  1. few seasons ago i would have snapped your hand off for boyd, 2bh he could probably still do a job for any team in the league given his predatorial instinct. I would rather play Anderson though, his goal on sunday was first class and any of the top drawer pen box stikers to play in red would have been proud of it. The baggio from banf stikes again!
  2. Hibs on a wee bit of a tailspin at the moment so will be coming north with a point to prove. Could be a very interesting game, the way jobs like to play will leave space at the back. It will be very interesting to see how we line up for this. May has made a good case for a start, as has Anderson.
  3. Boyd said on sportsound last week if dm wanted him he would sort out afc's scoring problem. It was tongue in cheek but the fact he even said it indicates he doesn't hate Aberdeen. It's all just a bit of banter and I think folk need to stop being so precious about it.
  4. Boyd is a panto villain and nothing else. I found it all highly amusing.
  5. Imo we are missing Maclean in the middle of the park big time. He was a player who was always looking to get the ball regardless of whether he had a player around him and we have not been able to dominate a midfield since he left really. Re May, I think some of you are being very harsh. Both goals yesterday came from really good build up play from him. His ball through to shinnie that led to the free kick was excellent. All in it's been a very good weeks work from AFC. Big test on friday coming but we have reasons to be optimistic.
  6. The only thing I disagree with there is I really like Lennon. I could listen to him talk about football all day, he's amusing, insightful and honest.
  7. Killie fan I was working with today reckons Stewart is out for this one.
  8. Struck by a coin by a Jambo after telling the crowd to calm down after hearts had a goal disallowed. Some fud on the radio saying that he brought it on himself as a result. I disagree, if you're going to give it out suck it up when you get it back.
  9. simmie
  10. Take that all day long. Sets us up nicely for a tough trip to rugby park on sunday.
  11. He's become quite the cult hero hasn't he, he clearly loves the club.
  12. Given the number of freebies given to sponsors etc that pretty much is 50/50
  13. I felt a large part of Wright's performance was no service at all related. We were bypassing the midfield for mcginn and gms for large parts of that game and he didn't get much of a sniff. I think may will start this with wilson or cosgrove given he had an impact when he came on. I hope we don't get cocky, Hamilton can be an easy game but they can also be a giant banana skin if you don't take them seriously. Consi is out according to the ee.
  14. I thought May did fine when he came on 2bh.
  15. I don't think smith dealt with naking mistakes very well. Some players can shrug them off quite easily but I recall his head going down easy.
  16. Aye that would be about right, scottish cup was before that and that's the end of season
  17. Get a room ffs
  18. he signed on a one season long loan.
  19. Thought he did fine, especially defensively. I hear Ferguson got mom, I thought a large part of the game passed him by until he scored but he took that well enough. Great bounce when it went in too. Wonder how many are wishing they had gone now......
  20. He's a pantomime villain and should be treated as such.
  21. Ps feeling quite confident for this one, the team is starting to gel and we are looking pretty solid. It's a credit to Considine that McKenna isn't too noticeable in his absence.
  22. We had a pop at Celtic at the san giro last month.
  23. Don't care, still want to go. I think AFC have reacted brilliantly throughout this whole mess and this is not the time for hissy fits. If the club were complicit then fair enough but there's a cup final up for grabs for goodness sake. Don't do that, don't tell me how well I saw that match. Attending that game was one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life and I wouldn't swap any part of it, stadium included. I say again, to everyone reading this post. If you are able to attend this cup semi final against our most hated rival then I implore you to do so. Quite frankly, it's pretty fucking pathetic I should even have to be posting this.
  24. I was right behind the goal at the other end of the park the last time we beat oldco at hampden. The view was absolutely fine that evening I can assure you. In my opinion any aberdeen fan able to attend this match should do so regardless of the surrounding hyperbole. Our team will need us.
  25. Paaaaaaahahahhahaha. have a simmie.
