  1. They just can't help themselves can they. Both that fucknut portugeezer and the weedgie rag that acts as his personal mouthpiece. Obviously I've not read anything other than this "gossip" snapshot.... "Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha wants two more signings this summer and has hinted that Hearts winger Jamie Walker and Aberdeen midfielder Kenny McLean remain his principal targets. (Sunday Mail)?"
  2. Arnason and Moult and I'd happily say that our transfer business was completed....incoming at any rate. I suspect there may be a couple of departures.
  3. Has that account every produced anything factual?
  4. I don't think the fact that McInnes stayed should be overlooked in Logan signing on again. Not just the stability of having a manager that likes what you do, but the overall feel that the players get from him being there.
  5. Report I read this morning said a loan, but I see now that you can only have 1 player on loan from a rival club, which I never realised. You'd think that his wage demands would be too rich for our budget to be honest, but perhaps he's just a loon that wants to play regardless of the money....aye, I doubt that as well!
  6. I thought our defence was probably the weakest area last season, it's not got any better now. Logan's solid, although he does tend to drift out of position now and again, Considine is turning into a surprisingly capable left back, but the middle is a concern. Any rejigging to pull consi into CD sees Shinnie return to left back, which isn't a problem other than he's also a bloody good midfielder as well. I see today though that we're being strongly linked with taking GMS on a season long loan. Not exactly overly happy with that idea.
  7. saying that, if he does sign I hope he's got a really small fucking face...
  8. Spearing...aye right. He was reportedly one of Boltons highest earners. If he signs for us I'll get his face tattood on my right bollock. http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/wanderers/15397848.Wanderers_sever_ties_with_ex_captain_Spearing/
  9. actually just logged in to post the same thing. 1 year deal, Moult has 1 year left of his contract. Could be the case. I doubt that it's a panic buy as I have every faith that for every target the management team has there's a plan B as well, so maybe not a panic, just not necessarily a first choice. Mind you, as I think about it, how long would it take to contact a player via his agent, agree a package, get the medical done and get everything signed? If Motherwell turned down the Moult offer yesterday then everything else happened affa quick.
  10. that one has, in true Derek style, come completely out of the blue. Welcome aboard loon.
  11. Just as well my virtual keyboard isn't linked directly into my brain because some of the responses I'd end up typing about 100% would lead to a permanent ban.
  12. will I bite....nah, stew in your own verbal shite and be done with it.
  13. no...I believe you're just being called out for being full of shit
  14. No, Key is defence. A Reynolds/O'Connor partnership is a stop gap, but not a solution, and if one of them gets injured or suspended which will invariably happen quite quickly into the season then who takes over? Switch Consi to CB and move Shinnie back to LB?
  15. good lord...unlike some others I actually think he'd be a bigger loss than Jack http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/rangers/15368739.Rangers_make_move_to_sign_Aberdeen_midfielder_Kenny_McLean/
  16. Lewis, same as McLean and Logan will be out of contract next year. Logan will be off, McLean will more than likely be off as well. Lewis...who knows, but Rodgers is waiting in the wings. Could well still be a few more departures this summer if we want to get some cash in. Derek Adams can fuck off. Whoever it was that mentioned knowing the style of football we play...we have no style now. We lost the pacy counter attack down the wings. We need somebody with experience, we need somebody with contacts and an understanding of the world game and somebody who can build a team. We also need somebody with a calm and even head who wont panic, because there will be a lot of pressure to maintain the form that we've become used to over the past few seasons which wont be easy given the recent departures. I don't see Adams fitting any one of those categories.
  17. Not so much the end of the cycle, more like we just parked it up outside the pub and nipped in for a swift half, but when we got out some cunts nicked everything but the back wheel.
  18. to be honest I don't buy some of the assumptions that he can play anything other than negative shite fitba.
  19. whoever comes in needs time. They also need to be able to rebuild a squad and very quickly. I know McInnes had his limitations but when we broke with pace and played that ball through the wide players we were awesome to watch. No matter who we get in, I just don't see us playing that same style of football. Honestly, I see top 6 as the aim for next season.
  20. there's not many on that list that fills me full of confidence. So, I guess we can also look at the likes of Logan bailing as well, I think he was pretty widely quoted as saying that the only reason he stayed on was because of McInnes. Looking forward to a playoff final next season though, should keep the excitement up.
  21. No panic folks...we've 5 1/2 weeks until we have to play a competitive match.
  22. Sadly it looks as though he's off. evening express (I know,, I know...) saying that the tims have been given permission to talk to him. Him leaving I can understand, his strengthening a team that is already head and shoulders above us is harder to take. Fuck me, less than a week after we lost the cup final and we're looking pretty threadbare now. It's not just the loss of the players on the pitch, it's the momentous shift in camaraderie that worries me. One thing that we appeared to have was a dressing room that really gelled, that's hard to replicate.
  23. but the thing is, there's leaving and there's leaving. The public courting of him by SEVCO, almost trying to push him into saying where he was going. Somebody telling porkies, be it the club, the player or his agent...remember it wasn't so long ago we were assured that "Ryan has categorically denied he's going to rangers" To top it all off, I see this morning he's bubbling in the paper that his "heart was broken when he was stripped of the captaincy" Oh give me a fucking break. Vitriol towards him and his new employers...oh aye, there's plenty of that and there will always be. You know what, when the vitriol subsides, when we all start happily patting each other on the back and wishing each other good luck before a game on a Saturday then that's when the final nail gets driven into the coffin of football. Without the hate, without the rivalry, without the misguided passion towards your club to the detriment of all others then what's left? A sanitised shitty version of what I grew up with for sure.
  24. I would just like to update my personal feelings from earlier.
  25. At least he had the decency to sign an extended contract which means we can....or at least should...get a decent transfer fee for him. At the moment we are looking to rebuild a team on the cheap because all of the first team players that have gone have done so for fuck all. If he goes and with McGinn gone though, that's the width, that's the outlet to fast counter attacking passing football. Not quite sure where the shape of the team goes from here.
