  1. Just when you thought it couldnt possibly get any more farcical
  2. The utd game is probably going to be the one that decides who gets the last euro spot and will be game of the season. Its a kick in the teeth that we prob wont take as big numbers as we normally do........... then again aberdeen virtually always choke when we travel in numbers so maybe not all bad
  3. A few years back i was playing 5's in a tournament in inverness. One of the teams managed to get the then ict manager john robertson down to play for them. Little cunt to play against, really strong on the ball and was pinging them in from all over. Some players are just more able to get into a game quickly than others when coming off the bench. To me this would be a combination of instinct and, as you say, having enough upstairs when watching from the sidelines to figure out how to go about the business when taken on.
  4. Replacement for fergahun perhaps? The guy is clearly talented but the current hype is pretty much all based on 4 goals in as many games, the last two being pretty tasty obviously helps
  5. Nice to see some optimism, not sure i buy into it but you never know. With zander out its time for andy considine to stand up and be counted, I've always thought he's got potential he just needs to stay focused for the whole 90 minutes.
  6. Bump Some ping by dorman at the weekend
  7. Lets face it no-one has an issue with smith as a player but enough is enough
  8. Dude thats cold

    Summer

    Nice
  10. Nah thats just a side affect. the pre-requisite is to be a cunt
  11. Back on topic, recently i have been watching battlestar galactica, terminator the scc and as ever south park. The new series of south park has been a little disapointing if you ask me
  12. Ha! Are you one of those fetishists that gets turned on by repulsive things jim? E.g. do you find yourself getting an irrational woody when you see the home crowd at ibrox?

    Summer

That sounds mint, how many of you going? Beats the shit out of a package holiday to england in the sun
  14. Oh shit yeah i remember that, i had to drive to wales and thankfully didnt see it
  15. Lois theroux really does have balls of steel. Tonights one was really creepy though, virtually all the peado's had slicked back hair and dodgy tash's. I found it repulsive even looking at them at times
  16. The moment i saw him on it i knew they would show his goal against scotland. He's up there with ricksen and durrant as the hun i enjoyed giving abuse to the most
  17. I remember the hearts game roundabout christmas my mate said it was starting to get embarassing how much JDV was taking the hearts full back to the cleaners. Both were classy players (relative to the league they were playing in) who had the ability to put their foot on the ball and pick a pass. Both in the infinite wisdom of mr calderwood were rarely used. i never understood why.
  18. The worst part was he was finally putting in some decent performances. I always quite liked JDV, never understood why JC never played him especially as you say when smith is contributing very little due to injury
  19. Cant believe ibrox is being televised! Fucking love it if we stuffed them there on tv! Actually, I wonder when the last time that fixture was televised
  20. I dont think our attendances are helped by the fact that there is a lot foreign invaders working in the oil industry that have moved to aberdeen. No danger most of them give a shit about aberdeen or even scottish football
  21. Aye think its time jamie started packing his bags, its sad because on form he's one of the most talented players in the league and im positive he will come back to haunt us at some point. Can see him going to hibs if he does leave. Losing zander is a massive blow and sad as it is to say i think both injuries will call time on our push for europe. i just cant see us being tight enough at the back to get the needed results. Didnt hear any post match comments but if it wouldn't surprise me from calderwood Manc don
  22. Aye when he's up against jinky mcjinky he's hopeless, he's not so bad against more static players
  23. Aye thats unarguably a good thing but i would have thought it prudent to have a percentage of profit clause, especially for seasons like last year when we filled pittodrie a lot more than we have done in recent years. I appreciate its kinda having your cake and eating it though
  24. Interesting, i didnt know that. Doesnt sound the best the best of deals to be honest.
  25. I would play him as a holding midfielder, let him move the ball about and maybe even try to dictate the play
