  1. Would take him in a heartbeat. Frees up Considine to play center with Anderson which could be a solid partnership if they stay fit. Also as said, someone experienced to help Robertson as well
  2. From highlandleague.net Wick Academy 3-3 Aberdeen U20 Wick Academy secured a very credible draw in an entertaining game against a youthful Aberdeen side, with the Scorries twice ahead in the game but in the end having to be thankful for Gary Weir's equalising goal three minutes from time. Neil Cooper's Dons team had drawn 1-1 against First Division champions Cowdenbeath on Saturday, but it was the Highland League side who got off to a better start, and David Allan capitalised on some poor defending to put the Scorries ahead on the quarter hour mark. The lead lasted 12 minutes though, before winger Ryan Fraser equalised for Aberdeen with a neat finish. Wick went 2-1 up through striker Lukasz Geruzel three minutes before the break, with the young Dons backline again caught napping. But Aberdeen came out all guns blazing at the start of the second period and deservedly equalised nine minutes in, with Declan McManus getting the goal. McManus notched his second goal with eight minutes to play, which put the Dons in front for the first time in the match. However, the Scorries were by no means finished, and the ever reliable Weir ensured that Wick came out of the encounter with a deserved draw, coming off the subs bench to finish well with three minutes of play remaining. Wick Academy: M Gray, S Sinclair, R Allan, A Farquhar, M Steven, C Shearer, G Manson, S Mackay, L Geruzel, R Macadie, D Allan. Aberdeen U20: S Macaulay, C Murray, C Duguid, S O' Neill, J Shaughnessy, S Rumsby, R Fraser, J Brown, D McManus, C Smith, N Low.
  3. Surely something can be done - If club aren't standing up to this pish then the fans must. Fans all over Scotland knows what fate their club would've suffered in this situation, we're not the minority, they just want us to think we are. We'd be better off in a league without any of Rangers or Celtic, would the Huns give a shit about Scottish football if the EPL came calling?? No, so why is Scottish football giving such a shit in return? On another note - Craig Burley, you are a repulsive bastard, that is all
  4. Rangers won't be in tomorrows fixture list, instead "club 12" will appear http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18476930 Am I right in thinking the Dundee teams as well as the ugly sisters cannot have home games on the same day?? Presume it may just be a case of switching some games from Saturdays to Sundays but may be awkward to arrange a list if you dunno if its Dundee or the huns and there is possible restrictions on both when and where they can play
  5. Yeah, read the next part, I corrected myself...
  6. I think the SPL in an invitational league?? Is that right? So surely teams could decline the invitation?? On another note, am I the only one thinking that the 8-4 majority that was so wanted coz the 11-1 was so biased towards the OF ironically could be the only thing that saves them now
  7. The Hibs chairman is the only guy to have spoken sense, money should not be an issue here and it's really the only thing that can keep Rangers in. Would there be such an issue if it was us or Caley, Killie or Dunfermline?? Would there buggery. The whole world knows what should happen, Rangers should be a division three club now, in fact they should be preparing a presentation to be granted the honour of being a division three club. I hope Milne sees sense and does the right thing, I really do. It would be hard to avoid the SPL but it'd be just a hard to give a flying hoot about it, it will have lost all integrity and point
  8. I'm not one for using twitter but on the BBC websites live updates there was a lot of #NoToNewco going on so had a wee look. The amount of Rangers fans posting it thinking its about saving their beloved team is unreal. Someone tell them that it's far too late for that and they will be liquidated. Oh how they make me laugh
  9. I'm about 99% sure that the way it works is; All 12 teams (including Rangers) get a vote There has to be a 8-4 majority for the yes vote for Rangers to stay in So basically 5 no's and they are out. I was think the same about Cove (or any other team) applying the the SFL place, absolutely nothing stopping them
  10. Aww gutted, thought I was gonna be last with 38%... Now I'm not a stupid person but some of those questions are just impossible to know off the top of your head, you can't even have an educated guess at them. Like the percentage of people that go to worship or the percentage of UK residents that are Muslim, why would anyone have that knowledge?? It just reminds me of questions you get on those quiz machines you get at the pub. They ask you 9 questions like "What is the opposite of hot?" then when you've one more question to win a tenner they come out with "How many goals did Freddie Jones score for Exeter City in the 1955-56 season?" that not even the guy himself could answer... Don't see the point of it at all with those type of questions
