    Kris Boyd

20111219. Boyd leaving Turkey Scotland striker departs Eskisehirspor after unhappy spell Last Updated: December 19, 2011 2:12pm . Kris Boyd has terminated his contract with Turkish club Eskisehirspor and has started legal proceedings against them for alleged loss of earnings. The Scottish Premier League's all-time highest goalscorer has left the club only five months after he signed a lucrative three-year contract from Middlesbrough. Boyd's agent, Mark Donaghy, has confirmed that the former Rangers and Scotland striker will be available to join another club in next month's transfer window. "Kris has triggered a release clause in his contract." Donaghy told Sky Sports News. Legal process "His contract has been terminated because of late payments and a legal process is now under way. He will now head back to the UK." It's believed Boyd has yet to receive a monthly salary from Eskisehirspor after he received a signing-on fee in July. Eskisehirspor are currently five points behind leaders Galatasaray, and are understood to have made repeated requests for Boyd to stay. Boyd featured in just two games for Eskisehirspor during his stint with the club - playing just 76 minutes of football all season. ============================================ Anyone fancy a wager on where he'll end up. That give Rankgers the excuse to punt Jelly Belly for a few quid and replace him with a cheap option
  2. Exactly, another chance to curry favour missed by Stewarty
  3. I thought he was back in full training a few weeks ago Agree it all seems to have gone quiet about him again
  4. Almost moved to tears reading that A very sad reflection of just how things have really declined Hat off to all those involved
  5. Welcome to the board loon, get yourself properly introduced in here, http://www.donstalk.co.uk/messageboard/index.php?topic=64.0
  6. Imagine Brown will come out with his typical "I'm not going to blame the officials"
  7. WTF Pawlett off That is a shocklng decision by the linesman. Pawlett attempted to block the pass and it was his trailing leg that made contact. High time we did a Lennon and stood up for ourselves. We are seriously being cheated by the officials
  8. Missed the first half hour, what happened to Chalali
  9. Scott Vernon Looks a very soft penalty award, but hey ho time we got a break
  10. Was wondering that myself the other day. Its not like him. Hope all is ok
  11. George isn't bright enough to think of that though
  12. Dave, do you still believe in Santa
  13. If Ian Black plays for Hearts on Saturday, sure he'll do something to rectify that statistic. Unless of course he is too knackered from the homers he has been doing this week
  14. Wonder how many of those that were blinkered at the outset and licking his boots, still think he is their knight in shining armour. Was joking the other night that even if we finish bottom this year the collapse of HMFC or RFC could still keep us in the top league
  15. Not difficult to calculate, but there are other variables such as period and rate of interest you would need to factor in
  16. In/Oot: Oot Pre match: Walking the dog Match: In front of the tele Post match: Fuck knows Prediction: 2-0 Dons Attendance: 7987
  17. A stroke of genius from a master tactician, or just a fluke I'll leave you to make up your own mind on that one
  18. McArdle is wanted elsewhere
  19. As always two sides to every argument guys. Not sure how much those of us in favour are actually allowing sentimentality to cloud our judgement though
  20. Anyone going tomorrow night
  21. Derby contract cancellation confirmed on their official site. Might just be some truth in the Sun story http://www.dcfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10270~2543077,00.html
  22. SSN apparently reporting that his contract at Derby has been cancelled by mutual consent.
  23. Curtis Mayfield - The Anthology 1961 -1977
  24. In fairness that is the ONLY way that this could possibly work for us. No way can we afford to spunk a wage on someone with that injury history. Might be good to have around the place, and give the club a wee lift, christ knows we need one
  25. Lifted from today's online Sun. As per usual not a single quote to back up any of this. RUSSELL ANDERSON is edging closer to an emotional return to hometown team Aberdeen. SunSport can reveal the former Dons captain is in talks with Derby to have his contract paid up and become an instant free agent. Veteran Anderson, 33, is recovering from a hamstring injury and has only six months left of his Rams deal. County boss Nigel Clough is happy for the ex-Scotland stopper to leave without a fee and it's believed Anderson's already been invited to continue his rehab at Pittodrie. For now it's merely a friendly gesture for a hugely popular former player who made over 300 appearances for Aberdeen between 1996-2007 and was given a testimonial. But it's believed Dons boss Craig Brown is poised to make him a pay-as-you-play offer for at least the rest of the season. Anderson is keen to take his family back north after four years in England. He left for Sunderland in a £1million move and had high hopes of making a big impact in the Premiership. But cruel injury problems wrecked his ambitions at the Stadium of Light and the man who signed him, Roy Keane, was sacked. Anderson has also played for Plymouth and Burnley. Brown is desperate to bring in experienced players to bolster Aberdeen's fight for SPL survival and has tried before for Ando. The timing wasn't right then, but it now looks perfect. Brown, though, will be anxious to discover when Anderson will be available for action again. Under-pressure Dons gaffer Brown needs to strengthen a defence which let slip a 2-0 lead against St Mirren on Saturday.
