  1. I suspect I'm fairly solitary on the board with this opinion but I would still give him the season and that's not going to change unless I genuinely start fearing relegation could be a thing. That said I think it was Panda that said yesterday that this was the first time his faith had been shaken in the manager which I can understand. Cormack has a big decision to make though and imo if he's going to stick he needs to make that comprehensively known so the support backs off a bit. Given the lack of news from the club so far it would seem he's going to get the Killie game at least. After that we have a week off (much needed imo) then November is Larnaca away, motherwell, hearts and noah at home then livi away. Plenty winnable games there. I said a few months ago I thought the first half of the season was going to be tough so for me this isn't overly unexpected. I do still think we will have a very strong second half of the season if we keep Thelin though.
  2. After the gubbing of last night this game defo has a must not lose feel to it now. At least we are at home as i would not fancy much at ER. In A96 Main A96 Think there will be goals, 2 each maybe?
  3. That's brutal
  4. I it back, they look just as good as shaktar
  5. I suspect that advice comes from UEFA and not the club itself.
  6. Seems a bit of a half baked appointment. Hun social media doesn't seem to have seen its mood rise much either, I guess they are just gonna Rohl with it....
  7. Rohl wasn't seen as a done deal though but doesn't help them he ruled himself out.
  8. The gift that keeps giving just gave again. Not a good look having your two top targets knock you back so publicly after it was supposed to be a done deal. The chances of them getting even a solid, no frills, appointment are virtually nil now and their fans know it and are suitably raging. According to the hun socials Thelwell and Stuart are the big problems and there's a lot of disenchantment about the American owners too. What a difference a few months make.
  9. It's a free swing at a team that's better than us is how I'm looking at it. I doubt they are better than shaktar though and we gave them a decent game at a times.
  10. Phillips was excellent today, arguably mom
  11. Looks like we have a no 9 again folks. What A Fucking Goal Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas
  12. Either Devlin or Molloy at lwb you would think. Probably Devlin
  13. Will take any kind of win at all 2bh but it would be amazing to get a convincing one. It would also be a very good thing if we could get Lazetic off the mark today.
  14. I'm pretty nervous about it 2bh Al. A win would be massive and really gives us impetus going into the Athens game but they have a great record against us. A draw wouldn't be awful but a defeat would have a back to square one feel to it. Their form has been a bit more patchy than usual though and as long as we stick to 3 at the back I can see us coping with their physical front line pretty well. If we show up going forward like we did against Dundee in the first half we have a great chance.
  15. It's been reported in the Swedish press Jimmy Thelin on the list of possible national captains Updated today 14:49 Published today 14:08 Jimmy Thelin from Jönköping is on the list of possible replacements for Jon Dahl Thomasson as the new captain of the Swedish men's national football team. This is according to information provided to SVT Nyheter Jönköping. Jimmy Thelin is currently coaching Aberdeen in the Scottish Premier League where he has had a tough start to the season. The team is last in the table after seven games. This after last season's success where Aberdeen won the Scottish Cup for the first time in 35 years. Current again Jimmy Thelin was also in the running as the new national team captain the last time the position was filled, when Jon Dahl Tomasson was hired. And after the announcement on Tuesday that Jon Dahl Tomasson was fired, Jimmy is once again on the association's list of possible new national team captains. Jimmy Thelin made a breakthrough as a coach when he took Jönköpings Södra to the Allsvenskan in 2015 and then moved on to Elfsborg where, among other things, there were two second places in the Allsvenskan. SVT has applied for Jimmy Thelin.
  16. I honestly think it would be suicide to revert to a back 4, especially against our bogey team of the past few years.
  17. Great win, shit performance. That is all.
  18. Couldn't resist a wee squadge on hun social media when I heard slippy had pulled out. This comment had me howling, you couldn't make it up.
  19. I doubt Armstrong is on his radar 2bh given the wealth of cm's we have.
  20. Floodlight robbery
  21. Lampard, who has done fairly well 2bf at Coventry but no-where else really, is latest to be linked. I supect that would probably be hilarious as well. Of all the names linked the only one so far that worries me is Mcinnes who would likely knock it out the park.
  22. Bad enough seeing him at Tynecastle
  23. I've rewatched Karlssons second a few times I must admit. Love the twinkle toes
  24. Well, that was most pleasing. We are really starting to click as a football team now shame it's the international break 2bh.
