Excellent second half, as has been said, look forward to the day we play for 90 mins. lazetic offers so much more than nisbet. It’s not working for Kev, but at the same time, he was much better when playing with lazetic. Maybe we sign a legit CM or two that allows us to see two forwards more regularly. Shinnie cannot play for 90 mins like that but perhaps he’s our super sub for the next year or two. Def man of the match. penalty was harsh, theirs cleanly not a pen, and I suppose you can say lazetic header was on target and hit a raised arm. very cool penalty from karlsson. Don’t think any of us have really taken to him but there’s talent there, nicely finished. topi offered so little, milanovic has done nothing. Surely, like lobban to a lesser extent, bilalovic plays some part weekly now. Has pace and aggression, and the goal showed real desire. Curious to see him on the left, fuck the inverted crap.

Love having a player up top like lazetic. Don’t like his diving but he’s a hard fucker who mixes it and gets stuck in. Real presence. Good win. Shit first half, excellent second. The way we started the second half is how we should have approached the first. Don’t know how we didn’t score.

Definitely got the line up wrong today. Jensen on the right won’t give us attacking width, topi is not a wing back. Armstrong and adil should have been dropped for shinnie and possibly Clarkson. Nisbet is not a line leading 9. We needed to be fresh in midfield and take the game to them from the start. We have been the opposite. While polvara didn’t play Thursday he’s not an aggressive player and won’t dictate play or dominate.

You’ll not find a post from me criticizing him, this is a first for me. But he’s been awful so far.

Three points today and I see that as us officially caught up and in a battle for third and fourth place. As is said every week, not really sure what to expect. We’ve had some really shit performances and won, killie and st mirren away being perfect examples, but we’ve also had let downs at home, draws to Motherwell and st mirren. We also haven’t lost in a while and do we have a Thursday hangover. don’t care about killie’s form, it’s all on us. Would love to see another Dundee home performance, we’re due a good home win, but I’m also a little concerned how much Thursday took out of us. Expect polvara back, topi and lazetic were given an hour Thursday so think they’ll start. Would not be surprised to see shinnie start ahead of Armstrong. Not sure if adil is due a rest but he’s the form midfielder at the moment, and is young, hope he gets the start. If not, wouldn’t mind a rare start for Clarkson, but also wonder if we see two up top with nisbet at 10 ahead of shinnie and polvara. 3-1 us, karlsson lazetic nisbet

I think polvara has done enough in recent weeks to move ahead of palaversa in the playing order, plus shinnie Armstrong and adil are too. Saying that, I’m not fussed if polvara doesn’t renew his contract. Was actually surprised we jumped so quickly to extend palaversa’s contract, but I’d certainly cash in palaversa and clarkson asap, they are prob the (only) two we have who would bring in some reasonable money. really neeed to invest in legit center mids, obviously three oldies, and still not convinced adil is worth 1.5m.
