  1. Assured of a warm welcome anytime he returns to Aberdeen. Apart from the obvious highlight of netting his penalty on 24th May '25, I'd like to thank him for the goal in Frankfurt

  3. He looks a topper mate So sorry to hear that he passed over the rainbow bridge. People that don't understand the real bond between a human and their dog often think they are being helpful and react by saying "Aye, but you'll get another dog" whilst not understanding you haven't lost a dog but a family member. Eighteen months is about the time we waited between losing our lovely cross collie/lab and getting our black lab. He'll be twelve this year and already I worry about how I'm going to cope when he passes. As I run my business from my home office, he spends every day in my company.
  4. So guys, the talk when the window opened was a goalkeeper, a central defender, a defensive midfielder, a striker and a winger. Just over three days to go and we have got all of those apart from the winger. Anyone got any realistic idea of potential targets to fill that position

  14. https://www.afc.co.uk/2026/01/29/nigerian-midfielder-completes-move-to-dons/ Afeez Aremu has today joined Aberdeen on a permanent transfer from German side 1. FC Kaiserslautern. The 26-year-old joins the Dons on a deal until 2028, subject to visa formalities and international clearance. The Nigerian international becomes the club’s fifth signing of the January window, following the arrivals of Lyall Cameron, Liam Morrison, Toyosi Olusanya, and Per Kristian Bråtveit. The defensive midfielder, known for his physical presence, was a target Dons Sporting Director Lutz Pfannenstiel was keen to secure in the January transfer window. “Afeez is going to bring a real physical edge to the squad, something which I think we have been looking for”, said Pfannenstiel. “He’s strong, robust and comes with good experience in a competitive environment in Germany. “He also is tactically aware so combined with all his athletic attributes we believe he can adapt well to the intensity of the Scottish game and make a real impact.” Having arrived in Aberdeen to complete his move, Afeez is ready to embrace a new opportunity in Scotland. He said: “I’m excited to be here. I’ve been made to feel really welcome, and I can’t wait to get started. “I like new challenges and I think Aberdeen offers that. For me, I am growing and taking the next step in my career so it’s a huge move. “I’m an aggressive player but I have other attributes to my game. “There is a lot to play for this season. There is a chance to move forward, and I want to strengthen the team to help them achieve good things. “I’m ready to give everything every time I put the shirt on and look forward to playing in front of the fans.” RedTV subscribers can watch an exclusive interview with Afeez now.

  17. Even allowing for the 25% sell on fee due by them to Millwall that is a fantastic bit of business by Hibs if it goes through. Between us with the now Hun bastard, Motherwell with Lennon and this, it is good to see non arse cheek clubs starting to get half decent fees for players
  18. Permanent
  19. Now being reported that Aremu deal all agreed, awaiting granting of a work permit and hopefully registered by the weekend
  20. This is one of these scenarios where there will be no winners, only losers. Regardless of the outcome of any enquiry, a lot of folk will always have their own opinion of what may or may not of happened unfortunately
