  1. Teams mention were Leeds, Birmingham and maybe Sheff Utd?? £500,000 seems low for an international thats scored 15 in the SPL, thats more than Hooper. I know we are a selling club but think we'd get more than that... Not that I think the story is true, can imagine the retard making it up to infuriate fans that bids were accepted at such a late time in the window. P.s - Didn't buy the paper, looked at the back page in the shop, on the sly, made sure no one was looking
  2. Its on the BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21266389
  3. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21266389 Is this our January excitement?? Would rather see Danny Rogers get a game
  4. BBC two used to always stop their schedule for Andy's matches, even round one and two. Think their budget has taken a big hit, there was a big change to their interactive service a month or two back. Down to one screen, think you will notice a big different around the time of Wimbledon when you cannot choose between different matches anymore on BBCi. Quite disappointed, the interactive service was one think the BBC had going for it. On a side note, Murray is looking in good form at the right time
  5. Second album is great. Some classic rock riffs, some old school blues story telling thrown in ("All The Way") which I think is a standout track. Then "The Heist" to me is genius where he is talking about bringing money home but with no job resorts to robbing a bank, where the burglary would be in the song they break it down and have this espionage style solo (if you have heard espionage by Green Day you will know what I mean) I think its just fantastic. Seen them in Inverness with Black Stone Cherry, liked Pressure & Time but most of the people were most worried about getting pished before BSC came on so never paid as much attention as I'd have liked
  6. Bullcrap, he was always going to get to England in my opinion, this three and a half years in a period where he needs first team games and quality coaching. He might get the games at both clubs but no way Bournemouth have the experience we have in terms of coaches. Think he'd have got his move to the EPL in a year or two, he still might but think he was better off here in the meantime
  7. Been awarded Young Player of the Month for Dec
  8. Ivan Sproule joined Ross County on a 18 month deal. Didn't even realise he was back as Hibs, take it he's been shite the last few years
  9. Craig Brown said he was glad to see that some on the players had booked holidays. Probably a good thing to be fair, bit of a rest before the second half push
  10. Apparently "all over twitter", I haven't see anything myself (probably because I don't use twitter) that we are trying to get in Paddy McCourt on a pre-contract. People worried about his injury issues but personally I'd take him in a heartbeat if true, could see him making a McGinn style impact and I think potentially one of out best partnerships up front if we keep a hold of McGinn
  11. How often do you think that excuse will wash?? Or have they said it so much they believe it now. Disappointed the "These aren't real Celtic fans" quote didna come out too, that would have got me a full house of my Neil Lennon spouting shite bingo card
  12. Apparently loads of fighting around Elgin, police all over the place and even ambulances
  13. Well done to Turra for being the last non league team in. They had a chance at the end of the home game to win it 2-1 and that was the chance of getting through. 6-0 looks a bad result but I felt it was always on the cards unless it remained 0-0 into the second half then who knows. But Turra aren't the team to sit back and accept a respectable 2-0 defeat against a good side, I imagine they went for it and got punished. Nevertheless, great start to their Scottish Cup history
  14. This is what makes it fun, we were losing to a suspect pen and got a shocking red card yet me and my partner could only sit there pissing ourselves laughing. I know its unprofessional but still...
  15. Definitely not a sending off, Reynolds is practically on the line and the angle of the shot would've been tight. Can't tell if there is contact but the guy goes looking for contact. Dunno if thats just as bad or not, if you are tripped and it has knocked you off your stride then you deserve the free kick and shouldn't have to try your best to stay up (unless you want to as you think it will benefit you) but deliberately putting your leg where you know you'll get tripped is surely just a more clever form of diving. Dunno if this is what he does but seems that way. According to the Northsound/RedWeb guys Langfield says there was no contact at all. Cheating prick
  16. The first 20 mins of the 2nd half we played amazing, think we could've scored 8 goals in that time. Pleased Shaughnessy got the goal coz he missed a decent chance just before and I was a bit worried it might get to him, you could see he enjoyed that goal. Also on the cold front, two pairs of thick socks on and it felt like I was skiing with sandals
  17. Thinking of going to the replay now, stuck in Glasgow with nothing else to do. Anyone know if there is a supporters bus or anything that runs from Glasgow or the best way to get there and back on public transport??
  18. To me this years SPL has a bit of the Highland League about it (which I find one on the most competitive leagues around) Pretty much any team can beat any other team on their day, a few wins can push a team well up the league and the leaders can/have changed weekly. In the SHFL teams down to 14th are competitive, Turra have beat the top two teams and are in the 4th rd of the Scottish Cup. Similarly, teams at the bottom of the SPL have beat the leaders and are in cup semis etc. It may not be the most exciting league in terms of skill and entertainment but every game has importance. Look at the games coming up, theres 2nd vs 5th and 3rd vs 4th this midweek with 2 pts between the four teams and Celtic have three tough games too. ICT vs Hibs will be interesting too next Sat, especially if Celtic slip up in any of their two games by 3pm on Sat. Best SPL in a long long time
  19. Don't really mind Killie going above us, think Utd have the better team and are on a bit of a good run and in my opinion are bigger threats to us long term so I'll take a Killie win
  20. Is this a joke?? A middle leage of ten just makes no sense, a third tier of ten maybe but why the middle tier?? Also "colt" teams with fuck all of a real fanbase is farsical, there are teams all over Scotland more deserving of places. We need a pyramid system so small teams with proper passionate fans can have aims and goals, not just a big Rangers and Celtic bumfest
  21. I'm not quite sure if this is the real reason but the Misses says its coz they are cocksucking motherfuckers, she also thinks they can go poke themselves with a shitty stick that she's informed me that she'd be happy to shit on herself. She added Neil Lennon was a ginger fud... Do you see the pregnancy hormones I have to deal with, and this is just due to lack of football commentary. Its crazy
