  1. Think Jeffries will be a shoe in for this one I would be postively astounded if JC got the gig. Don't think there is any love lost between Jimmy and that clown Yorkston, never mind the fans. On the subject of Yorkston, not exactly a man of his word. No more than four or five months since I heard him on Radio Scotland going on about McIntyre is the best young manager in Scotland and how even if they got relegated they would be standing by him
  2. Agreed, don't think I've ever left Pittodrie on such a high
  3. Surely though given the fact that you've done as I asked, so its a yes, then the pie chart should be all green for yes, not totally blue for no
  4. The fuck is that Can we not just have a good old pie chart
  5. No problem, they are one of these groups that depending upon my mood, my favourite track of theirs changes from day to day. Good place to start with them if you're interested is to download "34th & 8th" http://www.amazon.co.uk/34th-8th-Us-Import-R/dp/B0002C4IPE/ref=sr_1_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1331899638&sr=1-1 Not suggesting you pay Amazon's price, obviously there are plenty of places to download from
  6. Chelski - tick Real Madrid - tick Athletico Bilbao - tick Man City - tick Schalke - tick Olympiakos - CUNTS of the highest order......1-0 up with nine minutes to go, and concede two
  7. FFS Man City two down...
  8. Man City nothing each Olympiacos 1-0 up Schalke 1-0 Hun Cunts
  9. Discovered this group on a trip to New York about six years ago, absolutely fucking love them, although doubt anyone other than MBT and MentorRed will have heard of them as virtually unknown over here and to best of knowledge have only played the Isle of Wight Festival in the UK.
  10. To be honest this is the first season for a long time I'm showing a profit mate. Take it you're not wanting a pint pre Scottish Cup final off the winnings Bobby
  11. Great result.......half way to a two hundred pound pay out on a six game accumulator Plus the fact........I fucking hate Man Ure
  12. Never really got into Jethro Tull, but maybe I should revisit it as it might have grown on me with age. Interesting that Ian Anderson who I have met on a number of occassions actually formed his first band the year I was born
  13. Doubt it'll make one bit of difference, however he does have a valid point. A North-east politician has called on the Scottish Football Association to reconsider the timing of Aberdeen’s William Hill Scottish Cup semi-final clash against Hibernian. MSP Mark McDonald, an Aberdeen supporter, is concerned that Dons fans travelling from the Granite City will struggle to make it to Hampden in time for the 12.15pm kick-off on April 14. The match is due to be screened live on Sky Sports and BBC. Mr McDonald has tabled a motion in parliament calling on the SFA to “consider changing the time so that it suits supporters rather than television schedules.” He said: "This decision smacks of pandering to the television producers rather than showing the slightest interest in the needs of the ordinary supporters. "The SFA needs to rethink this decision and show some common sense. It is not just fans who will be travelling from Aberdeen who will be inconvenienced, there are supporters further north who will have to leave extremely early in the morning to travel. "It is high time the needs of the supporter were placed at the centre of decision making, and I urge the SFA to think again on the timing of the match."
  14. Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
  15. He's a fucking gooner...enough said
  16. And there rests the case for the prosecution m'lud All these lazy bastards up north that can't be bothered making a six hour round trip for the semi final, that'll be beating the door down at Pittodrie for final tickets if we make it
  17. ABERDEEN striker Rory Fallon could be set for a sensational move to the MLS. The Kiwi star was watched by Toronto director of player development Paul Mariner on Sunday as he fired Dons into the Scottish Cup semis with a double at Fir Park Mariner had Dons duo Fallon and Kari Arnason at Plymouth during his short spell as boss two seasons ago. Toronto are also in the market for a central defender after axing Ecuadorian Geovanny Caicedo last week and Well defender Tim Clancy, who's out of contract this summer, could also be on former England striker Mariner's radar. Although Arnason has turned down a new deal at Dons, it's understood he wasn't the player Mariner travelled to Scotland to watch. Mariner works closely with Toronto coach Aron Winter at the MLS outfit. A Toronto spokesman confirmed: "Paul was in town attending the match. There's nothing more to it than that." 18. Personally I reckon they will bring as bigger support than us. They're desperate to break that Scottish Cup record of over hundred years without winning it. For the bulk of their support it'll be a journey of less than an hour along the M8, whereas for the bulk of our support it'll be the guts of a three hour journey both ways.
  19. Right hadn't had the benefit of seeing their goal on tv at the point I posted that, and on refelction now that I have, its got to be said it was a bit of howler from him. However that moment of madness apart still think he was superb.
  20. Agreed, but lets not forget the HIVS will be viewing it exactly the same way
  21. For the avoidance of doubt to anyone that wasn't there today. Even if Fallon hadn't scored both goals today, he was a worthy contender for MOTM (along with Brown). Thought he led the line superbly. I've been amongst his biggest critics but not today. Well done Rory, but as Kow says, lets keep it going
  22. Superb today and inspired confidence in my opinion. Could have done better with their goal BUT more than made up for it for the rest of he game
  23. http://www.afc.co.uk/articles/20120311/jens-petersen-remembered_2212158_2645103 Vaguely remember him, he left just about the time of my first memories of going to games on a regular basis RIP Jens.
  24. Funny because it is probably pretty close to the mark in terms of how it'll be reported
  25. SSN confirming that Davies, Naismith, McGregor and Whittaker as biggest wage earners have all agreed to the 75% cut.
