  1. On the Shay Logan booing, I had a very long boring conversation with a Celtic fan who genuinely seemed to believe that even if Tonev said what is was rumoured to say, something like "don't touch me again you black ****" then this is acceptable because black is the correct term... Even accused me of being the type of person that got baa baa back sheep banned in school coz it has the word black. Couldn't believe how naive/stupid/up their own arse these Celtic fans are. How can anyone think the term black **** would be acceptable to say to a black person in this day and age? The mind does boggle
  2. If anyone has "Lotto Lout" Michael Carroll on here (which you all should) then I apologise, I have failed you all. I had the perfect chance, numerous times, and I bottled it
  3. The Motherwell game still hurts and obviously would rather have finished 2nd. However with regards to Europe I think we're better off having played against a piss poor team, giving the younger guys a bit of European experience and confidence rather than going straight into round 2 unseeded. Hopefully it worls out for the bezt
  4. Thought we'd be favourites but just seen the odds... 1/16 us and 25/1 them, suggests they are a lot poorer than I guessed, would expect to see odds like that if we were up against Highland League sides. Think McInnes has this side too well drilled to slip up in these situations, can see a decent sized win
  5. Lot of money being put on Boyd going back to the Huns, dunno if that's inside info or wishful thinking. Most of the Huns need to be punted before they can ever challenge Celtic again, so have to laugh at theses guys basically going for a few extra pennies (if they can afford to pay wages) and a championship medal
  6. Seen McCall is currently second favourite behind Ian Murray. Although hasnt Murray already turned down a job to stick with Dumbarton?? Think McCall would do best to see what happened to Butcher, stick where you are doing good
  7. Got a feeling Hivs are going to scrape this. Hamilton have been by far the better team, the only team for large parts
  8. If its part of his community service and we dont have to pay him then... No, just no
  9. Pawlett and Reynolds deservedly called up. Four players out, Caldwell, D.Fletcher, Dorrans and maybe McArthur??
  10. Reports suggest we have started talks with Logan and are interested in Graeme Shinnie who is entering the final year in his contract. Would be nice to have a proper left back, it's been a while
  11. Last year the first round was split geographically but unsure to what extent and if this year will be the same. Theres no team in that list that should worry us, now I know it's seeded then can't see too much trouble. Not with McInnes in charge, he will make sure the players treat it professionally
  12. I'd take a draw if Well equalised with the final kick of the game, if not then 2 or 3 early goals will do. Anything else then I may brick it
  13. That I can understand because you have teams from two leagues competing for the one promotion place plus it's a three team playoff so it has to favour one of the sides. Here you have four teams competing, yet instead of teams needing to win two games you have two teams that would need to win three games, one team that would need to win two and one team that just needs to win one, to me that's stupid
  14. No idea why it doesn't mirror the other playoffs. I suppose the SPL finishes later so the SPL sides semi final would be played a week later than the other but it just smacks of favouritism
  15. Pretty much spot on, read Boyds equalisers/winners in games has earned Killie 20 points this year, thats pretty incredible since they've only got 36 altogether. Hibs just dont have anyone, at all. Id love to see the SPL team go down, preferable Hibs but Id take Killie
  16. Shocking decision for the penalty. McInnes had it spot on, could have been 3-3 with them down to 10 men and after that know knows... Frustrating
  17. Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes remains guarded on the topic of offering captain Russell Anderson a new contract. (Various) And the Dons have joined the list of clubs interested in Cowdenbeath striker Kane Hemmings. (Daily Mail) Can't see Vernon or Zola being here next season, nothing much has to be said about Zola and McInnes mustn't rate Vernon because I think he's deserved more game time. So we are going to be on the lookout for at least one new striker, think the boy Hemmings deserves a crack at the SPL, is he good enough for us, can't say I know enough about him to judge that but there's definitely potential. So with that in mind I would be okay if this were to happen
  18. Considine is apparently out for the rest of the season, not ideal
  19. According to Wikipedia he was born in Aberdeen and was part of our youth set up between the ages of 10 and 15 before going to Montrose
  20. Latest paper talk is suggesting Aaron Taylor-Sinclair, definitely more the kind of player we should be looking at. However thought bigger clubs were looking at him
  21. Said on Open All Mics that they thought Dundee sold their full allocation which would have been around 2.1k
  22. Mathematically no, if Utd win all their games and we lose all ours then we can finish 4th. Any slip up from them or a win for us will sort that. Also a win vs Motherwell guarantees 2nd no matter the other results
  23. We are lacking enough depth to have an impact player on the bench. I think Cammy has amazing potential but I don't think he is ready to be the go to guy in big games (like against Caley last week). If we can keep our midfield and add one more experienced player then to me that's ideal. Is that guy Lee Croft?? That I'm not too sure, would like to think there is better options
