My big concern at the mo is euro registration rules. 25 places, 4 of which must be homegrown at club (which is trained at the club for at least 3 years before they are 21) and 8 must be homegrown in country (same rules but at any scottish club). For every place you can't fill with one or the other or both you lose a space in your squad. Eg you only have 3 players trained at club and 8 trained in country you can only register 24 players. Players under 21 don't need to be registered as long as they have been at the club for two years. At the moment we have 4 scots in the squad over 21. Shinnie, Devlin, Duncan and Milne so as things stand we can only register 21 players to play in Europe. Currently, assuming that the 4 above are registered, that would mean not registering one of: Suman, Nilsen, Polvara, Gueye, Palaversa, Yengi, Clarkson, Sokler, Morris, Rubezic, Topi, Milanovic, Molloy, Mitov, Gyamfi, Jensen, Knoester or Tobers. Not included in that list as I suspect they won't be here by then is Richard Jensen , Ambrose and Vinny. When it's looked at like this I think we need to be moving on Ruby and probably Sokler as well and replacing them with Scots. I tell you what, it maybe wouldn't be the worst idea in the world to have a look at bringing Bruce Anderson back perhaps. He's trained at club and absolutely capable at SPFL level. Given we have 4 centre halves all of whom are JT picked you could argue we don't really need Ruby anyway so it wouldn't necessarily have to be a like for like replacement for him.

He looks more than a little bit handy 2bf. He also looks quite happy playing on either side too which is quite rare. Could be he's one of those players you can play anywhere across the front line. If someone is going out I suppose it's also not impossible it's Keskinen after his euro U21 showing. Duncan is no winger imo, I would say he's an inside forward. He's not a get to the byline and cross it in kinda player but he's not awful on the ball and has a ping on him. Stick him on the right and have him cut in on his left with the rb overlapping and he could be effective for a team..... I don't think that team is going to be us unless he we have some sort of injury crisis.

It will all depend if they can carry last seasons form into next season. If they do they have a chance and if they don't 5-0 is probably about right.

I would normally wince at the dons paying that much for a player but we know he would be worth it. Yeah, the late equaliser against the Netherlands was bitter sweet to watch. I wanted Finland to win but I also want them out ASAP. If they do progress though he's probably going to need an extra week off when the squad report back for pre season.