  11. Pretty sure this is nonsense but heard a rumour he was at the Cove-Formartine game today and had talks with Formartine... Dunno if my wish for it to be true is blinding me from the fact its probably a load of shit or not. Edit - Just heard it was on a twitter page and it was a loan. And someone at the game says its bull
  12. Just read there was an option for the whole staff/players to take a 75% pay cut with no redundancies which is likely to be refused. What a bunch of odious cunts. That way no one loses their job but they refuse to accept meaning people will now lose their job. I don't give one flying fuck about the club or anyone to do with it but surely at a time like this you all knuckle down as a team. Whats 75% to most of their players?? Still a 4 figure sum each week... Shocking really
  13. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17130755?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=sportsound SPL are to investigate the secretarian singing on Saturday
  14. I was thinking. If Rangers vs Celtic 4 times a year is stipulated in Sky's tv deal then surely this is also the main stumbling block in expanding the league. More teams means play each other twice and no tv deal... So surely if the huns do goto fuck and there a choice to let them back in the SPL or div 3 then boards must reject them into the SPL and get the league expanded asap. Surely despite what peoples views are on whether the league needs Rangers on not that most agree that we need to expand the league and have a pyramid system. This would be the perfect oppurtunity. And lets not kid ourselves, the Huns will be back in no time anyway. Hopefully by then the bigger league is successful and that attracts tv deals... Okay, I'm getting a bit carried away but this could be the best thing to happen for the long term future of our game
  15. Well yeah, if the other team always chose to kick off on winning the toss then we're always gonna have the first choice on end (Presuming we pick our end instead of choosing to kick off on winning the toss) See I'm surprised if teams do have this superstition/trend of shooting at certain way first that teams don't pick the opposite way if they win the toss just to piss them off. I know its pretty trivial and all that but just a little bit of mind games. We could possibly have changed this season for a game or two. This aint something I've been studying in detail but just noticed it always seemed to stay the same
  16. Well aye, of course. But the DDS is more crowded and get a bigger roar going that way. That's what I meant
  17. Just querying how we always seem to shoot towards the Beach end in the 2nd half. I know it's probably just because we're shooting towards our fans but also just wondered a few things. Like when was the last time we shot towards the beach end in the 1st half?? (Personally I can't recall a time we have) Is it a club superstition?? Does it stem from something or just something that happens?? And is it common within other clubs or is it something we do?? Just noticed over the years that it always happens and now curiosity has got the better of me
  18. Did you see the Huns greeting on the STV news about how now if the buy a season ticket in the next 4 years that the money goes to Ticketus and not to the club, even suggesting that it would put them off buying one. Don't they understand the concept of a loan? They just got given £24M just like that for doing fuck all. These people make me cringe, just go bust then fuck off and die please
  19. I see, well that's sounding better already... Unfortunately even missing the UEFA license deadline will probably just mean lost revenue for one home game.
  20. I think these cunts are gonna get away with this. Look at the timing, just after the January window so they don't have to sell players. Long enough before the end of the season to avoid being docked points next year and to be out of administation in time to get a UEFA license for next season to play in Europe. Whyte will buy back the assets with another of his companies... With them appointing their own administrator then all I can see is the creditors getting fucked over instead of the Huns. I'm fucking gutted they made the 3:30 deadline, if it was a court appointed administrator then I'm sure they'd be fucked. Someone please tell me I'm wrong, someone please tell me they will be fucked anyway and they are gonna rot in hell, pretty pretty please... This should be a joyous day for all

Love liver but prefer Ox liver and good stuff fae the butcher rather that supermarket stuff. Been informed Re. the suggestion on deep fried liver that as liver is already quite dry when cooked that its not the best thing for deep frying. On a side note my peckish and theres liver in the fridge, its tempting after reading this but its a wee bit late for cooking..... Will have to wait til Monday, got a nice joint of gammon for imorn
  22. I don't buy into the "he's turned us down so fuck him" and all that. Theres a reason why we've kept trying to sign him, he's a decent player. I would like to hope and think we've a better starting 11 now he's been signed. Gotta give him a chance at the very least
  23. Line calls have fucked him. He's had chances
  24. Djokovic is like a boxer on the ropes and Murray just won't fucking punch him. God only knows why Murray isn't racing through the 3rd set
