  1. Lotto numbers please mate
  2. Mcrorie must be rb
  3. He's fucking brilliant on Co comms on red TV. Good eye for the game and loves the dons. There's no negatives to this as best I can tell
  4. Here's a thought I have from time to time. Would you have Anderson back?
  5. St J would need to win all remaining games and we need to lose ours to be caught by them. It should be done in other words.
  6. This may seem a bit deluded but there's a player in bates imo.... we ain't seeing it right now though for sure. I can't help but wonder that Gallagher might be a lost cause though. I think he can only play in a 3 2bh as a big lump of meat in the middle. He's basically a shit Phillip Senderos. Our dodgy defence aside I honestly don't give a fuck how well or otherwise we played. We won, St johnstone lost, I think we can all relax and look forward to the rebuild now. A lot of hearts, hibs and Jute fans I have slated for being tinpot yo yo clubs were getting far to bolshy recently.
  7. Mark kerr being captain of our club still gives me the dry boke whenever I think about it... Like right now
  8. Utterly fucking dreading this
  9. My feeling is the hunt for a keeper is because lewis has said he wants to go at the end of the season.. Glass was looking at Clarke and given his career trajectory he's not someone who would be signing for a club as a no 2. Same with Alnwick. In short, I think we need a new keeper. He's had a rocky few seasons by his own standards but Lewis is still in the top 3-4 in the league so not an easy replace. Assuming Lewis, Ramsey and fergie all go, and personally I would be be surprised if 1 was here come next season, it's some rebuild we have to do this summer. Can anyone remember the last time we had such a turnover?
  10. I would like to see us go a back 3 to be honest. Get bates on his right foot, Gallagher in the centre and consi on the left.
  11. Do you know what I'm going to give credit where its due despite the shite result. They never gave up today, even when 2 down and a man down. That gives me some hope for the last 4 games. It really is shaping up for a last game showdown against St J isn't it . The referee was as bad as I've seen since collum in his early years, how do you get booked for being punched in the face? Both Mcrorie yellows were soft, especially the first. Cunt
  12. Sake
  13. Whatever else you want to say about Cormack he's brought a lot of investment into the club. There was a good here we go podcast where they had former director Hugh Little on https://afcherewego.podbean.com/e/tropical-iceland/ I could have listened to him all day but 2 things in particular caught my ear. Firstly he reckons cormack and his American chums are into Aberdeen to the tune of over 20 million, secondly funso ojo is in the top wage bracket (better part of 5k a year) which is bonkers. 20 million investment in a Scottish club that isn't the ugly sisters is virtually unheard of in our league. The only comparisons are bonettis dundee and Romanovs hearts but clearly we are not spunking it unsustainable.
  14. You could just see that coming after the vinny got booked for being punched in the face. #gamesabogey
  15. A part of me is pleased. I'm very worried about getting drawn into the relegation dogfight and at least now we can't play a DM Killie side in a playoff
  16. My first thought was he probably a bit old but it turns out he is only 30 so potentially could get a few decent seasons out of him. Won't lose any sleep if it doesn't happen though.
  17. Noooooooooope

    Ramsay

Aye, no danger robbo wouldn't take him under his wing a wee bit.

Normally I would agree but in this case I'm not so sure. I mean, Liverpool are genuinely one of the top 3 clubs in the world right now and probably will be for a while yet. You could argue that just training regularly with that squad, manager and coaching staff could improve him more as a player than slugging it out in the Scottish top flight for another year. Regardless though I don't think there can be any argument that if Liverpool come calling CR would turn down the move to establish himself in the Aberdeen team. Paterson is a fair point but he was signed by benitez whom was binned within a fortnight for lampard. Klopp has a far better record at developing talented youth than any of Patersons managers so far and tends to be a fairly small squad manager. As a result anyone he brings in usually gets some game time given the number of games Liverpool play so I would have a bit more optimism at CR getting a fair crack at the whip at anfield.
  20. Fwiw condolences for your loss.
  21. Agreed. The problem is a lot of the squad know they are on their way in the summer and will be more wary of injury. Livi is must win for me or we are in real danger of getting dragged into it.
  22. So out the door for sure are Jenks JET Considine Mcgeoch Ojo Montgomery Devlin Probably out the door are Lewis Ramirez Ferguson Rumoured to be leaving but who knows Maclennan Campbell (though Goodwin hasn't seen him train yet so I think this is nonsense at the mo) Gallagher (would be surprised myself if he left) Ramsey (not sure about this one, he's massively dipped in form but the potential is clearly there) Mackenzie Woods Most likely to still be here next season Vinny Mcrorie Watkins Barron Hayes Kennedy Bates (still two years left on his deal, he's going nowhere unless someone is prepared to take him from us) Polvara Obviously, this is going to be a very busy window for the club. It's never ideal to have such a big turnover but on occasion you can be left with little choice like we are. Could be a really tricky start to next season for us too like County had this season after their huge turnover in the summer. On the flip side though it does make it much easier for the manager to put his own stamp on the team and clear away the remnants of the last two regimes which still linger heavily.
  23. I would rather have avoided the English 2bh purely on the selfish grounds of I don't know if I can go through this again so fucking soon after the last one I was a complete nervous wreck for at 4 days in the build up to that. On further investigation the Americans are not to be taken lightly even remotely. Their front line in particular is a bit potent. Pulisic, reyna and weah who are all playing CL football. That's a tough opening game for us but defo winnable at the same time. I would take a point right now if you offered it though. I can't pretend I know anything about Iranian football but they have usually at least been competitive in the past. No pushover anyway but again very winnable. The England game takes care of itself but as the last group game they might be through already. Then again, so might we . All that is sure is that it's going to be so fucking stressful should we make it.
  24. Yeah he is good on Co comms 2bf
  25. Yep, impossible to argue with this. I didn't mind giving him a bit of time as he defo looked a player when he first came into the team but its just getting fucking ridiculous now.
