sure he'll be delighted to sign for a club whose fans boo him after he was racially abused. [/sarcasm]
-
I'd be lying if I said my hopes weren't up. I find myself thinking about it all the time. But we (like the players and staff) just have to stay calm and focus on the next game. Pay no heed to Celtic or what they're doing. Fact is as it stands it's out of our own hands. Which I'm oddly pleased about because it must reduce the pressure a wee bit. I honestly don't think we'll bottle it. If any of our players to then they shouldn't play professionally again. If you're not here to compete for league titles then you shouldn't be here at all. I think the Celtic are far more likely to shit themselves.
-
Jesus wept. It doesn't surprise me. The bunch that sit behind me fucking love it when Jack or McGinn makes a mistake to they can slate them. Did it with Goodwillie too. I'll never understand it. Getting on the players' backs is something the opposition actively seek to do and we have the power to stop that happening by shutting the fuck up up but we don't. Our fans are often a fucking embarrassment. Fuck them though. Let's focus on the positives. 3 points from a tough game. Fulls backs played out of their skin. Tremendous stuff. Another "cup final" on Saturday.

Yer coat's on a shoogly peg Bobby min.

In. #realfan Predicting another costly error leading to 2 points being dropped.

Da ken about that appointment like. Better than McLaren but he's never been in a relegation battle in his life.
-
I mind after the Gibraltar game there was talk of him walking away and then he turned round and said the Tartan Army's support convinced him to stay. Where he saw this support I do not know because I wasn't aware of any cunt that wanted him to stay.

If you're like me and had no idea who that was it's Daniel Harvie.
