  1. Its a joke. If it shot up for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in gradual steps then I'd understand but we all know why it is like it is. I really don't understand why anyone would agree to that at all
  2. Didna like Bocanegras challenge on Magennis, the boy was fair motoring like. I know theres Huns in the vicinity but looks to me like Magennis would've been through to get a shot away
  3. I had a look on Northsound but nothing. Canna be arsed with open all mics, just have to stick with BBC text
  4. Have Sky Bet open and when Clark came on for Pawlett they changed the odds so we were more likely to win.... Aye, have they nae seen Clark play like??
  5. Dunno if theres a post about this or if everyone has already seen it already but just letting you know there is a 70 minute programme at 1am on ESPN Classic devoted to the final. Can't be a bad thing to have recorded to watch every once in a while to cheer us up in times of doom and gloom
  6. Was that John Hughes commentating on the radio?? I'm sure I heard his name mentioned. Eejit would be right, was doing my fucking nut it
  7. Yup, spot on....... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16233345.stm Okay, he's being more diplomatic that anything, trying not to get himself into trouble but surely privately he's with the rest of us in the "WTF department"
  8. The first yellow was definatly warranted. The second one not so much but you should know not to dive in when you've already been booked so I don't think there can be too much complaints
  9. So Fyvies shot at the end was offside?? How the fuck does that work?? The ref just had a complete shocker. To be fair to Fyvie I think it was a case of the straw breaking the camels back, after seeing some of those decisions I can see why he'd be riled. What about the two hand balls? Their first goal looks suspicious but it's not a very good camera angle to judge and our penalty claim there looks like two hand balls although it does look more ball to hand
  10. According to the BBC theres no Vernon in team or even on bench?? Is that right or have I missed an obvious reason why he isn't playing? Oh and the team they have is..... * 20 Gonzalez * 02 McArdle * 03 Foster * 05 Mawene * 06 Considine * 07 Clark * 08 Milsom * 11 Arnason * 16 Osbourne * 17 Fyvie * 14 Fallon Substitutes * 32 Brown, * 13 Robertson, * 34 Grimmer, * 10 Mackie, * 18 Chalali, * 21 Magennis, * 23 Megginson
  11. Avoided the score a few times to watch the BBC Alba games, couple Tuesday/Wednesday night games and a couple on Saturday.... If you can pull it off and avoid the score then it is worth it, it does feel like watching it live. Problems are avoiding the score and also avoiding things like Soccer Saturday, certain websites, I've even not opened a text from a mate just incase. The commentary itself isnt that bad, it sorta drifts into the backgroud like most commentary
  12. Which McFadden is it?? Bryan or Steve?
  13. Well aye but they boy they brought on is a decent keeper, sure he was one of the hottest young prospects in the Highland League, probably why Locos are looking at him
  14. Fulham have started talks with Aberdeen over a £1m switch to the London club for 18-year-old midfielder Fraser Fyvie that should be finalised this week. (Sunday Mail)
  15. Definatly a great signing, its the kind of name we need on board in terms of footballing talent. Off the pitch, well different story but as long as he performed on the pitch and scored goals for Aberdeen then he can be a dick all he wants.
  16. From who we have in the squad at the minute (presuming Dimond is gone) I'd go for Langfield, Foster and Milson, in that order - Depending if the first two are here or not
  17. Pretty much what everyone else has said - I think he'd have struggled to get a game if Fyvie, Folly and Milson were all fit. Probably a wise choice for both parties involved
  18. Fit number was Anderson?? Whole defence looked shaky... Wasn't impressed with Grimmer at left back. Poor from Magennis - He's twice the size of everyone on the pitch and falling about like a pansy. Although he did looked gutted at the end when he was sitting on the pitch Paton looked like he was causing problems early on but when Turra settled he went missing.
  19. Aye, RTP is Allan Park in old money Nae word yet on when the final will be
  20. Aberdeen will face Turriff United in the final of this year's Morrison Motors (Turriff) Aberdeenshire Shield after a youthful Dons side defeated Cove Rangers by two goals to one at Rainbow Taxis Park tonight. Stephen O'Neill gave the SPL side the lead after an assist by Ryan Fraser and captain Nicky Low added a second from the penalty spot three minutes before the break after Eric Watson clipped Jordan Brown. However right on half time Calum Watson gave the Highland League side hope by reducing the deficit to one when he flicked home Jordan Head's header from barely a yard out. The Blues chances were reduced when referee Caryl Potten red carded Daniel Park for a lunging tackle and the Dons teenagers duly saw out the remainder of the game to book a berth against Turra.
  21. The semi final is tonight the Cove at RTP - Winners play Turra United in the final....
  22. From Highland League website - Finished 4-1
