    Andy Murray

I'm going to say no he won't but not because Murray will exit this tournament early but because Djokovic is good enough to win when he wants and will win this tournament in my opinion. All this talk of losing his no. 1 ranking will have lit a fire under his arse.
  2. 1. Eoin Jess 2. Russell Anderson 3. Theo Snelders (even though he was a miserable cunt) I too could name more. Such as Markus Heikkinen, Alex McLeish and Duncan Shearer to name a few. Unfortunately I'm just slightly too young to remember the 80s glory days.
  3. Aye because white and navy blue fucking clash, eh.
  4. Out Pub Pub Pub 0-1 Dons. Rooney 90+2
  5. Only just managed to bring myself to watch the highlights after what was a very frustrating game at Pittodrie. I felt we did enough to deserve a point in the end but we need a bit of luck against a team with the quality of Celtic. Brown was class. Pulled the strings the entire game and barely had to run. When he did he seemed to be faster and stronger than anyone in our team. How that big prick can outpace anyone full stop is a fucking mystery. Was great to see Logan send him a wee message on the touchline. So late that the ref missed it. The sound of Brown's baldy head slapping against the mug on the ground was pretty funny. I was very relieved that Hayes didn't get sent off. I can see now it was just a push but I wondered at the time if he'd punched him. Although it's good to see the team sticking up for each other. Rogic is a class act and Dembele and Sinclair are proving to be worth their high wages too. Frustrating that Shinnie's honesty cost us a penalty. Just goes to show he should have went down and that's not the way we want the game to go. But let's be honest; it's the way the game went a long time ago. Madison should start though, surely? Friday night is a must win now IMO my opinion.
  6. St. Andrews bar? Been there before but had forgotten about it! Cheers.
  7. Exactly what went through my head the first time I reached the top of the steps when entering my first game. It was a cup match against Clydebank. August 10th 1993 turns out it was! 5-0 Dons. I remember my sister attending her first game not long after that and having the same thoughts when she got to the top of the steps. Turned to me and said "Simon, look!" and pointed at the pitch. Strange that the sight of the pitch seems to catch youngsters off guard! Not sure what I expected!
  8. It's a well known fact. He's captain in the shower so he should be captain on the pitch!
  9. Would you be kind enough to share what you've heard about him? Would be very intriguing to read tbh be honest.
  10. The reason why wee Barry didn't sing the national anthem is hardly a secret. The cretin wishes he was English. Fuck him and every other hun too. We all know the contempt he showed Scotland. It was embarrassing how many caps he got. Nae even a good player.
  11. It's pretty hard to get banned from this site. I even let No voters and Coldplay haters remain. You can get banned if you try hard enough. It generally doesn't happen so yous can go mental. It's nice to see an influx of posters. It's almost like the old days from when before Donstalk crashed. It happened years ago but we lost a lot of users and posts and many of you understandably moved to other forums. I believe we've got better quality hosting in place now thanks to the Inverness Reds so a good base to build on!
  12. We got our tickets sorted yesterday. North Stand. Nae idea where in it though. I always say I'll never got back to Hampden but here we go again! I'll be away for the final (should we make it) so I kinda have to go to the semi. Anyone know where I can watch the Scottish league Cup final in New York?
  13. Never been involved in anything major. Did get abuse from a big group of Jambos after we beat them at Tynie about 12 years ago. There was only 2 of us so I bit my tongue. They were apparently going to batter us but they never tried. Oddly enough there were no other Dandies fucking anywhere to be seen which I thought was weird standing at a major train station after a game. I try not to get involved with arseholes but when I hear folk being ultra negative towards AFC it does wind me up. I'm all for shouting abuse at the opposition but fucking hell we're quick to get on our own players' backs. Which we know for a fact that the opposition actively try to use to their advantage. I find it pretty sad that fans will fall out and fight with fellow fans. We're not at primary school anymore. We should behave like adults.
  14. Welcome folks. I think you'll find we're all sound as f*ck (apart from the Weegie fakers) which is strange because everyone that sits around me at Pittodrie is a f*cking knob.
  15. Agreed. The ko time isn't an issue for me because I'd be driving no matter what the ko time is but if there's a worse fucking stadium in the country to drive to than Hampden then I haven't been there. It's fucking awful. You can either park fairly close and then sit in traffic for 1-2 hours directly after the game or you can parking fucking miles away and still get stuck in traffic for ages. Or you can take a supporters bus and sit with fucking aresoles on the bus whilst stuck in traffic. The semi at Tynie was infinitely better.

    Films

I liked Sausage Party because it was nothing but a poorly veiled attack on the religious.
  17. Zorb football eh? Do yourself a favour and wear a neck brace.
  18. Hiya loons. I'm back. The Hun game was my first game for a while. And what a game to come back to! I'll be honest.. I was very very nervous about the game and completely unable to enjoy the build up or "banter" or join in with the optimism of the people who thought we were going to smash them. Whilst walking to the game I was talking about how McInnes tends to mould his team round the opposition instead of concentrating on our own game. That's pretty much what happened and the way I saw it we were second best for the majority of that game. They passed, moved and kept possession better than us. The tactics in the first half didn't work. The change made at half time (having Rooney flicking on the long hoofs instead of Pawlett) paid off immediately then it was normal service resumed when we invited them on and indeed gave them respect that they didn't deserve. A draw would have been a fair result but some quality from us that they never showed despite all their possession won it for us in the end. I lost the plot when the free kick went in. Amazing. The ref was infuriating. We were being penalised for next to nothing. We weren't allowed to even try and get the ball or keep the ball. Free kicks being given every time. So to get a questionable free kick at the end there was the least we deserved. McInnes' tactics were wrong IMO opinion. We got away with it. I fucking hate Rangers.
  19. This is what annoyed me about it. Going on and on about how much Rangers were spending but refusing to even acknowledge that it wasn't their money. Although maybe I should give them the benefit of the doubt in case they're saving that for the next installment. Agreed about the Rangers footage, Ginge. We all know it happens but was still quite something to see it with my own eyes. Was Murdo standing at the back belting that out too?
  20. I remember reading something similar years and years ago that said "Stewart Milne is aiming to have the new stadium built in time for the 2013/14 season.

    Celeb Deaths

For once I'm in agreement with Kow. Genuinely saddened to hear of Gene's death. Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory was the first and only thing I knew him from for most of my childhood but I think Blazing Saddles is my favourite film of his. There's nothing else quite like it.
  22. Just catching up on this news. It's a shame he didn't turn up against the Tims but I'm very happy that he looks to be staying on.
  23. Charlton bid of £250k accept for Killie's Josh Magennis.
  24. Any highlights kicking aboot? Obviously YouTube only has the brothers grim available.
  25. I've enjoyed the games so far. I've realised after thoroughly enjoyed London 2012 too that I enjoy the Olympics more than the Euros or the World Cup. Never thought I'd see the day tbh be honest! Annemiek van Vleuten sustained some serious spinal injuries and a concussion but tweeted a photo of her sitting up smiling allbeit with a hell of a shiner. It sounds like she'll make a full recovery. The crash was brutal. I was watching it live and was obviously chuffed that a Dutch woman was leading. Then crashed out and a minute or two later when the American woman who was second (can't remember her name) went past and van Vleuten hadn't moved. Looked absolutely awful. Anyone know why the diving pool turned green?
