  1. As Rocket said I doubt he has much to do with how the chain is ran. He'll have put his name on it to get folk through the door. Just like that hun cunt Gordon Ramsey across the ponds. Cunts can't seem to get enough of him over there. His name is attached to countless restaurants but he has no say in how they're ran in any way.
  2. When it comes to tatties only Russets will do. They can withstand 12 hours in a slow cooker and retain their texture and shape. Others will turn to mush.
  3. Currently enjoying some slow cooked tatties and beef that cooked overnight. I definitely prefer cheaper cuts cooked for longer than more expensive cuts cooked quickly.
  4. FFS. I've got a voucher to use! I've heard mixed reviews of the place. Never been but looks like I'll be trying it soon!
  5. Can FIFA just push this through or is there a vote involving the FAs of members? I know England and Germany are against it and the majority probably will be. Just hope common sense prevails.
  6. I get where you're coming from. I'm not a fan of it either but those are the rules. Which is what many just don't realise. As pish as many refereeing performances in this country are we have to remember that they spend much of their time studying the rules. We don't. The ref has to make a judgement call about whether the blocking player can play the ball as Rico alluded to. But to be honest 99 times out of 100 in the cases that I've seen they are close enough to shield the ball as per the rules.
  7. And against the Huns and Tims. I'm sick of us standing back and watching them play against us. We show them far too much respect. We should be getting stuck in on those cunts too.
  8. If the ball is at your feet and you can kick it any time you want you're in control and shielding the ball is perfectly reasonable. If a player knocks the ball past you and runs round you and you block the player then that's different because you're not near enough the ball to be able to play it and in that case it would be a foul for obstruction. As far I know this is how the referees look at it.
  9. Sounds shite. Nothing booked yet but I have one or two plans. I'm planning on going over to Flushing Meadows for the closing stages of the US Open this year. My Mrs always talks about wanting to go to Lanzarote again so we might actually do that. I've nae been and it's not somewhere that she's manage to sell me on but I suppose it's not just about me! And I might enjoy it so will see if we can sort something. Anyone been? I'm assured it's not full of cockney/pikey rude boy cunt wankers.
  10. No. Put some fucking clothes on if yer leaving the hoose ffs. How hard is it? Fucking minks.
  11. The general wankfuckery shown by Aberdeen fans at Ibrox, Hampden and more importantly Pittodrie. Some of the utter nonsense you hear out of folk's mouths is embarrassing at best. The moaning and groaning and unmistakable air of negativity that engulfs Pittodrie 99.9% of the time thanks to our own fans. They get on the backs of our own players instead of trying to unsettle the opposition. Opposing managers rightly utilise the tactic of frustrating us because they know we're always a ball hair away from slating our own players. The abuse Niall McGinn gets is a fucking disgrace. Folk who think they ken the rules but don't. (exemplified by the comments about shielding the ball as it goes out of play. You're allowed to shield the ball so long as you've in control of the ball.) Linesmen watching a player busting a gut to get to a ball and then raise their flag for offside when they get there. As soon as a player is active the flag should go up surely? Sprinting to get to the ball is a player being very active!
  12. A little bit? Come on, manc even your beloved aren't quite out of the race yet IMO my opinion!
  13. FFS sake. Shouldn't have looked at this thread at the wrong side of lunch time!
  14. I like him but I don't think I like him as much as the rest of you seem to. I still think Ward was the better of the pair but I do agree he's substantially better than anything we had for the decade prior to Ward. I'd be very happy for him to sign a contract extension.
  15. Going to the pub. Just got told we're not getting away early tomorrow although having said that even if I had there was no danger I was going down to the game. 3 points plz. Any of this 9-1 shit again and I will appoint Mezz as the SLO in retaliation.
  16. Whose missus did he shag?
  17. I'd keep McGinn. Very capable player in a squad that is all too often not capable. He is suffering the effects of not getting a break in the summer. I'd send him on holiday in the new year and hopefully he improves a bit in the second half of the season. I'd keep Considine and I'd probably keep Pawlett too. I'd listen to offers (lol) for Jack and I'd drive Taylor to the city limit myself. Although.. if the club was willing to invest (lol) in replacements that might improve the team much of the above could change.
  18. I'm at the stage where I'd be quite happy to see him move on. Although not to another club in Scotland. I remember being delighted when he signed his new contract. He's not been the same player since. Bar an isolated really good showing or two in our European games. Being relieved of the captaincy would do him a power of good I reckon.
  19. Haven't been able to bring myself to watch the highlights. I didn't make it to the game. I've not even really been able to bring myself to read this thread other than the last page through utter embarrassment. I had a bad feeling as soon as I saw the team line up. I ken I'm nae a football manager but for fuck sake why can't we play our strongest team rather than trying to adapt to counter the shittest rangers team ever? McInnes' attitude is embarrassing. The result last weekend at Hampden was a fucking embarrassment too. I'm thankful to McInnes for what he has done for us recently but if he can't take us further (and I think he can if he's willing to learn from really obvious mistakes) then he should GTF to fuck now so we can appoint some other fud to embarrass us against the Old Firm. Nae happy at all. 3 home games in the next 8 days and can't be arsed with any of them now.
  20. Oot Heathrow ( ) Flight Holiday 1-1 *For the avoidance of doubt the sole purpose of this post is to boast about going away on holiday on Saturday.

    Hemmin Buc

FFS DD can you nae go one post without boasting about living in Budapest??
  22. I've lived in The Netherlands before and still visit once or twice a year. Every time I'm there i think to myself that I could easily live there again. But It's not something that I've got the will to do at the moment. Something would have to go seriously wrong here for me to take a step like moving abroad. The weather is shite in the UK, aye, but I'm nae fussed.
  23. Agree about the wall. No danger that's happening at all IMO opinion. But Trump's problem is that it's those sort of promises he made that'll have won him votes so he's going to be under pressure to deliver.
  24. Nae him.. there's a boy that sits and speaks all mousey-like and can barely string a sentence together. I'll kick myself when I hear his name. He's nae mentioned here: http://tvnewsroom.site/sky-sports/sky-sports-football-presenters-commentators-pundits-105736/
  25. I'll give it a go. The Kevin McNaughton one was brutal. He's certainly not destined for a career in media either. Mind you if Merse and that black former footballer that works as a match reporter for Sky Sports can do it then maybe anyone can.
