  1. Pretty dire game last night between Liverpool and Stoke. Stoke by far the better team on the night but neither side had many attempts on target. Stoke's goal was offside but you could argue that they deserved that bit of luck. Penalties were of a good standard especially Liverpool's. Hope tonight's other semi between City and Everton is a better game.
  2. Never good enough. He's the type of player John Collins was talking about. Which is why it's hilarious that he scored the winner against them. Wish him all the best. But we need signings post haste so I hope we've got plans lined up.

    Tennis

She's about as British as Aljaz Bedene but aye, good on her. Punching above her weight.
  4. I've said since the day Shinnie signed that he should be captain.
  5. I think he's implying that games are moved to suit both cheeks of the arse that is the Old Firm but no one else.
  6. My ability to deal with cold has diminished dramatically in the last 5-6 years. Why I have no idea. I'm nae that old yet but I'm finding these 6 month winters fucking hard work!
  7. That's my vote decided then. UK oot.
  8. Prediction: Fucking freezing.

I enjoyed it very much. And tbh be honest it's rare for me to enjoy long films. It's harrowing but brilliantly acted. Tom Hardy will win an Oscar for it (best supporting actor). I hope Leo does too because he deserves one although he's had better performances in other films imo my opinion. (Django) To conclude: It's nae as good a Hateful Eight but it is really good.
  10. Well I am so thanks for the advice.

I watched Jackie Brown for the 1st time the other night. Didn't think all that much of it to be honest! Very little "Tarantino" about it at all. Very ordinary film. Big disappointment. Not in the same sport (let alone ball park) as the like of Basterds, Django, Hateful Eight, Kill Bill and of course Pulp Fiction.
  12. FFS. MBT thought he had a new friend there! I'm still your friend, MBT.
  13. Just me that thought the boy dived to get Reynolds sent off? Reynolds touched the boy's shoulder and he hit the deck. Fine performance though. Both before and after the red card incident.
  14. I'm not completely convinced that Karie isn't a bot of some sort tbh be honest with you MBT. Karie.. if you can answer the following question correctly you'll not be deleted: Coldplay is Donstalk's favourite band. True or false?
  15. I expect them both (more so Real) to be active during the summer and next January too. Just as Barca were during their transfer embargo.

    Dancing

I had my fingers crossed for a DTers night oot.
  17. Grim is exactly how I'd describe the whole series tbh be honest. And the 1st episode is just the tip of the iceberg.
  18. Brown might be 1st choice.
  19. It's good in the sense it's fairly gripping television but it's bad because of the injustice.

    Dancing

I'm glad you're enjoying your lessons. I know nothing about dancing however my contribution to this thread will be invaluable:
  21. Anyone been watching Making a Murderer on Netflix?
  22. But Shankland is shite at this level.

Unlike Rocket I thoroughly enjoyed Hateful Eight. You might want to only read below if you've already seen it or don't plan to watch it. The dialogue, the actors and a special mention has to go to the sound track which all made it really good in my opinion. I'm not sure I agree with there being a lack of plot. There was a plot. And a good one at that. Although I do agree with Rocket regarding the violence. The gore is at times needlessly over the top and, to be honest, I don't really get it. But Unlike Rocket I don't find that it detracts from his movies. I was a wee bit disappointed that it petered out in the way it did. I was kinda hoping for a finale in Red Rock. Will definitely watch again. Tim Roth was excellent. His performance reminded me of Waltz's performance in Django. Incidentally I enjoyed Django a lot more at the second time of viewing.
  24. It does if your backup option is Bogdan.
  25. Mignolet is injured though is he not? If injuries occur after you've agreed to let certain loan players stay on loan then that's just unfortunate.
