I think I’m in the majority here, probably not Aberdeen fans in general, but I’m willing to give Thelin time. However, it’s been almost a year since our good run ended and we’ve been shite for the majority of that. That says something, there has not been a knee jerk reaction. Dave is giving him time, but money has been spent and his patience must be running thin. whats eating at me more and more is seeing teams play us, play better than us, more cohesive and attractive football, and win more than us. Falkirk livi Motherwell and hibs all came here and all look better than us on smaller budgets with weaker players. I don’t think all our signings have been great but I think we do have a decent squad (we’re def lacking in places), and for whatever reason, jimmy is not getting the best out of them. Hate to say it, and I know they haven’t been great so far this season, but Stephen Robinson is looking more and more appealing to me. weve signed a lot but the inverted wingers didn’t work, we’re back at a back 3 which is hit or miss, and we’re now seeing a formation that I guarantee was not the plan at the start of the season. Things aren’t good.

I do agree we’ve signed players who may not be good enough, we don’t have a stand out center mid (I’d say Armstrong is our best), and the only legit wide player is a loanee. Weve invested in foreign imports who aren’t showing they are good enough. We’ve also gone all in on inverted wingers which hasn’t worked and I’d kill for the likes of Morris right now, who was also not a legit starter for us.

Didn’t see much of today, had the joy of going to a pumpkin patch with the kids, but from what did see, topi isn’t very good/good enough for what we expect, milanovic looks like he’s getting worse so I assume has no confidence, aouchiche is the new okkels, and nisbet is shit. Makes it hard to be successful when your front 4 / players you expect to get you weekly goals and assists are gash.

I think hearts are playing better than we were, and rangers and Celtic are worse. But it’s 9 games. As much as I want them to fail, I expect Celtic and probably rangers to improve, plus hearts will lose games and face challenges. Their run beating teams helps us catch up, but it’s still too early to predict a top 4.

I wouldn’t call it a 3-4-3, that suggests 3 up top and width from karlsson and aouchiche. I’d say 3-4-2-1 with width from Jensen/devlin and molloy. Aouchiche and karlsson are more like having two 10s who roam.

The two league wins seems to have started our change in fortune, hoping the euro result hasn’t affected us. As said, a win puts us 3 off third and, as expected, everyone is taking points off everyone excepted hearts for now, so a run shoots us right up. Judging by the quiet, think most are like me with no clue what to expect. No clue of lineup, but I do expect a 3-5-2 ish. hope we play well, much like shakhtar, the performance matters as much if not more than the result. 5-0 us, nisbet 4 and mitov penalty in the last min.

As lame as this may sound, I always saw miovski as quite the sensitive type. He thrived on the love and attention he got from us, was close to the type who could do no wrong and we endlessly sang his praises. One of the reasons I felt he’d turn rangers down as they will turn on you in a heartbeat, and he’s not the type to get stuck in and thrive in their environment. He may simply disappear, much like he did in Spain.

I still certainly don’t think we’ve found form, but we’re improving and we have a competitive squad. I saw those stats. I’d say first half we were better, second half they were better but last 15-20 we were better again, especially after the red. We also missed a fair few chances, they had the shot cleared by nisbet and the goal disallowed, other than that did mitov have a save?

By logic we should beat Celtic 6-0? I still think Celtic draw or win.

He’s a good player to have, possibly what shinnie used to be but bigger and stronger. What palaversa and Polvara should be. We are too lightweight, someone like that would clearly help. armstrong started well but drifted out the game. Thought shinnie tried but was poor. after Richardson went off we were crying out for a left winger to attack down the line. Topi tried but I’ve come to the realization that he’s just not that good. Really would like a look at frame and Bilalovic. Anyone know what’s up with gyamfi? And isn’t milanovic a leftie with pace??

Thing is, yengi Ambrose or nisbet don’t chase the ball down, don’t keep it in, don’t beat the man, and wouldn’t score from that angle.
