  1. My biggest problem with this close season is that we can effectively kiss any Euro challenge goodbye. Any players who potentially were lined up to come in may be put off by either the uncertainty around the manager or by the fact that he moves on. That gives us a few weeks for any new manager to try and replace some pretty difficult to replace players. Life goes on but it doesn't need to creep up from behind, stab you in the back, shit in your mouth and then fuck you up the arse all at the same time.
  2. The way they go through managers he'd be back with us before the end of August
  3. That's true, but the silence from Jack is deafening. He knows what the papers say and he also knows what the fans will think, yet still he's keeping quiet. That says it all. What we want is transparency, not this circus that has started around one players defection. A circus that comes right before the Scottish Cup Final. If he wants to keep everything a secret then go and do it in a beach resort somewhere and keep the fuck away from the real football shit because the last thing we need as a club is the distraction.
  4. Not at all, the only embarrassment is the sanitised pish that folk spout these days. You may well want to pat him on the back and wish him the best, but, if that's where he ends up then to me that's quite unforgivable. I'm a person that holds a fucking grudge... Same attitude I had when Robertson and Wright went there and Snelders after that. You could almost forgive Theo, he wasn't brought up to understand and realise the distaste and hatred towards those fuckers, but anyone with any sense of dignity would at least go and fuck off somewhere else for a season first. Kind of like dumping your wife and then shacking up with her sister...you just don't.
  5. Pretty sure they said on Wednesday that he was 1 yellow card away from serving a suspension at the start of next season. No point in playing him today and running the risk.
  6. I do genuinely wish a durrant type injury on the turncoat little bastard if he goes to them. Preferably preseason. May nothing but physical and psychological hurt haunt your every waking hour.
  7. I notice a couple of the more shit stirring "news sites" are claiming this evening that the huns have made an official approach and that Jack has turned down Columbus Crew and Barnsley. If...and obviously it's still a big if, he did go...what do you think Shinnie would do to the little turncoat prick when we play then next season..
  8. Not quite the fuck off I was hoping for, but not too bad a response "McInnes said: "I find it strange that the Rangers manager feels the need to talk about other clubs so much. "His job as Rangers manager is to finish above Celtic. He shouldn't be talking about our players but each to their own."
  9. Not a chance. His mere presence and the ensuing shitstorm from the crowd would put the rest of the team off. If that's where he is off to then I hope his locker is already empty and his access pass revoked.
  10. Wow....all of the reemergence of the Jacko to the hun rumor hitting the press right before we play them. Got to just love a coincidence eh? I hope McInnes goes fucking rogue in his presser and calls the hun, the portugeezer and the media out as shit stirring pricks.
  11. coming off the train after an away game the first stop had to be Platform 9. Worst bar I remember drinking in was the Eastender. Beside where Christos is, or Christos is where it was...or whatever. Don't think I was ever in there when there wasn't a huge barney.
  12. Had a girfrliend who was a couple of years younger than me. Did a very similar thing in the Tilted Wig, when Gordon the bar manager found out she was only 18 he wished her happy birthday and then barred her for 6 months
  13. at the end of the day though, does their objection hold any sway over the Aberdeen Councils decision? Would it be like me objecting to a boy three streets away putting up an extension?
  14. surely once Slovenia put 3 or 4 past us then those two fuckwits will be shown the door.
  15. I'm happy enough to verbally interact with a colleague in work, but not the moment I've just dragged myself in through the door. Leave me the fuck alone for half an hour to get a coffee, figure out what the day holds and then ease myself into it. But, fair enough, a few grunts of morning isn't too bad. The absolute nightmare that I have the misfortune to sit opposite though really needs a lesson in 'shut the fuck up' She'll come charging in down the corridor as though she's the most important person around and is late for a make or break meeting, as she parks her sizeable arse on the chair she's already complaining about something that happened on the way to work or something that happened the previous evening, she'll then open her emails and feel the need to loudly comment about each and every one she reads, as though the rest of us should give a fuck. She'll then spend half an hour complaining about how she's too busy to do anything, despite the fact that she's got a spare half hour to complain about it, then fuck off for an hour to have breakfast, come back phone some friends etc, etc, etc.... Not my favourite co-worker for sure
  16. hmmm. Couple of points. Celtic are only as dominant as they are this season because the shadow huns have made it to the top league so timmy has to flex a bit of muscle and show them who's boss. As for the league being regarded as tinpot, sadly until the authorities start selling the game as something more than a 2 team league then yes, we will be regarded as a second rate joke of a competition. If we don't take ourselves seriously then how can we sell ourselves as such.
  17. Another frustrating night in Hamilton. For sure we were the better team but they packed their box and we struggled to make inroads. Frustrating but a lot easier to swallow than a meek surrender of the points as we have done on more than one occasion. Genuine question though, do we have an issue with the Hamilton surface. Watching it on the TV the ball seemed to be quite unpredictable, but, then again, we should have maybe been using the nice flat even surface to play the ball on the deck.
  18. I know I shouldn't have looked....but weebazza the crab is quoted as saying this today ""The guy for me [would be] Derek McInnes. But they are not going to get Derek probably until the end of the season."He's the perfect guy for the job. He's done an unbelievable job up at Aberdeen and he suits Rangers down to a tee." http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/rangers/15122244.Aberdeen_boss_Derek_McInnes_the_perfect_fit_for_Rangers_job___Barry_Ferguson/
  19. correct. Had a lot of skill and could see a pass that unfortunately a lot of our other players couldn't. He went down easily, but in fairness to him he was clobbered a lot, quite often due to him being mentally and physically quicker than the opponents he was up against. However, our decent run of results and our consistent team selection started after McInnes benched him after the defeat away to Ross County and I don't recall him starting another game for us.
  20. I like Lewis, he's the best keeper we've had for a long time (loanees excluded) but that is the one weak spot in his game that I've noticed on more than one occasion this season. He does sometimes come out into a crowded box and leave himself in no mans land after failing to get anywhere near the ball.
  21. I would just like to say, 20 mins of High Def highlights on Red TV, that was worth the subscription in its self. One thing I just noticed about dingus and his little altercation in the mainer, he doesn't actually start getting mouthy with the boy filming him until he spots the club rep scuttling down the stairs who was going to stop the filming. Not only are you a load mouthed twat, you're also a fucking coward min.
  22. tell you what, if I was a well fan I'd be absolutely raging about dingus's attitude. "I wasn't that upset, infact I was even having a joke or two" Fuck me, getting humped and just shrugging your shoulders and not being bothered by it.
  23. the other assumption being made is that the huns would be willing to pony up some compensation for him in the first place. Personally I suspect that they will have to go for the cheaper option of a currently unemployed manager, but that, like everything else is just pure speculation.
  24. the huns say he resigned on Wednesday yet he was still talking to the media and taking training on Friday. Absolutely superb. This will cost a bit in compo and court fees. The only downside being there will no doubt be confidentiality clauses built into any agreement. I wasn't going to watch their game against Morton, but I might have to now...
  25. you dispense of this "showing them respect" bollocks. You harass, harry and intimidate them. You set yourself out in a positive formation with a positive mindset and you do the fucking basics properly. Teams with inferior players to us have given them a better game over the years. Play our own game instead or trying to adapt to theirs. I'd have more respect for the team and the management if we get by 2 or 3 goals by having a fucking go.
