Interesting. I’m reading about how good a week he had. Davos, strengthened connections with other leaders, trade deals, increased access to Greenland for military use, further arctic trade opportunities, other countries taking ownership and responsibility, including financial, meetings with Ukraine, Russia, and china, and a booming US economy. i ignore this thread mostly because it’s all who you read, and what’s believable.

No Kjarten in the squad. We def need some senior established pros in the squad, mid to late 20s, that can support lobban Milne Kjarten frame and bilalovic. I really like we’ve seen them all play of late. happy to see Nilsen Jensen gyamfi polvara lose minutes to these guys.

Wrong thread but polvara doesn’t belong in Scottish football. Nice guy but not suited, totally ok with him going to hib or hun. Surely polvara and Barron money gets us Cameron.

Edit, still 3-1, Cameron scores not Clarkson, looking forward to this. How bad are the weather conditions?

Interesting no polvara or Morrison in the squad. Would have preferred Clarkson over Armstrong, but a little better balance in center mid. Still lightweight and we lack height.

I’m going 3-1 us, just a feeling. Ideally jack Milne moved into defensive mid with Clarkson and Cameron, Morrison at the back. Topi right wing and bilalovic on the left, although both tend to play jnverted so doesnt matter who is on what side. Shinnie initially at left back. Frame or gyamfi when he’s gassed, I don’t think it matters between those two. I’d play frame to develop a Scot, I don’t really rate gyamfi. goals from nisbet Clarkson and olusanya.

Really hoping we go all out and get a proper center mid and a winger before the window closes. Obviously we need more but these two would def help us enjoy the rest of the season. Also hoping we punt a few more in the next week. a simmie and a cross between Peter weir and shady mo please!

Re olusanya, looks like a player who’d play alongside nisbet or lazetic. Are we planning on two up top?? Certainly gives us a different look, just as long as he doesn’t continue his scoring against us. Or do we see him shunted out to right mid for the Morris role?

So that’s Olusanya in the door, who is next? We’ve been linked with graham at Dundee and Stanway at thistle, any other noise out there? From what I read both of those Scottish boys would be decent additions. Stanway a holding mid? Winger?? interesting there’s been no movement with David Watson to anyone….yet.

We need a core group to establish culture. Without that the team has no identity. We have shinnie and Devin, and that’s pretty much it. Hard to gain success when you patch a team of random folk together every year. Players like Watson, the two current loaners, Milne, lobban etc could have a long term influence, but we desperately need a long term shinnie replacement/a captain to lead by example.

I don’t think you can say we’ve appointed worse. While McGhee was a massive failure for example, he had a better track record than Robinson. Glass and robson could have been good with time, I see Robinson not much different to Goodwin. 100% agree strategy and vision which is why I don’t think we hire him. I do think we hire an experienced head with a clear game plan and philosophy, something I think Robinson lacks. While experienced, someone with a clear modern outlook and approach. I do think we have a stronger Scottish presence in the coaching staff. I don’t think leven has the passion or bite we’re looking for. I even wondered if we’d consider adding Barry Robson to the staff prior to him going to cork (whether he’d come was a diff story.) I honestly don’t care how long the process takes, even if it means leven until summer. I also don’t mind if we don’t sign anyone. We went all in on Thelin, and backed him financially, signing a ton of players. We all complained when we had too many loans 2-3 yrs ago, and were happy to sign more. That has backfired and we have a ton of players who aren’t good enough. We have to reduce costs and playing numbers. with karlsson leaving does that allow us another loan? Is it 6 loaners at one time?? I do expect a center mid and a winger coming in, but tough to sign based on what I said, plus kit having a permanent manager in place.

They still owe that, correct? And now they owe Dundee 400k. Perhaps a deal for Cameron can be reached, wipe their debt to us or part of it?? Although I’d expect to pay 600k or more for Cameron.

Rangers told to pay Dundee 400k for Cameron. A factor with us in no loan to buy option since they didn’t know what they owed?? they’ve been told to pay that, do we know what we’re getting for Barron???

Yup. That’s my take. Experienced foreigner and we’ll add a couple of Scots to the coaching staff.
