  1. I registered both my and my old man's numbers with them back in 2014 and it's not made any difference.
  2. Recently I've been plagued with calls from all over the UK from folk who seem to want to help me claim compensation for accidents that I've supposedly had in my car. Sometimes they even specify a date. Unless you suffer a pretty severe head injury you're going to fucking remember if you were involved in an accident! What's even more annoying is that some pricks are passing on your details. The last one today has my full name, address and (previous) car details. I contacted my insurer (as the car has only ever been insured with them) and they say they never give out any details. So the only other folk it could be are the DVLA. So I'm going to have to get on the blower to them and accuse them accordingly. My old man's land line gets hogged by nuisance callers too. Many of them end up being recorded messages. They don't even give you the time of day after you've given them yours! Anyone managed to successfully remove themselves from cold callers' lists?
  3. Get a job at a big club then.
  4. Aye so Ward. I would be very happy to have him back. Not because he's the perfect keeper or even the finished article but because he's so, so much better than the pish we've had for the last decade. The confidence he instills in the back 4 is already of great value. So I really hope this loan move happens. I'm not convinced by McGovern but I've not seen much of him in action tbh be honest.
  5. Thought he'd already arranged a loan move for next season to somewhere in England?
  6. It's a contribution that says plenty. After all from this contribution you were somehow able to conclude that I'm boring. The fact that you're happy to judge my entire personality on that post says a lot more about you than it does about me. I don't bend over and spunk silly amounts of money on stuff going blindly on the premise that "you get what you pay for." Although I do tend to spend a bit more on footwear. I have a pair of Dune shoes which are a lot better than pretty much any shoes I've had in the past. They fit, feel and look better. For trainers I tend to favour Nike, Puma or Adidas although when you have as much trouble as me getting the correct size I can't always afford to be picky. When it comes to trousers, shirts, t shirts I don't really care. I don't wear jumpers and rarely wear hats. Maybe I will when I start to go bald but my hair is glorious so why hide it?
  7. I wear whatever I feel is good value for money, looks half decent and fits properly. There are some brands that I maybe tend to favour and others that I dislike.
  8. Am I reading too much into Shinnie being the central figure there? Next season's captain? Looks like I'm going for black and gold again next season. Wonder if they have the same fit as this seasons.
  9. Watch the BBC "Hillsborough" program that aired on Sunday or Monday night and then come back and see if you still want to spout this pish.
  10. Agreed. Really like it.
  11. Agreed. I'm still a big fan.
  12. You may have been on the same bus as me then. I remember being on Jean's bus (based out of Bridge of Don I think?) and I remember Norman getting on at Wellington Road. I was just a kid but he and my Mum would speak. I remember we saw him one year at the annual switching on of the Christmas lights in toon and he was helping locate my lost sibling. He never gave much away but he was clearly a downright pleasant mannie. He spent a lot of time just walking around. He must have been lonely I think. I remember having a meal with my Mrs in Union Square and during the course of the meal he walked past several times always in the same direction. Agree with Rocket that the sock tribute is a must. RIP in peace Norman.
  13. Not too dissimilar to my experience at Prime Cu(n)ts. Dicks. I went to Byron Burger the other night. I enjoyed it. Much more so than Handmade Burger but it's really expensive for what it is and I don't think it's worth it. I won't be back unless I get some sort of money off voucher.
  14. Even if Spurs had won last night Leicester would only have had to beat Everton at home on Saturday to win it.
  15. You watched the wrong game, pal.

Enjoyed that performance, Rocket. Cheers. I can't say I was ever a huge fan of the guy but undoubtedly a talented showman to say the least and I do like a lot of his music. Might give some of it a listen as I'm stuck in the office until 6 FFS sake.
  18. In/out: out Pre matcher: BBQ Match: BBQ with the game on TV Post matcher: BBQ Prediction: Overdone steaks and a look of disgust from Dave_min.
  19. He does look a wee bit too good for them. Whether he's good enough to be anything more than a squad player with us I don't know.
  20. That was some hiding they took last night. Can't remember the last time I saw a game so one sided tbh be honest. And long before the sending off too.
  21. Had to google the lyrics that Al posted otherwise I'd never have got it. Very unfamiliar with his music.
  22. Aye so who the fuck is it?
  23. Not sure how we can know if Ward was "excellent" going by the BBC highlights. He made a couple of saves that you'd expect anyone to make and he got away with flapping impotently at a cross at one point. Unless you were at the game or watched an online stream and saw something that I didn't then I disagree.
  24. You shouldn't be listing to etc etc
