I’ve said this before, miovski could not have had it more perfect with us. He was our 9 who would pretty much play as he wanted, got all the penalties, scored early on his dons career, scored a game winner at hampden, and got cult/hero status very quickly. He was loved/adored. We have that type of club, some players truly love it here and you see the connection he had with the fans. Fast forward to now, whether the injury he had is a factor I don’t know, but he’s not a sure or regular starter, very limited playing time, not on penalties, team won’t gel around him, fans/culture is awful/toxic, not winning regularly or doing well, it’s the perfect storm. I also think miovski has a sensitive side and that’s just not the place for him. Perhaps his time with us is similar to cosgrove, it just all clicked for him and he got his big move, then kind of disappears.

Yup, 3 goals 3 assists this season in the league I think. Seems quite an athletic lad, decent pace, gets up and down the line quite a bit, kinda what I though gyamfi would be.

Wonder if we are taking a look at their left back too, can play left back, wing back, and winger. Scored a couple this season and think he’s been decent. Send them cash and frame? Both the left back and masawanhise are still young too so sell on for profit is still a possibility.

I don’t understand. With Armstrong sivert and shinnie we still appear to have no leadership out there. No passion or drive in midfield. It’s only a matter of time before they score at this rate.

You may be right he’s not good enough, I’ve never seen him play, but I dont agree on your ‘doing the yards’ comment. It depends on the type of midfielder you want and what he is. If you want him to be the Rama replacement then it sounds like he’s being set up for failure. Both Ryan jack and Jim Bett were decent midfielders, different, but neither known for doing the yards IMHO. Connor Barron too, and I apologize for the clear Huns relationship, but all were tidy players. weve failed miserably at recruitment that I def think it’s worth taking a look since he’s ours, before we spunk more money.

We’ve spunked a fair few pounds on players not good enough. I’d be giving first team time to look at Marshall frame Belalovic and kjarten to see if they are any good before bringing too many more in. fwiw McKenna was mediocre on loan at ayr and only got into our first team initially due to injury/suspension, they rest is history. You have to look and see what you have.
