I dont think it’s just the US, Lutz wasn’t here that long, I think it’s anywhere you have a director of football type roll. The British game in general is not forward thinking. lots of itchy feet. Expect activity this week, I suspect we didn’t want too much change before the cup game. Now that’s out the way think we may see a manager and a player or two. no clue if graham is any good, but we have been willing to pay for relatively foreign unknowns, would like us to push the boat out for a Scottish player. We’ve missed much more than hit with Scottish players of late, and it’s been highlighted recently that we need to be more Scottish.

Do they only do these tribunals once a decade??
-
Out of curiosity, have they even paid for Barron?
-
Motherwell at home, could have been better but certainly could have been a lot worse. good opportunity to get revenge on the league cup loss. will they have their manager? Their forward? Welsh? what changes will we have by then??
-
I think your point backs up what many have said, there isn’t a squad player we’d bend over backwards to keep, nobody stands out, and that includes Clarkson. Some have made it out that Clarkson is a good player who has been hard done by, but he hasn’t stood out. Has he been wrongly played, perhaps. At the same time, poor players around you affects how you play, I thought he looked decent with Cameron, just need that third complimentary piece. im In the minority but I like what I saw from Cameron and don’t give two shits whether he’s a rangers loaner or not. I don’t quite understand the loan but so be it. We don’t have talent that he is blocking from developing. We could still sign Cameron, and taking time from aouchiche Armstrong sivert polvara or shinnie makes no difference, none of them are the future. Marshall is out of contract soon and may leave anyway, and may not be good enough. I’d like to see Kjarten more but don’t see Cameron taking his minutes. we more than desperately need three players (obviously more) but a dominating central defender, Rama replacement in DM, and a right mid, are essential. Can we get any of that in this window???
-
Maybe controversial, but I don't grudge Cameron choosing rangers over us last summer. But welsh choosing to play the occasional game for Celtic or loan back to Motherwell at this stage his career, knowing he could be an impact player here on a decent wage, interesting choice. I suppose I understand not having a manager to discuss your role could certainly be a factor.

Think belalovic frame and Kjarten have all shown that they deserve minutes the rest of the season. Hopefully the new guy can develop them into legit first team players.
-
A 6 ft 4 shinnie who wins every tackle and header. Preferably Scottish.
-
Thought he did okay. Looked more athletic than gyamfi. Didn’t do anything on the attacking side, plus defensively don’t recall any 1v1. Def positive, worth more time.
-
Yeah, when the new guy comes in I’d punt leven too. Complete change. The inverted needs to go asap. Doesn’t help us at all. Clarkson is not a 10, Cameron isn’t taking his minutes. Cameron takes minutes from aouchiche and Armstrong in my opinion. Sign a legit holding mid and I think he compliments Clarkson and Cameron. Cameron reminded me a bit of Niall mcginn today, especially his first season when he was central. Cameron is legit 10, don’t think anyone else at the club is. No clue where Marshall plays but I dont think Cameron is holding anyone else back. bigger picture, Cameron makes us better for 6 months and the only player I think he hurts is Marshall. But is Marshall good enough for first team minutes? Is Cameron an option, maybe. If we were willing to lay 1.5 for Aouchiche, maybe we’ll pay for Cameron. thought topi and nisbet did well today.

Cameron MOTM?

We’re managerless, low on confidence, not scoring, and not winning games. We’re through with a win and shutout, can’t ask for much more right now.
-
Yeah. Much like all the fouls in the box from corners that are fouls anywhere else in the pitch. Surprised var didn’t take a look.
-
I’m not a nisbet fan but he’s def put in a shift today. agree not a great game, but we’re def a lot faster and livelier in attack. Much better on the counter than the slow and sideways we’ve seen a lot of this season. second needed for sure, this is going to be a nervy finish given the poor goals we tend to lose.
-
I’d argue Cameron looks more attack minded. I know he’s probably not getting the benefit of the doubt from many fans, but seems a lot more direct and forward thinking. We’ve been sideways and back a lot this season, think this is a difference despite it’s another center mid.
-
First time shot and it’s 2-0 ffs.
-
Pissing down and cold. Not the game for karlsson. Would rather see bilalovic.
-
We’ve seen the impact shinnie can have coming on, needed asap.
-
Yup. Besides being Scottish, does Cameron offer anything more than aouchiche or Armstrong?? (Besides younger and more of an engine than Armstrong maybe?)
-
Second half hat trick!

Pure speculation/opinion, but I suspect the US hand is being forced by increased Russian activity in the region. US is also leaning much more on allies for support with the threat of tariffs (eg denmark) for whom the US provides military and or financial support. I think trump is the type that’s now asking other countries for support in return for continued benefits from the US. I think the feeling is that the US has provided support to other counties with little return, now they are being asked to do more, including support with Greenland.
-
We can hope. Leven has given him a chance to prove himself. He’s certainly shown he’s not capable, no need to give him more time.
-
To be fair, Armstrong isn’t bad, but he’s barely touched the ball, need a worker, shinnie is the best we have, to work alongside Clarkson and Cameron. I think those two have been better than Armstrong, hence Armstrong drops out. I also think shinnie will have a leadership/effort effect.
